Jets are doing jets related things also... THE KNICKS.
ganggreen2003 Icon : (Yesterday, 12:04 PM) he's a completely weak-minded individual
ganggreen2003 Icon : (Yesterday, 12:04 PM) already back to doing what he did last season THROWING INT's
ganggreen2003 Icon : (Yesterday, 12:04 PM) sucks that Garrard retired but I'd rather suffer with Geno going through growing pains than keeping Sanchez under center in 2013
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 12:33 PM) haha gg03 throwing in the towel on sanch!
mgjetman Icon : (Yesterday, 01:37 PM) What a way to make sporrts center already, Mark......
mgjetman Icon : (Yesterday, 01:39 PM) Sanch owns the #1 blooper of all time with that butt fumble also and to make matters worse he threw it right to a friggin Pat...
Jetsfan115 Icon : (Yesterday, 01:53 PM) buttfumble on thanksgiving was the low point of his career
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 01:55 PM) Teammates talking shut about Sanchez
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 02:11 PM) In case you haven't heard, because why would anyone report on the Giants, Nicks is also holding out
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 02:11 PM) That makes both Cruz and Nicks.
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 02:11 PM) But who cares, Sanchez threw 3 "interceptions"!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 02:59 PM) ?
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 02:59 PM) why would we give a f*** about the Giants?
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 03:04 PM) gg03 jimmies are riled
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 03:21 PM) You're not in NY. All the backpages are focused on Sanchez
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 03:21 PM) None of the NY media even mention Cruz or Nicks
Jetsfan115 Icon : (Yesterday, 03:40 PM) nicks isn't holding out. he's injured still and taking it easy. cruz is holding out. why it isn't a big ordeal IDK. it would be for us
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 04:02 PM) maybe because theyre not that far off.
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 04:02 PM) Cruz wants to return back, they'll figure it out.
Jetsfan115 Icon : (Yesterday, 04:41 PM) 3 mil a year off or 30% less then cruz wants. tahst alot of money to be off
Jetsfan115 Icon : (Yesterday, 04:41 PM) cruz doens't want to leave NY cause teh extra money he'll get in endorsements plus he knows taht they can RFA him this year and then Franchise next year so he might not be able to get a LTD for 3 years
Mr_Jet Icon : (Yesterday, 05:21 PM) Clemens11/Tebow15 (soon to be Smith7) said if we had just drafted Crabtree and Nicks and kept Clemens, we'd be good.
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 06:44 PM) No, he can't be Smith7
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 06:44 PM) his name is reserved for garbage QBs, we don't want Geno to be bad
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 06:44 PM) He can be McElroy14
extmenace Icon : (Yesterday, 06:51 PM) we're taking bridgewater next year with the number 1 pick and treating geno like a jimmy clausen.
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 06:53 PM) What makes Bridgewater better than Geno?
HurricaneJet32 Icon : (Yesterday, 07:12 PM) everything
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 07:56 PM) ^
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 08:16 PM) college players always get hyped up before the draft process, just wondering what makes him so much better.
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 08:19 PM) Stronger arm, plays in a pro system, better throwing motion, better athlete
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 08:19 PM) there's probably nothing Geno does right now that's better than what Teddy does
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 10:25 PM) Wouldn't it be funny with Bridgewater ends up having the type of season Barkley had?
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 07:48 AM) better athlete but never runs as well
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 07:48 AM) stronger arm but rarely throws deep
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 07:48 AM) I am trying to find this article, but Bridgewater had about the least amount of 40+ throws in college football
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 07:49 AM) I wouldn't surprise me if he wasn't viewed as highly next year. College players always get hyped up a year before the draft process. People change their opinions quickly.
Jetsman05 Icon : (Today, 07:56 AM) I'll put a good amount of money that Bridgewater is still highly regarded coming out next year.
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 08:00 AM) ok I found the chart
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 08:00 AM) Bridgewater had 0% of his passes go 40+ yards in college
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 08:02 AM) he could be, I'll wait though
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 08:02 AM) I doubt Smith will be as bad as Clausen anyways
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 08:03 AM) I remember watching Clausen in a NFL game and the guy couldn't even throw a spiral.
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 08:03 AM) Geno has been impressing teammates with how well he can spin the ball and sling it.
Jetsman05 Icon : (Today, 08:31 AM) I hope Geno turns out to be a f***ing monster

As a Phillies fan, do I have the right to say shit? Nope

As a Phillies fan, do I know that my team has won 1 World Series in 123 years of existence? Yep

But God do I love seeing those Yankees lose! Good Job Tigers! No one gave them a chance...and low and behold, the ALCS has a spot reserved for the Detroit Tigers.

No one can tell me that they (as a team) aren't overrated. As a group of players, when you are by far the most paid team in baseball for 5 years...and you cant win the World Series ONCE during that span, you are definately overrated.

As a Phillies fan, let me just introduce you guys to a saying that us Phillies fans have come to trademark and use for 122 years.............

WAIT TIL NEXT YEAR

Well atleast the Yankees made the playoffs.
Its a sad day but Joe Torrii is going to be gone. Here comes the next era and Pennela is the next GM of the Yanks. Yankees will win the WS next year, once we get our pitching staff better. We need to sign Barry Zito.

Ah the age old saying..."Atleast they got there"...because getting to the playoffs is the ultimate goal right? Right now the Phillies are right where the Yankees are...except it was less heartbreaking and much less expensive for us.

I've heard "Here comes number twenty-seven" since 2002...it's going to be 2007 next year. And despite having the highest payroll by alot and the supposed "Best line up ever"...the last 5 seasons have brought you an early exit by a wildcard team that many picked to be swept, a world series loss to a wild card team, the biggest and most notorious collapse in baseball playoff history and two early exits from teams that "Don't have a chance".

There is a reason why the Yankees dont win the World Series anymore...they have no chemistry. All star teams don't work in crunch time and these Yankees teams have proven it.

Remember gentlemen, the goal is to win the World Series. If you don't do that, you fail. I don't care if you're one out away and end up losing...you still fail. It doesn't matter if you get to the playoffs, if you don't win the WS...it's a wasted trip.

To add..you guys can bring up the "Well we won 26 World Series'" all you want. How many did you win this year? Because that's what matters...not last year, not 2 years ago...not 1950, not 1920, not 1918. The only thing that matters is what happened THIS SEASON.

I doubt they get rid of Torre but i think people now see why Jeter is so valuable to the yankees compared to A-rod, he shows up 165? games a year and than some. i noticed A-rod was batting 8th today, noway you should pay somebody 25 million to bat 8th in the lineup, would anyone else be suprised if they moved him?

I wouldn't be surprised. Hopefully he goes to Florida and can get Dontrelle out of the division.

I saw on ESPN that soruces tell the New York Daily News that the yankees are expected to fire torre and bring Lou Pinella.

As Smallguy said, reporters are buzzing that Toree is out and Lou Pinella is in. I wouldn't do this, not once in a life, but George has always had something for Lou and tries to keep him around. Bringing Pinella in, to me, would be a big mistake. I'd get Girardi.
But trust me, there will be some changes. Now that I think of it, the only players safe in The Boss's hands are Cano, Jeter, Posada, Damon, Abreu, and Rivera. I don't think anyone else is safe.
I'd also personally keep Matsui, Bernie (if he comes back), Wang, Melky, and even A-Rod (unless we can get a REALLY good pitcher, I'm talking like Dontrelle Willis here, as there is a report the Yankees might trade A-Rod to the Marlins after paying off most of A-Rod's salary for Willis).
This is a gurantee though, there will be changes, hopefully in the starting rotation.

not going to lie im a closet florida marlins fan and if i was the marlins GM i wouldnt trade for a-rod for caberea or willis...22? year old arguably a top 3 pitcher in a game for a 30 year old player that the team never wins that he is on.

How did Dontrelle do this year? I doubt the Yankees do a straight swap of ARod for Willis as 1.) it would cost the Marlins too much even if the Yankees do pay off a lot of his contract 2.) the Yankees, although with an endless supply of money, would be throwing millions down the drain if they paid off his deal and 3.) the Yankees have a crowded outfield to deal with and IMO it would be sensibler if they dealt an OF for a pitcher. Cabrera, Williams, Matsui, Sheffield (even though he played 1B a lot down the stretch and in the short playoffs), Damon and Abreu are all there and three (or two if one goes DH) have to stay on the bench. They are players who are too good to be riding the pine and I'm sure the Yankees could get a top of the rotation starter for one of them.

The only team that will take A-rod is the angels. If we trade A-rod to the angels we will most likely get Ervin Santana, as well as other young players, I would hope.

If A-Rod goes to the D-Rays...that will be huge. Players will start to sign with Tampa , knowing that they are on the uprise. Kinda like remember when Ivan Rodriguez signed with the Tigers who lossed 119 games the year before? Now look. Tampa Bay has a good young pitcher they can build around named Scott Kazmir, A-Rod be huge for them.

Actually, if A-Rod were to go to Tampa, that'd be big as JetsOhFive said. They got Kazmir, who looks VERy promising, and remember, Delmon Young got his first try at the majors this year and did pretty good. Plus, that would draw more butts in the seats, and that means more money, giving them more money to go and fish for someone.
