Jetsman05 Icon : (18 September 2014 - 06:58 PM) watching Kansas State shoot themselves
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (18 September 2014 - 07:04 PM) FIRE IDZIK
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (18 September 2014 - 08:35 PM) Should have signed Hester.
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (18 September 2014 - 08:36 PM) this game might be the worst game I have ever watched, pretty pathetic.
azjetfan Icon : (18 September 2014 - 09:31 PM) With our complete disaster of a secondary I am a little surprised we have not either signed a guy like Samuel or made a trade
azjetfan Icon : (19 September 2014 - 04:06 PM) Milliner also has a quad now. It really makes sense just to sit him until he is 100%. Lets get healthy instead of risking injury or letting Marshal go 80 for a TD.
azjetfan Icon : (20 September 2014 - 03:53 PM) Looks like Milliner will sit this week. Has not practiced this week.
santana Icon : (20 September 2014 - 04:20 PM) WOO! Real! 8-2 shooting practice
santana Icon : (20 September 2014 - 04:21 PM) boo Liverpool
santana Icon : (20 September 2014 - 04:21 PM) FIRE RAUL!
santana Icon : (20 September 2014 - 04:21 PM) idzik for admin! Milber for moderator!

HarlemHxC814 Icon : (Yesterday, 05:14 AM) RIP Rob Bironas
Canuck Jet Icon : (Yesterday, 08:02 AM) Could some enlightened person explain why our secondary is such a mess despite tons of cap space? It's a passing league, better fix that soon or we'll see the Packers game all season.
greenandwhit... Icon : (Yesterday, 10:21 AM) Grew up watching bironas... Good kicker RIP.
greenandwhit... Icon : (Yesterday, 10:30 AM) Well as one aspiring to be an analyst on football i would say it's because we're trying to save up to makes some big moves next year. If you look at next year's potential free agents they're top of the line. If Ryan and Idznik can keep that cap room... Some great things can happen defensively.
greenandwhit... Icon : (Yesterday, 10:30 AM) and offensively as well.
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 01:32 PM) Dude bironas was solid that really sucks
Jetsfan115 Icon : (Yesterday, 02:30 PM) Sunday kinda sucks without jets football
ganggreen2003 Icon : (Yesterday, 04:50 PM) So who's having JETS withdrawls?
ganggreen2003 Icon : (Yesterday, 04:50 PM) I didn't even watch any 1pm games cause all they had were the CHEATriots on
ganggreen2003 Icon : (Yesterday, 04:50 PM) now I'm flipping between the Den/Sea and the Az/SF games
ganggreen2003 Icon : (Yesterday, 04:51 PM) http://cdn.nextimpul...lbergstoned.gif
ganggreen2003 Icon : (Yesterday, 04:52 PM) HILARIOUS!!!!
ganggreen2003 Icon : (Yesterday, 04:56 PM) kraft is a pathetic troll
ganggreen2003 Icon : (Yesterday, 04:56 PM) and even a "fan" of the CHEATriots doesn't even give him any attention
ganggreen2003 Icon : (Yesterday, 07:28 PM) I still can't believe we lost to the packers and they go and lose to Detroit
ganggreen2003 Icon : (Yesterday, 07:28 PM) we lost that game they didn't beat us
ganggreen2003 Icon : (Yesterday, 07:55 PM) I really hope Decker is able to play tomorrow
ganggreen2003 Icon : (Yesterday, 07:55 PM) but without risking further injury cause we are going to need him later in the season
ganggreen2003 Icon : (Yesterday, 07:56 PM) and our running game better go off tomorrow night
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 08:51 PM) some good games today
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 08:51 PM) manning 4th quarter drive was pretty sick
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 08:52 PM) so was russels OT drive
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 08:52 PM) cousins looks legit for the skins
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 08:52 PM) eagles another 4th quarter come back they seem really well conditioned
santana Icon : (Today, 09:58 AM) So will our corners hold up tonight
Jetsfan115 Icon : (Today, 10:21 AM) we might be lucky cause both marshall and jeffrey are banged up. holmes might hurt us though
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 11:20 AM) gameday
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 11:20 AM) finally can watch a game live, pumped
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 11:21 AM) We have to get pressure on Cutler, force him into mistakes. Last time we played the Bears I remember Cutler torched us a bit because we gave him all day to throw.
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 11:21 AM) Hopefully Geno plays a great game tonight, the Bears defense isn't good.
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 11:58 AM) Looks like Milber won't play tonight
Chaos Icon : (Today, 12:25 PM) Milliner's injuries are starting to get annoying
Chaos Icon : (Today, 12:26 PM) Jets D-line needs to wreck havoc on Cutler. if he gets time to pass, Jets won't be able to keep up

SENIOR BOWL WEIGH INS: Just talked to one of my contacts at the Senior Bowl and he was there for the weigh ins for the North team roster. Among the more impressive looking players was Louisville DT Amobi Okoye. Checking in at 6'2" 287 he's likely more of a three-technique tackle than a nose tackle, but he's apparently built like a rock. Plus he's just 19 years old, so I'm going to guess he could fill out some more as he gets older.

Among the other North players who passed the eyeball test were Penn State LB Paul Pozluszny and RB Tony Hunt. Hunt was over 6'1" and a solidly put together 239. Pozluszny meanwhile has added muscle and checked in at 237. Wake Forest S Josh Gattis, Syracuse CB Tanard Jackson, Pitt LB H.B. Blades, Nebraska LB Stewart Bradley and DE Jay Moore, Michigan LB Prescott Burgess, Fresno St. CB Marcus McCauley were among the most fit looking players.

Once Okoye dropped the weight he became a dominator, he is no NT.

He doesn't want to be a space eater he wants 3 technique tackle money

It does mean something. He was 320 before the college season I'm pretty sure and he's dropped 40lbs. That's crazy. It's obvious he want's to get DT or DE money.

He was probly never as high as 320, they list people bigger than they are all the time. Either way he is not the answer at NT.

The highest I seen Okoye weight is 317. Ferguson dropped like 30 pounds during the season, he weighed in at 313 then went to under 290.
Okoy probaly just dropped some weight, but he will be best served to gain some weight, because he is a natural NT. The way he plays is by taking blockers on and not being pushed. He is a NT, he would be the NT for the 4-3 also.

Right, and when Brick lost that weight he started getting thrown around like a rag doll. Okoye is young, so he will put on weight as he gets older, but if he can't keep weight on during the season that is absolutely a cause for concern.

Alot of people have trouble keeping the weight during the season. Its something alot of the younger players usually have more trouble with. Okoye also could of lost weight to kind of look in better shape to put his draft stock up, Idk.......

Okoye lost the weight during the season, he played most of the season in the 290 area and thats why he was so good this year. With his weight loss he became a lot quicker and looked more natural at that weight. Okoye is not a NT, he is a good penetrator that is also good in the run game. I think a good comparison for him is Anthony McFarland.

Guys...Okoye dropped the weight on purpose because of the role he was playing in the defensive scheme. This isn't new info...we knew this...he can gain the weight if need be. He is a natural space eater and 2 gap defensive linemen...he isn't trying to be something else.

Yea its been like that for the last 2 to 3 years that I can remember, but this year everything is going over to NFL network, which is gay because College football isnt NFL technically..... Plus Cable is being gay and wont get NFL Network. NFL network, stole the Rutgers game too....... I couldnt get to see them play in the bowl game because of that shit..

Thats what I thought, all of his scouting reports say he is a good fit for a 3-4 NT.

that pisses me off! if i interperted this right which i believe i did, that means the practices r not on ESPN any more and on NFL Network, which even if i would pay the money i cant cause i got digital cable blowup.gif
