azjetfan Icon : (14 April 2014 - 03:44 PM) 18. New York Jets -- Bradley Roby, CB, Ohio State: Surprised? Yes, the Jets need a receiver, but it's the deepest receiver draft in years, and they can find a good one in the second round. This would mark the fifth straight year with a defensive pick in Round 1.
Chaos Icon : (14 April 2014 - 03:51 PM) is he better than Gilbert, Dennard, and Fuller?

Chris Johnson’s visit with #Jets today went well, from what it sounded like. It’s over now. Nothing final yet, other teams still circling
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 08:25 PM) I think he's just stating the obvious but whatever it's an update

Will the saints maintain two good running backs or will they look to move one? i believe Deuce will roll before Bush and i would love to have him along with Washington. We could trade Houston and Barlow for Deuce.

This isn't Madden...no way the Saints trade one great RB for two mediocre RB's...it doesn't work that way.

Plus...Reggie and Deuce compliment eachother so well it should be a crime. Reggie needs that power back and Deuce is probably the best North-South runner in the league.

agreed. i think we need bush to compliment washington. bush/washington would be our thunder and lightning combo.

No way do the Saints give up their TD machine. They need him to complement Bush as Bush isn't going to last if he has to carry the load on top of being the Saints leading receiver. The tandem worked great for them this year so why would they think of breaking it up?

I don't think Deuce is doable....but I think Thomas Jones or Cedric Benson can be had. I also think LaMont Jordan might be a cap casualty. Wouldn't that be a nice pickup?
This team gives me gray hairs, but I love them none the less.

saying cedric benson can be had is like saying cadillac williams or ronnie brown can be had. all three were top 5 OVERALL pick a couple of years ago. not only are their contracts not up, why the hell would their teams who thought they were so good to draft that high, trade them when they were RFA?? they would obviously put the highest tender on them and why would we give them a 1st, and 3rd rounder, along with the high salary?? please think about this stuff before typing in here.

and no to lamont and jones. we are a young team, have a young coach and GM. we are building a team with the youth movement. no way we pick up someone elses trash when they are already past their prime.

It's not out of the question that Chicago will be looking to deal Benson. I think they should deal one of them. Jones has proved he can be a 300+ carry back for 1200+ yards. Plus Benson is starting to become a pain in the ass in the locker room. Then again, that might dissaude Tangini from going after him, what with their emphasis on character.

no everyone has been saying, all the analyst throughout the playoffs that Benson has become the better back at this point and that chicago needs to make him the no.1 guy if they want to win the superbowl........Thomas Jones is good but he is old for a RB and RB have the shortest careers of any position in the NFL.....Jones most likely will be cut after the season
