Jets are doing jets related things also... THE KNICKS.
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 07:49 AM) I wouldn't surprise me if he wasn't viewed as highly next year. College players always get hyped up a year before the draft process. People change their opinions quickly.
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 07:56 AM) I'll put a good amount of money that Bridgewater is still highly regarded coming out next year.
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 08:00 AM) ok I found the chart
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 08:00 AM) Bridgewater had 0% of his passes go 40+ yards in college
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 08:02 AM) he could be, I'll wait though
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 08:02 AM) I doubt Smith will be as bad as Clausen anyways
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 08:03 AM) I remember watching Clausen in a NFL game and the guy couldn't even throw a spiral.
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 08:03 AM) Geno has been impressing teammates with how well he can spin the ball and sling it.
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 08:31 AM) I hope Geno turns out to be a f***ing monster
Jetsfan115 Icon : (Yesterday, 10:52 AM) andrew luck was hyped up for like 3 years before he entered teh draft
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 11:34 AM) tehhhh
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 11:37 AM) it wasn't for 3 years and Andrew Luck is the best QB prospect to come out in years. Teddy Bridgewater most likely isn't Luck or RGIII
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 11:40 AM) I've only seen Bridgewater play once. That was against Florida, I actually watched that game.
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 12:12 PM) Teddy will be a good NFL QB I think
MikeGangGree... Icon : (Yesterday, 12:52 PM) THE KNICKS
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 01:21 PM) THE. KNICKS.
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 02:43 PM) Geno was the favorite to win the Heisman this time last year
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 02:44 PM) He was also a Top 5 pick this time last year
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 02:44 PM) If he came out in 2012, he might have gotten drafted before RG3
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 02:56 PM) TEH KNICKS
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 03:25 PM) noway he would have been drafted before RGIII
HarlemHxC814 Icon : (Yesterday, 04:00 PM) Tehhhh
Jetsfan115 Icon : (Yesterday, 04:12 PM) chuck norris said tebow is a great QB. i'm so conflicted becuase tebow sucks but on the other hand if chuck norris said it, it must be true lol
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 09:21 PM) Geno was not the favorite to win the heisman going into the year lol
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 09:21 PM) you don't watch college football, stop
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 09:23 PM) He might not even of been in the second tier of players
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 09:25 PM) I've read a ton of articles and all had him as the favorite
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 09:25 PM) Who was the favorite then?
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 09:27 PM) "Smith was already going to be on most Heisman preseason lists, but a 407-yard, 6-TD performance in the Orange Bowl win over Clemson only solidified him as an elite passer. He can make every throw on the field and has a plethora of talented receivers coming back. Since this team will likely be playing in the Big 12, which has had the uncanny knack for inflating quarterback numbers recently, Smith and head coach Dana Holgorsen are going to leave opposing defenses charred and crippled on most Saturdays."
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 09:27 PM) That's from a Jan 2012 article
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 09:27 PM) You can google shit from 14 months ago and find a f*** ton of these
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 09:29 PM) http://news.yahoo.com/top-10-heisman-trophy-candidates-2012-heading-season-150300441--ncaaf.html
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 09:31 PM) http://newyork.sbnation.com/2012/8/17/3249284/heisman-trophy-watchlist-2012-las-vegas-betting-odds-line-matt-barkley-montee-ball-denard-robinson
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 09:32 PM) He was 4th according to Vegas odds in April 2012
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 09:53 PM) 4th makes him the favorite?
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 09:53 PM) you said he was the favorite
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 09:53 PM) he wasn't anything near the favorite
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 09:54 PM) he reached his pinnacle in the heisman race in the early part of last season
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 09:54 PM) at that point he was the favorite
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 09:56 PM) also, what a basketball game
MikeGangGree... Icon : (Yesterday, 10:21 PM) 4 point game
MikeGangGree... Icon : (Yesterday, 10:21 PM) maybe the pacers are that good
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 12:36 AM) I said that his time last year, he was the favorite. I misspoke. He was 3rd or 4th. He certainly wasn't "not even in the 2nd tier" like you claimed
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 12:36 AM) Take your medicine Matty
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 12:36 AM) Maybe you should watch more college football instead of talking about watching college football

Man today was hot, having those black helmets obsorbing the heat.
Also the shoulder pads holding in the heat.
I sweated buckets today.
We start hitting fully next week, we wear full pads, right now its just shoulder and helmets.
In another week we start 6 days a week practice.
We start lifting in March. Then July 6th we started conditioning practice, we started running and lifting.
Then we had practice like doing drill going over plays.

But yea so far, I have to say its not going to good for my team, it may be the heat but their has not been alot of intensity.
I bet it will pick up when the heat dies, but we had a big team meeting after practice today, with no coachs just players.
We lost almost all of our starters from last years team, we are rank 1, but thats based off of last year. We still have our star RB/Saftey. Also have a great WR/CB.
Also have this great OT/DT he is pretty big, he is like 6-5 or 6-6 and weighs like 290-285. somewhere around there.

I know what you mean it was the same for us last year with all the heat practice wasnt as intense but once we had our 1st scrimmage and we got later into camp the heat died down and we started having good practices. Do you guys like run plays the whole time or just do hitting drills most of the time?

We do drills first for like 30 mins, like Linemen by themselves and RBs by themselves and etc.
We go over what are assignments in blocking are going to be.
Then we go into Inside outside.
We have Linebackers and Linemen and Linemen and backfield, we go over running plays and some TEs passing plays.
Then we go into team.
Tomarrow is a defensive day for us, today was offense.
Last years summer wasnt hot for us, it never hit the 100s.
It was a nice summer.
This summer is hot as hell. Hitting the 100s this week like 3 times.

We started wearing full pads Monday.
It felt great to start hitting and playing full contact!
Our coach gave us Thursday and Friday off, so we have 5 days off then Monday we start season practice. Were we do offense and defense and special teams in every practice and we do 6 days a week.
After yesterdays practice I noticed that my knee was swelling up, and it doesnt really hurt unless you put pressure on it, it was pretty weird, because I didnt remember banging it against something. I still practiced today though.

Any one else start having full pads practice and full contact?

I 1 week we start our scrimmages, we scrimmage Pennsauken on Monday, then Thursday Middle Town South, then the next week on Tuesday we scrimmage Shawnee, then Friday we scrimmage Nottingham.
September 8th is our season opener against Southern.

I cant remember if I played that year, I know when I did play 2 years we went 6-2.
My first year we were co champions in the division, then went on to the regional playoffs, we lost in it though first round.
My 2nd year we lost to Howell I remember it was a final score of 6-0 and we went to like overtime a few times, they got lucky and got there guy in the back of the end zone on a luck pass.
Then I dont remember the other lost, maybe it was Freehold.. We played the 3-4 defense that year I believe, it was cool. We had a great defense we shutted people out alot, just didnt score alot. We would score like 6 points then shut them out the rest of the game.
Do you remember which week it was??
What was your final record then?
What was the score if you remember?
In freshmen year my freshmen team went 3-6. It was embarresing, our coach sucked so much, then my Sophmore year we went 12-0 and beat Brick Memorial in the state championship.
Hey we play Freehold, is it your team?? Is there a difference between Freehold and Freehold buro? Or is it the same place? Did we play you last year because I played a Freehold and we like crushed them.

You guys played Freehold Twp. I play for Freehold Boro but in Pop Warner its the Boro kids and Twp. kids combined but then after pop warner onto high school all the kids get split up and go to the 2 diffrent schools. I think its was like week 3 that we played you and this is pop warner im talkin about. In pop warner Freehold is both boro and twp. combined.

Today we scrimmaged Pennsauken. Man there field was full of goose poop everywhere! It was nasty.
Our Linemen dominated theres. But there skill postions were fast!
I kepted on blowing past there OTs and TEs.
I almost had a sack, but he got rid of it like a second before I hit him.
We did a pretty good job, there head coach use to be ours a few years ago, he won 2 state championships in a row then went to there.
I was playing with a shin contusion also, I got nailed there last week. It kinda hurts alittle, half to were a donut pad.
Anyone else scrimmage anyone?
If you did how did you do? What town?

September 8th, a Friday. Against Southern, its usually a tough game against Southern, we have trouble with them, we nearly lost to them last year, we won by a field goal at the last seconds of the game. We won 10-9. They missed a extra point, that ended up killing them.
