Wembley gets nod to host NFL game
I don't care that it's Miami playing, I'm going to do as much as I can to get tickets for this because there aren't many opportunities for me, and other British NFL fans, to go to an actual game without shelling out loads and taking a multiple day trip to the States.

I think it's crap...no offense to any UK fans. But it simply isn't fair to the "home" team. If the NFL is going to do this they have to make every team lose a home game to this. Every team has to go over seas or no team goes overseas.
I agree it's unfair on the home team and understand where you're coming from there but I read a while back the NFL are planning on having two overseas regular season games a year and over a 16 year period every team will have been involved and given up a home game.

I think this is a bad idea, Mexico is ok but all the way in London thats ridiculous. The players won't play as well as they can do the jet lag and different time zones.
A flight to London is basically the same as going from New York to LA in terms of flight time. Yeah the time difference is different as London is 5 hours (I think) ahead of the eastern time zone. The NFL want to try fix it so the game is before a bye week too to let them get over the jet lag.

In response to the "every team losing a home game" ....it's ok i guess for the likes of Arizona or Detroit
How do you think the fans in Green Bay would react to losing a game ?
More importantly though...if this game IS to be the Fins vs Giants...who the f*** am I gonna cheer for??
I'll be there in all my best Jets gear...praying for a tie.

lol Mexico was ridiculous. The game was played at the Azteca where the altitude is so ridiculously high it fucks with things.
