Jetsfan0099 Icon : (19 February 2015 - 12:28 PM) Reports say Jets to go hard after CJ Spiller. Bring him aboard, he'll be a good signing. Was a stud in Chan's offense and RBs don't cost much
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (20 February 2015 - 12:09 PM) Saw that the Bills are meeting with Spiller and may sign him before FA.
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (20 February 2015 - 12:10 PM) if that happens, I think the Jets should go after Shane Vereen. Nice pass catching option out of the backfield, only 25.
Smedsthejet Icon : (20 February 2015 - 04:06 PM) Think Vereen would be a great option...I thought he was one of their best and most valuable performers during the playoffs and we need a back who can contribute in the passing game as well. Jets have been missing that piece since LT retired

LOL .. just messing with you. It's seems like you have commandeered the FFB idea and started to get it off the ground somewhat. Congrats! Although, I tried to join a league someone started here but it was full sad.gif

It's cool there was a forum created for fantasy football. I just noticed it today. However, if it is going to be played on y! then there is no reason to really have this forum. Unless people just want to get together and talk about strategies or something.

I still think it's a good idea to have a FFB system set up here, but I guess there is too much involved and not enough manpower to get it up and running. I could program some php files and do some database work and everything would work fine, but the limitation would be that players would have to enter in their own stats .. which wouldn't be a bad idea cause the opponent would obviously check to see if the stats were indead accurate.

Anyway, just stumbled across this board and noticed that you pretty much are spearheading the FFB for NYJetsfan.com ... congrats on keeping what was a good idea, which I thought had lost all hope, alive.

Haha! Take that. hi.gif

Well, I was wondering if you had lost interest in the idea, since you never posted anything about it here. I thought I had PMed you about your ideas for the league (since it was your idea)...but maybe I just asked you about it in a thread or something.

Anyway, I really wanted to have it on here since it would be more of a tie to the site, but more people seemed to want to do a Yahoo league or were iffy about running it through a forum. You gotta give the people what they want.

I still think this forum works, as I imagine once it comes time to really get it started (I figure around early August) there will be two leagues worth of members. Are you interested in joining? If there is more than one league we would need a commish for the other one.

So...if you have any ideas or what-not, throw them on out, cause I'm just kind of going with it as it comes.

Don't worry, now that fans are starting to donate, I'll be purchasing some FFL software to be run on this site. drinks.gif
