Offensive Line!!

This has to be a huge priority again this offseason. Our right side needs to be upgraded. Against the Pats the offensive line was pushed around and were dominated, they did some good things but the first half was a mess. Brick and Mangold were a good start, but we need to continue building the line with some more guys. We need a OT and a OG. I think if we sign Eric Steinbach, that would be a good move, it would give us a good young player for OG. He can play OT too. If we do end up doing that, then maybe we can draft a RT and resign Clements and have Clements start for another season with a rookie RT under him. We would also need a replacement for Kendall who is getting old, he probaly has one more year in him then we need a new starter there.
Hopefully Brick gains some weight, and has a better 2nd year and does a good job. Hopefully we upgrade the line a little bit more and then we have a great offensive line next year instead of just a good line this year.
Also has anyone relised how much it hurt us by not resigning Mckenzie, he was a dominate run blocker for us. I really wish we resigned him, I guarentee if Mr.T and Mangini were the head guys then we would of resigned him.

how about letting ferguson go also....itd be nice to have him right now
Yea but I am talking about offensive line right now, but you are right Jason Ferguson has been awesome all year at NT for the Cowboys. I hate them for taking him from us!

I agree that the right side of the o line really needs to be upgraded. Clement had an ok year, but is by no means a long term solution. I've stated several times that I've never really been a big fan of Brandon Moore. It would be great if they could get Eric Steinbach but I'm not sure if he's gonna leave Cincy. The offensive line is so important in football. The reason the Jets were so inconsistent in the running game is because a lot of the time, the o line just wasn't opening up any holes for the running backs. This put more pressure on Chad and contributed to his career high 17 INTs. Hopefully the running game will improve next year. That will make things a lot easier on Chad.
And it would be really nice if they still had McKenzie or Jason Ferguson.

i know this an o-line convo just stating some recent FA we let get away that would really fit our systems now.....ive been thinking about this alot...i know everyone wants a top RB this offseason, but I really sometimes questione how necessary it is....i mean look at denver, kc, pitt, etc....but especially denver....when you have a killer o-line it alsmost doesnt matter who is back there...i mean mike bell, tatum bell, portis, davis, it has never mattered who is back there.....for this reason i am inclined to hope for michael bush in the 2nd or even a sleeper later....thoughts?

FINALLY!!!! A REAL BIG BOY!!!

The Giants way overpaid for McKenzie; I was glad we didn't get stuck with that contract. Tangini would never pay that kind of $ for a decent guard. I would love to get Steinbach, he has the versatility we need.
