Today is the deadline and he hasn't declared yet? If he doesn't go this absolutely rocks the draft boards. Everything that everyone has been thinking about the draft for the past year suddenly goes bunk. It basically means we have absolutely no shot at Marshawn Lynch anymore.
What do you guys think? Does he stay and go for one more shot at a Heisman and a Championship? Or does he go pro?
I think he would be ridiculous to stay...he takes too many carries and gets beat up too much to risk staying. If he ends up getting injured again or just simply gets more miles on his legs...teams are likely to really drop him on their boards. I'm never one to question a guy for returning for his senior year...but Peterson really needs to go...he just gets run into the ground to hard by Oklahoma...it's just better for his future health and career.

Hurricane what's your take on Antonio Pittman of OSU who just declared for the draft? If we can't get Peterson or Lynch would he be available to us in the 2nd? Also how does he compare to Michael Bush?
His stats seem good - averaging over 5 yards per carry and he impressed me in the couple Ohio State games I was able to see. At 195 lbs he seems a little undersized but would he be worth a look?

Pittman should of stayed at Ohio st. He's not even in the top 3 RBs in the draft. He's banking on the Ohio st success. He's no AP or Lynch or Bush. If I was him I would stay in school and get a shot at Being a #1 RB next year. I put Lorenzo Booker ahead of him.
