Jetsfan0099 Icon : (30 September 2014 - 08:14 AM) The chargers are going to be tough
Jetsfan115 Icon : (30 September 2014 - 10:22 AM) well there is a silver lining to this season, tom brady sucks and so do the pats
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (30 September 2014 - 11:48 AM) Jets sign John Conner back, with Bohannon injured at FB
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (30 September 2014 - 11:49 AM) that is why they should consider starting Vick, they could compete for the divsion with solid QB play. Can Rex really afford to sit there waiting for things to click with Geno while he keeps throwing INTs?
Jetsfan115 Icon : (30 September 2014 - 12:26 PM) i didn't even notive bohannon was hurt
Jetsfan115 Icon : (30 September 2014 - 12:28 PM) vick gives us a chance to win now, geno can still learn as a backup
santana Icon : (30 September 2014 - 01:28 PM) I miss T Bo already
ganggreen2003 Icon : (30 September 2014 - 02:35 PM) The raiders are a dumpster fire
ganggreen2003 Icon : (30 September 2014 - 02:36 PM) they are naming Tony Sparano yes that Tony Sparano formally the OC of the NYJ and the wildcat whacko from Miami is the new interim HC for the Oakland Gayders
ganggreen2003 Icon : (30 September 2014 - 02:39 PM) well good thing we got rid of LaRon Landry since he just got suspended for PED's
Jetsfan115 Icon : (30 September 2014 - 03:08 PM) i'm not suprised. that guy looked like he was on roids
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (30 September 2014 - 06:10 PM) FIRE IDZIK
Chaos Icon : (Yesterday, 09:37 AM) fantasy help - Rivers and DJax for Dez and Tannehill? i'll be getting dez and tannehill. i'm the one proposing the trade.
Chaos Icon : (Yesterday, 09:41 AM) i have brees starting. they have eli.
2JBallar01 Icon : (Yesterday, 05:53 PM) I would do that trade. Djax has been horrible and with you having Brees as your starter, i would totally do that trade
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 08:57 PM) START VICK
RetireChrebet Icon : (Yesterday, 08:59 PM) If that guy gives up dez for rivers and Jackson he's an idiot
RetireChrebet Icon : (Yesterday, 09:00 PM) I just traded dez and Steve smith for AJ green, Reggie Wayne, golden Tate and Stevan Ridley and I feel like I made a bad choice.
Chaos Icon : (Yesterday, 10:02 PM) they have no QB. 1-3 with eli/tannehill as your starter? i need another WR or RB to strengthen my team and Rivers is my best sell.
Chaos Icon : (Yesterday, 10:03 PM) kinda hoping to use the desperation to shore up my team

RB is weak right now. people forgte that 2 year ago RBs were veerywhere. there were 3 top 5 picks in the draft that were RBS and edge and alexander were free agents. now there are 2 1st round RBs in the draft and no good UFAs. the best one is probably chris brown which is pretty sad. and we won't be able to get lynch or peterson unless we trade up. so if we can't draft and every down back, we know we neeed one. there are none in free agency. why not give up a 1st for him?

espicially if we get an OLB and NT in free agency

Just because there are not a lot of options is no reason to force a decision. That's like picking a guy way too early in the draft just because he plays a position you need. It's not like this is the last year they're going to be able to get a RB. As I have said many times, I would have no problem with Leon and Houston being the starters next year. If they do decide to give up the first for Turner, I would hope it's because they think he is worth it, not just because they need a RB. If they do stick with Leon and Houston and they don't pan out, they could always get a RB next offseason. Personally, I think the o line needs more help. If they could sign Leonard Davis to play RT, that would immediately improve their running game. They could also be looking to draft a guard on the first day.

I don't know what you're pointing to saying they are similiar...but I don't see any similiarities...other than possible draft spots.

Michael Bush is 6'3"...
Maurice Drew is 5'7"...

Michael Bush is injured...
Maurice Drew had a killer final season...

Michael Bush is a big, slow guy...
Marice Drew is a burner with power...
I just don't see the comparisons...

Micheal Bush is far from slow.. He has GREAT speed especially for his size.. He's great at catching the ball out of the backfield, good blocker and picks up blitzes, has the speed to turn the corner on the outside run, has the size and strength to plow through defenders, and hes great route runner for a RB which gives you the option of setting him up in the slot where he would create major mismatches.. He was considered an elite prospect before his injury and some even thought he was the best RB prospect for 2007 ( including A.Peterson).. He suffered a broken tibula which shouldnt affect his game at all.. Consider it a gift in disguise.. He's the real deal.. We can either take him with our late 1st or hope he falls to our early 2nd.. Louisville has him listed at 6'3 but I think he might be a little bit shorter than that.. 6'1-6'2..

The Bush/Drew comparison wasn't a good one.. Bush is light years ahead of drew in potential and talent.

i dunno i like our backfield as is and teams just seem to be willing to help the chargers these days they'll probably draft another great one in the 1st while losing a backup RB
