Jets 0-2 vs bills this year. Does Rex Ryan survive the year?
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (26 November 2014 - 08:55 AM) Like how do you get blown out by a team that didn't practice while you had 2 weeks to prepare?
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (26 November 2014 - 08:55 AM) That kind of stuff may force Woody to make the big changes and fire everyone
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (26 November 2014 - 08:55 AM) John Idzik has handled the QB situation terribly. 2 times he pretty much handed the job to his draft pick
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (26 November 2014 - 08:56 AM) Besides Sheldon Richardson, his drafts have been awful.
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (26 November 2014 - 08:57 AM) Maybe Woody will clean house and go all out for Jim Harbaugh, that probably won't happen though but it would be a franchise changer.
HarlemHxC814 Icon : (26 November 2014 - 10:07 AM) Harbaugh would be amazing...but because it makes sense it won't be done
HarlemHxC814 Icon : (26 November 2014 - 10:51 AM) According to Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News, the Jets blocked coach Rex Ryan from talking to Mehta about a bye-week visit to his ailing father, legendary NFL defensive guru Buddy Ryan. Buddy, who rose to prominence as defensive coordinator of the ’85 Bears and then coached the Eagles and Cardinals, is battling cancer.
HarlemHxC814 Icon : (26 November 2014 - 10:52 AM) Mehta interprets the muzzling of Rex Ryan as proof positive that, once the season ends, Ryan will no longer be the team’s head coach. Apparently, the team fears that Rex would become more sympathetic in the eyes of the fan base if he’s dumped by the team at a time when his father is fighting a serious illness.
santana Icon : (26 November 2014 - 11:05 AM) Mehta is an idiot
santana Icon : (26 November 2014 - 11:25 AM) If colt McCoy lights it up do the jets make a move?
HarlemHxC814 Icon : (26 November 2014 - 11:27 AM) I don't even care what they do for a while
HarlemHxC814 Icon : (26 November 2014 - 11:28 AM) The team is a catastrophe
santana Icon : (26 November 2014 - 11:29 AM) I didn't see the game
santana Icon : (26 November 2014 - 11:29 AM) I remember the first bills game though I'm guessing it was like that with more sleeping in the end zone
HarlemHxC814 Icon : (26 November 2014 - 11:32 AM) I'm with 0099...I hope they keep getting destroyed
Chaos Icon : (26 November 2014 - 11:33 AM) it's a very Jets-esque move to sign McCoy if he does well
HarlemHxC814 Icon : (26 November 2014 - 11:53 AM) I think they sign RGIII, Cutler, or Bradford
santana Icon : (26 November 2014 - 12:10 PM) why not all three
HarlemHxC814 Icon : (26 November 2014 - 12:11 PM) Knowing this team, I wouldn't put that past them
HarlemHxC814 Icon : (26 November 2014 - 02:07 PM) RAUL FOR QB
santana Icon : (26 November 2014 - 02:10 PM) the only real choice
santana Icon : (26 November 2014 - 02:10 PM) almost uefa time
HarlemHxC814 Icon : (26 November 2014 - 02:11 PM) RAUL>SMITHSIAH, JUST ACCEPT IT

Chaos Icon : (Yesterday, 11:14 AM) happy thanksgiving everyone!
ganggreen2003 Icon : (Yesterday, 04:53 PM) I hope Dirty Sanchez gets beat by the Cowgirls even though I would prefer to see a tie so neither team wins
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 05:00 PM) Look at what a great system can do for a QB, Sanchez looks like a different QB with the Eagles.
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 05:00 PM) Scanning the field and making quick decisions, I like how Chip has Sanchez throwing on the run which he was always great at.
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 05:01 PM) I really hope we finally bring in a good offensive minded coach.
HarlemHxC814 Icon : (Yesterday, 05:45 PM) I really can't wait for this season to be done and over with

I would absolutely love that draft! If we landed Jarvis Moss, Bush, and Leonard, I would go insane on draft day!! We get a possible premeir pass rusher, a big redzone back in Bush. We also get a player that I am dieing to get, Brian Leonard! He would be a beast at FB for us! Since both our FBs are UFAs, we could end up getting him, he is the type of player you want to bring to a team like ours. He is a hard worker, leader, and brings a attitude to work hard to win! Hes a player that alot of teams would want, and I will have no problem taking him there. Bush is a guy, that we can split carries with Washington. With Moss though, we can use him on passing downs at first, to get him use to the defense and shit, and we can use Hobson to start there at the beginning, then next year move Hobson inside and let Barton go, then start Moss.

I would also be joyous if thats how the draft went down. Most definitely the ideal draft for us, even if I do lose the bet.

Michael Bush+Leon Washington would be straight up ridiculous

first of all, i didnt know you made this up yourself so i didn't write it with the intention of attacking you. BUT if you want to call names, so be it. secondly, maybe you should look over what you type especially a mock draft. how the hell can ppl take you seriously if you have teams picking 2 guys twice?? its not like its even a full 7 round mock. its 2 rounds and you make 4 mistakes. 4/64.. good work. next time read over your post so you dont take my sarcasm the wrong way by calling me a smart ass when you are in fact, the DUMBASS.

I don't see why it isin't possible, especially if we only re-sign one of our two current fullbacks (Hodgins and Askew), I'd prefer Hodgins if we decided to keep one of them. Which is why I believe that picking Leonard with our second 2nd round pick is possible. We could use Hodgins because he's a good blocker, and Askew is not. Then we could use Leonard as like our 3rd running back, we could probably also use an I-formation with Leonard, Bush, and Washington. With our 3rd round pick, I would either want us to take a CB, DE, or WR. Maybe Steve Smith in the 3rd round, if he's still on the board, but I doubt it.

good mock draft...not to bad. I like the picks you made for the jets as well and is more then possible. Although if greg olson or zach miller are around i wouldnt mind picking up one of them. I really want a play making tight end....

I just don't like the idea of getting a tight end with our first second round pick. I rather try to get the guy from miami with our second 2nd round, but I don't think he'll be around by then. Lets just say he is around then, the draft could look like:

1: Jarvis Moss
2a: Zach Miller
2b: Kenny Irons

I think it's safe to say that none of us really want Irons. Or maybe:

1: Moss
2: Bush
3: Olsen

That draft is a little better, in my opinion, but for some reason I dont think either tight end will be still on the board by the time of our second 2nd round pick.

It all depends on our offseason moves. I mean for all we know we are going to sign a RB rather then draft one. I mean i know th e purpose of a mock draft but dammit...i want a TE. I mean look how much a good TE helps out your offense (D. clark, T. gonzalas, Witten, Gates and the list goes on) . I like baker but it just seems like pennington can never find him open until we really really need him. I like the fact that he has been clutch on a few occasion in the recieving department but besides that he dosent do much to get open. and greg olson i think will be a good TE. I mean he is a miami TE and if you look at recent history they play well in the pros....But i wouldnt be upset at all if we got moss, bush and lenord...would be a good draft but moss, bush and olson (maybe he will drop?) would be amazing in my eyes...

I don't think were going to sign Michael Turner, because the Chargers put the 1st round label on the guy. The only guy I think thats worth going after is probably Lamont Jordan if the Raiders let him go. If we do sign Jordan, then I would say take Moss in the first round, and possibly Miller with our first second rounder, and Leonard with our 2nd second rounder. To be honest though. I like Baker as well, and would like to see him get more throws thrown his way. I would also like us to look at a wide reciever at the 3rd round, possibly Dallas Baker, or Steve Smith. So if the draft went something along the lines of this:

1st: Jarvis Moss
2nd: Michael Bush
2nd: Brian Leonard/Greg Olsen
3rd: Steve Smith/Dallas Baker

If those are possible players we take with our pick, i'd be thrilled. Also, take notice I didn't put really any defensive players on their for the exception for Jarvis Moss. I'm taking note that we could be going after Asante Samuel, Banta-Cain, Terrell Sands. If we go after those guys in free agency that would open the door for something like I just posted above.
