ganggreen2003 Icon : (15 February 2015 - 11:23 PM) Babin being brought back isn't a big deal but Pace really?
azjetfan Icon : (16 February 2015 - 12:43 AM) There is no guarantee either will be on the roster opening day. This gives the Jets the most options in FA and the draft. For once I would love to see Jet fans not jump before the need
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (16 February 2015 - 12:39 PM) I'd cut Pace, we easily can upgrade over him in FA
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (16 February 2015 - 12:40 PM) Babin I'd keep , he had more QB pressures in way less snaps than Pace. And is cheap.
MikeGangGree... Icon : (17 February 2015 - 11:27 PM) its time to bring this back..........

Jetsfan0099 Icon : (19 February 2015 - 12:28 PM) Reports say Jets to go hard after CJ Spiller. Bring him aboard, he'll be a good signing. Was a stud in Chan's offense and RBs don't cost much
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (20 February 2015 - 12:09 PM) Saw that the Bills are meeting with Spiller and may sign him before FA.
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (20 February 2015 - 12:10 PM) if that happens, I think the Jets should go after Shane Vereen. Nice pass catching option out of the backfield, only 25.
Smedsthejet Icon : (20 February 2015 - 04:06 PM) Think Vereen would be a great option...I thought he was one of their best and most valuable performers during the playoffs and we need a back who can contribute in the passing game as well. Jets have been missing that piece since LT retired

Jetsfan0099 Icon : (25 February 2015 - 07:29 PM) The Packers had the cap space to lock up Cobb regardless
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (25 February 2015 - 07:30 PM) But Bryan Bulaga is also a FA< so they have 2 important guys to re-sign. I think the OT is more important for Rodgers

Hey Vandelay, are you a Penn Stater? Or do you just think Tony Hunt is legit?
On another note, I think we should just keep Leon and Cedric, cut Barlow, then draft a running back, like that dude from N.Illinois. Im telling you he's gonna be a monster...or yea, Tony Hunt, he's great.

Both. Hunt was just a thought because I've seen a lot of him. I don't think it HAS to be hunt, he's just a guy who should go in the 3rd to 4th round, which is where I would like them to take a RB. I know they don't have a 4th rounder, but who knows what will happen between now and the draft. Hunt does look like he could be a beast though. Just ask HermIsMyHero...

Swissle wats with u and Penn state players. Theres not that many good this year. You keep on saying Paul Pos. is good for this team but he's not. Tony Hunts not that good and he'd only split carries and thats not the answer to our problem. The only good player coming out of Penn state this year that would fit our team is Levi Brown.

Pos is just good. He wont the Bednarik twice and the Butkiss (haha sp?) once last year over everyone's sweetheart I heard nothing about all year A.J. Hawk. And this year he was coming off serious knee surgery AND out of position (sound familiar? Vilma?) yet we know Vilma is still greatly talented. Paul is a 4-3 outside linebacker, which would not really suite us, that is true, however in a 3-4 he would be much better than Victor Hobson and most likely better than Eric Barton if they played him inside. So please don't he's not good for our team when that's not true.

I don't think we will draft him but having a guy like that with his intangibles would be amazing (plus easier to follow his career from my perspective). Just wanted to make it clear about Posluzny.

Also unless you've watched him play don't say Tony Hunt is no good. I'm telling you as an educated football fan and a fan of both Curtis Martin and Tony Hunt, Tony Hunt is the Curtis Martin clone. As soon as I find video footage of Hunt (probably close to draft time) I will post it so you can see for yourself just how much he reminds people of Curtis Martin.
I changed my name, but I dont remember what it was... if anyone remembers please let me know.

Yea I'm a Penn Stater...guilty as charged. But I mean, I just claim Paul Puz because I got see him play for 3 years and the dude was just rediculous. I would love for him to bring that talent to the Jets because I do feel that he is better than Hobson on the outside, or even Barton on the inside.

Tony Hunt, I think is worth a 4th rounder definetly. I mean he's another guy that I got to see for years. Curtis Martin clone? Ehhh, I wouldn't go that far just yet. But the dude is a powerful runner inside the tackles and I've seen him break a many a run to the house. I'd take him and Leon in the backfield...oh yea. beach.gif
