i think their should be, because if u dont u will always have contraversies, like this year, over who should be in the championship game. well USC proved michigan didnt deserve it and florida obviously proved they deserved to be in it, but if USC domanated michigan in the way they did, maybe does that mean USC should had deserved a national title game berth?

Or Boise State. They didn't deserve it because they were in a shit conference and played no one dispite going undefeated. Then they beat a big time team, and ended up being the only undefeated team in 1-A football.

It can work. Have a 16 team tournament or something. 4 rounds over 4 week. Right there thats 15 bowl games. Then if the NCAA is still greedy and want more money, they have the 'What's The Point' Bowl and the "I Don't Care' Bowl during the week while the national championship picture is taking place with the playoffs.

let me take that back, yea it could potentially workout, there would be no lay away of a month or 2 for the games though im guessing unless they want the championship to be in like march.
