Jetsfan115 Icon : (Today, 03:40 PM) nicks isn't holding out. he's injured still and taking it easy. cruz is holding out. why it isn't a big ordeal IDK. it would be for us

i would say no to play offs, and i would say between 6-8 wins. I would be happy to hit 500 this year, but what i see is a much different team this year. The offense having alot more production this year. Our Running game will be alot better and more used. Also see our players go through a change and be alot more disaplined.

I would say yes to playoffs and yes to taking the divison title!

Heres why-

We have depth at QB- Chad Pennington, Ramsey, Clemens, Bollinger
We have a depth at RB- The Great 28, Cedric Houston, our new RB
Our oline is young and sweet- Nick Mangold, D Brick, Kendall.
Our defense is stack- Kimo, Ellis, J-Ville, Barton, Hobson, The new LB, Dyson, Rhodes, The new DT, Robertson
Our kicking and punting game is great- Nugent, Graham
Recievers have depth- Coles, J-Mac, The Rookie, Tim Dwight.
A good rookie coach who has 2 SB rings
A good coaching staff that includes Bryan Cox, Richie Anderson and Mike Westhoff!

Everybody else has-
A noname QB named Holcomb, with a no talent team.
A washed up New England team with no running game and Defence
A crappy Miami team

And the AFC East has a Champion!- The 2006 New York Jets, a true underdog story!

6-8 wins and no playoffs. New England are still the best by far in the division whilst Miami has made some good upgrades especially signing Culpepper even though he was crocked much of last year and Ronnie Brown will come on leaps and bounds.
Yes we have improved but there is still a way to go. If Chad gets injured and Ramsey doesn't pan out expect another season like last year.

Yea the Pats are going to have a amazing Offense, with adding Chad Jackson and Laurence Maroney. Plus they still have Tom Brady. Once he retires they are done.

Hey, I'm just being optomistic. The pats don't exactly have the 2004 defence and with guts like Adam Viniteri, David Givens and Willie McGiniest gone, they won't go 10-6. Yes they still have Tom Brady, But they don't have a Pro Bowl O-Line and got old recievers. They won't make the playoffs. Its a race between the Jets and Fins for the division. Thats all I have to say.

I say 6-8 wins, if we pull a miracle out our ass we'll get 9, which is max. I think we really improved, and in 2008 will make a serious run at the Super Bowl.

He is 28 first off, and second i was saying once he retires they are done till then they are going to be a great team every year. I wasnt saying he is going to retire anytime soon, im just saying they wont be bad till brady is gone. He has about 6 years left in him.

Yea if we found who our QB is for the future and are set at QB then we might make a run.

i think we will suprise people this year, we are a much better team then last year. We have 4 QBs on our roster plus a younger and more talented O-Line, that will do better then that line last year. Also a healthy Defense that has Mangini Coaching them, and we got Andre Dyson for our DBs, I just thought that was a great pick, he will be better then Ty Law would be this year, because Law might get injuried and also he got slower and fatter.

Dyson has pritty good coverage skills, he gets alot of PD and Ints. He is also fast, what do you know though, his number is 24 the 3rd different person to wear that jersey in 3 years.

I agree with Chadforpresidentin08. We have a new coach, new Defense to learn and new offense. A lot will depend on how rasmey or pennington and maybe even clemens do. I say 6-8 wins becuase of our easy schedule. '07 we make a run at the playoffs. In '08 I think we will be ready to make a run at the superbowl.
