Jetsfan0099 Icon : (17 May 2013 - 04:53 PM) Sounds like it may not be as bad with Goodson. I could see him ending up with a 4 game suspension for possession, the gun charges probably going to the other guy.

Jetsfan115 Icon : (17 May 2013 - 05:49 PM) i'd order a steak from idzik but he'd just give me a hamburger and try to pass it off as steak and when i cought him in the act he'd gie me a million dollars to make up for it
Jetsman05 Icon : (17 May 2013 - 05:55 PM) awesome analogy, makes a ton of sense

Or....josh beckett will be the most overrated out of all pitchers on both teams, and him and Schilling will combine for 20 start and 15 losses

That sounds more right

Beckett can't stay healthy and is moving from the NL and a pitches friendly park too the AL in a not so pitchers friendly park.

the dude is 25, younger than anyone but cano on the yankees, he has a bright future. i really dont think the yankees are going to do so good this year again because of there pitching, it sucked last year, they didnt really do anything to improve it really.

changing parks is a big deal? look at randy johnson, he did it. that factor is really overated.

He has great potential, but he gets hurt a lot. Our pitching is the same since last year, on paper but Wang and Johnson have a year under there belt in the bronx and chacon wasn't there until about half way through the year Moose is also healthy, wright/Pavano are our trouble area's. Yes changing parks is a big deal, look at chacon his ERA was like 6 something until he got out of colorado. Johnson didn't do nearly as good as he did with the D-Backs. Once pavano got out of FL he was no good. Changing parks is a big factor.

pavano seems to be trash, johnson has slown down a lot over the past few years, aaron small is iffy, id like to see him go 10-0 again, wang is in the same boat as small. moose also doesnt have much gas left at 37, but bostons pitching isnt exactly stellar either so enough about that. only thing for sure is that there pitching is def. there weakest point.

Pavano and Wight suck, and we knew that coming in. Johnson was horrible at the begining of last year, then got untouchable, and twards the end, we were dominating with Wang, Small and Chacon, if those three can pitch as good as they did, and same with Johnson, I'd take them over the Red Sox Injured Reserve All Stars they got over there.....Shilling?...Beckett?...Wakefield?, its finally hit a time to where the Sox fans can't talk shit to the Yankees fans about buying your team, becuase the only big name(at all) the Yankees got was Damon, but the Sox got Beckett, Loretta, Crisp, and others, a bigger one. But now in the AL East, pitching is more important, Sox have good bats, but now they have to face better pitchers, like the Blue Jays, so you can see Manny and Ortiz start to decline.
