ROBJETS Icon : (24 December 2014 - 12:41 AM) And speaking of no salary cap that`s why the Yankees are the 4th richest team in all of pro sports in the world so they can buy any player they want with no salary cap in place. The other top three richest teams are European soccer teams

Take a look at this mock

How would u guys feel with drafting Jarvis Moss? He could go to OLB to occasional and be a Bryon Thomas player. O think its either him or Carriker in the first for us. Carriker is probably a better DE but having the versitility to be an OLB is what makes Moss a good pick. Besides Carriker the way he has been performing senior week has improved his stock to above our pick.

With Bush we all know if he can be great after his injury would be a great pick and would share with Leon to make our backfield complete

Josh Beekman is great value at our other 2nd rounder. He will strengthen the right side in both pass protection and run blocking

so...if we went by that policy then the heisman wouldnt mean as much, i mean i know he had a horrible game against miami but thats one game, he still did good against michigan and other top teams, what happened to brady quinn against top teams like michigan and LSU

the problem with jason white was by the time he enetered the dratf his knees were so bad he wen't undrafted. he tried out with the titans but his knees wouldn't let him play. had he not had the knee injury things would ahve been different and he would have been a 2 time hiesman winner

No his arms are too short for tackle...Beekman is strictly a guard in my eyes.

That being said I think it's a good pick at our 2b...

i think there is a really goood chance we draft a lineman with one of our first three picks if we dont sign someone in free agency. The line held up in pass protection but was pretty poor in run blocking, I would like that pick.

The Heisman is just for the best college player. Being the best college player has nothing to do with being a good NFL prospect. Look at Eric Crouch. He "retired" before he ever played a game. I'm not exactly sure how you can do that, but he did.

You seriously want that guy? He's horriable. I would rather want us to go after Chris Leak, and i've always bashed the guy until now. Did you even watch the National Championship? What the hell were his stats? It's obvious from that performance that I'd rather us draft Chris Leak in the 4th or 5th round than waste a pick on Troy Smith in the 2nd round.

Well...in our defense they have different positions...

Carriker would be a DE...

And Moss would be an OLB...

So...I can't really answer the question...but I would have led towards Moss before the Senior Bowl...but he looked really good in practice. I didn't see the game itself...how did he do there? Anyone?

I would love to get Moss, Carriker and Beekman. If we did, that be a amazing draft in my eyes! I really like Beekman, I think that he is going to be a above average starter. Carriker is a monster! After watching him today, I really want to see this guy be our 1st round pick. I doubt he falls to us, the guy couldnt be blocked today. He is just so big and athletic, he has to be our 1st round pick if hes available.
If not and Moss is there, then we take him.

Carriker and Moss could potentially both be gone before we pick, we're could be able to get a combination of Carriker and Woodley or Moss and Bemane if we're lucky and possibly Beekman as well. Right now I'd take Moss over Carriker as we need a pass rush threat on the opposite side of Thomas which will help the secondary out as the QB will be under less pressure. The NE showed that we need to put more pressure on the opposing QB as even when we rushed 6 men NE were able to pick the blitz up and give Brady time. With Moss it would give us a solid speed threat on the outside who could push Hobson to where he is best suited, as an inside LBer.
