SecondHandJets Icon : (24 May 2013 - 09:25 PM) I've read a ton of articles and all had him as the favorite
SecondHandJets Icon : (24 May 2013 - 09:25 PM) Who was the favorite then?
SecondHandJets Icon : (24 May 2013 - 09:27 PM) "Smith was already going to be on most Heisman preseason lists, but a 407-yard, 6-TD performance in the Orange Bowl win over Clemson only solidified him as an elite passer. He can make every throw on the field and has a plethora of talented receivers coming back. Since this team will likely be playing in the Big 12, which has had the uncanny knack for inflating quarterback numbers recently, Smith and head coach Dana Holgorsen are going to leave opposing defenses charred and crippled on most Saturdays."
SecondHandJets Icon : (24 May 2013 - 09:27 PM) That's from a Jan 2012 article
SecondHandJets Icon : (24 May 2013 - 09:27 PM) You can google shit from 14 months ago and find a f*** ton of these

SecondHandJets Icon : (24 May 2013 - 09:32 PM) He was 4th according to Vegas odds in April 2012
Jetsman05 Icon : (24 May 2013 - 09:53 PM) 4th makes him the favorite?
Jetsman05 Icon : (24 May 2013 - 09:53 PM) you said he was the favorite
Jetsman05 Icon : (24 May 2013 - 09:53 PM) he wasn't anything near the favorite
Jetsman05 Icon : (24 May 2013 - 09:54 PM) he reached his pinnacle in the heisman race in the early part of last season
Jetsman05 Icon : (24 May 2013 - 09:54 PM) at that point he was the favorite
Jetsman05 Icon : (24 May 2013 - 09:56 PM) also, what a basketball game
MikeGangGree... Icon : (24 May 2013 - 10:21 PM) 4 point game
MikeGangGree... Icon : (24 May 2013 - 10:21 PM) maybe the pacers are that good
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 12:36 AM) I said that his time last year, he was the favorite. I misspoke. He was 3rd or 4th. He certainly wasn't "not even in the 2nd tier" like you claimed
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 12:36 AM) Take your medicine Matty
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 12:36 AM) Maybe you should watch more college football instead of talking about watching college football
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 06:46 AM) No he wasn't 3rd or 4th
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 06:47 AM) He was the 4th favorite in vegas, making him no where near the favorite
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 06:47 AM) Barkley had 3/2 odds, Geno was 9-1
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 06:48 AM) It's whatever
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 10:50 AM) Manish leaving jets beat
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 10:51 AM) About time
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 11:22 AM) Was he "not even in the 2nd tier"? No. STFU
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 11:25 AM) Was he the favorite?
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 11:26 AM) Or even close to the favorite?
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 11:27 AM) Nice Manish leaving? Good shit
HarlemHxC814 Icon : (Yesterday, 11:43 AM) SHJ, your boy EJ leads a very sad life
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 11:57 AM) haha why do you say that
HarlemHxC814 Icon : (Yesterday, 12:03 PM) I'm friends with SHJ on Facebook and I replied "TEH KNICKS" then EJ recognized my name and started commenting saying shit
HarlemHxC814 Icon : (Yesterday, 12:04 PM) He then goes "yeah and f*** the Knicks" I wanted to tell him he doesn't know what that joke is because he's banned

Nugent has turned into a good kicker, it took him a little while but he did it though that was a good kick he made today.

Thanks for the Memories

Took him a little while? What...his rookie year? That's long now for development? Since that debacle in the opening game Nugent is now...what...20 of 21? With the only miss being a 50+ yarder? Yet somehow he's only now turning into a good kicker.

Here's to Nugent...I'm happy for him...now maybe the shithead NY media and fanbase will shutup and let him play!

iagree.gif People shouldn't of got on him like that after his rookie season. He's made some long kicks this year and is on a good streak right now and hopefully keeps it up.

Even though it wasn't a long kick, it was a big kick and Mike Nugent put it right down the middle to win us the game.

GREAT JOB NUGENT!!

I 2nd that Hurricane... alot of people were too quick to judge Nugent, not allowing him to adjust. This is the clutch kicker we knew we were getting. He's awesome. Not only that but he picked that ball up and ran with it to try and make something happen while getting hit pretty hard. Other kickers just give up, he actually tried to advance it.

I really do think I trust Nugent now. What a team. I'm so damn hyped up right now I can't go to bed anytime soon.

Oh God there is no reasoning with you. You are just determined to be unhappy.

Then again everything you say ends up being wrong anyway so it doesn't really matter.

I said something about peace yeah, but what is the title of this thread? It has nothing to do with Pennington. The thread is about Nugent, If I wanted to say something about Pennington tonight I would go to a Pennington thread. You're really starting to bore me, you're not even challenging anymore.

i still want him to kick a couple out the endzone. The Dolphins neutralized Miller by sending it out the back of the endzone last night. game winners are always great though.

Actually I thought he had a couple nice kickoffs...they were atleast into the endzone and not his usual "land at the 15" variety...he may not have been kicking them outta the endzone...but he'll get better.

lol everything I say ends up being wrong? Why? Because the vast majority of this site has the back of their throats firmly attached to Chad's meat? If you think you're opinion is the only one that counts the you need to seriously get over yourself.

Nugent has to to keep this streak alive and keep making the important kicks and the majority of the 45+ yard kicks.

He's showing signs that he can live up to the billing but he hasn't really proved he was worth a 2nd rounder yet still.
