Jetsfan115 Icon : (16 April 2014 - 03:33 PM) so i bet powell barely gets any touches this year and goodson gets cut
azjetfan Icon : (16 April 2014 - 03:34 PM) Goodson is as good as gone.
azjetfan Icon : (16 April 2014 - 03:34 PM) With all his legal issues and coming off injury he is done. Possibly even in the NFL
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (16 April 2014 - 03:39 PM) Powell is average anyways.

Per source, Chris Johnson's two-year deal has a base value of $8 million, with another $1 million available in incentives based on yardage.
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (16 April 2014 - 03:40 PM) He does a lot of things well, but isn't talented enough. Johnson has breakaway ability still and Ivory is man beast running the football
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (16 April 2014 - 03:41 PM) We will get another WR in the draft. Even in round 2 you can get a starting WR
azjetfan Icon : (16 April 2014 - 04:09 PM) I am still standing by my CB in the first round and WR in the second prediction
santana Icon : (16 April 2014 - 05:19 PM) The title race is bale
azjetfan Icon : (16 April 2014 - 05:34 PM) Sidney rice coming in for a visit
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (16 April 2014 - 05:49 PM) I think the Jets are getting themselves ready to draft best player available
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (16 April 2014 - 05:49 PM) Last year they stuck to their board
HarlemHxC814 Icon : (16 April 2014 - 06:27 PM) if they sign him I think that means they look to take a CB round 1
2JBallar01 Icon : (16 April 2014 - 06:32 PM) “@AdamSchefter: RB Chris Johnson's 2-year deal with Jets has a team option in it for year two. Jets have option to pick up year two at $4M in February 2015.”
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (16 April 2014 - 06:51 PM) @AlbertBreer 2m
Sidney Rice has agreed to terms with the Seahawks on a one-year deal, per source.

Yea we need a 2 OGs, a RG for next year and a replacement for Kendall since he is old.

I agree we could do with a guard for the future to replace Kendall but RT is more of a need than RG (IMO Moore is better than Clement) and I see RT being fixed in FA. If we see another overhaul of the line I think we may struggle again. Next year a DBrick-Kendall-Mangold-Moore-FA line would be a good one.

Actually I've read quite a few articles that thought Moore was the weakest link on the line. Either way they are both pedestrian when it comes to lineman. They both could be upgraded.

Moore is horrible. He is slow off the ball and ALWAYS gets flagged for false starts. He makes dumb mistakes that are drive killers. He IMO is the one who needs to be replaced.

Getting Leonard Davis could end up being our best move of the offseason if we can get it done. Nothing like a mammoth run blocking linemen to help the inconsistent running game.

Agreed...completely...in fact I think he should be the only "Big Name" Free Agent.

If the Jets choose to go after Samuel or Clements aswell...OK...but if it were just Leonard Davis...we'd be fine.

We've talked about this a million times. No he's not a featured back. He's not an every down back. If he was we would not be talking about trading or drafting a RB. He's a Dave Meggett type RB. A third down specialists. That's all.

Hold up a minute. When the Eagles lost Staley, even though they had Westbrook, they still were dying to draft a big time back. Now look. Westbrook became a stud. Theres no reason Washington cant become what Westbrook is.

I don't think you draft a running back in the first round. There is too much quality in the rounds after that so you shouldn't have to spend an early pick for one. The only way I see doing that is if it's a guy like Peterson or if you're a team like the colts were last year and that is all you need. But if you honestly take a look at the Jets I see two glaring needs before RB, secondary and a pass receiving TE. Maybe picking up a guy like Dominic Rhodes to split time with Washington might be a good idea. Although there is a guy that i might go after if he's available when we pick in the first round and that's Marshawn Lynch. Still i'm a little tentative to make that selection.
“We know we’re better than you, we don’t give a f*ck if you know it or not, we don’t give a sh*t if you give us your best game, we’re gonna give you our best game and we’re gonna beat the f*ck outta ya. How’s that?”

SECONDARY AND PASST CATCHING TE...OUR GLARING NEEDS?!?!?! common...a better pass receiving TE would be nice but baker is underutilized and we dont really know what he can do yet, but the potential is there...either way i wouldnt call it a "glaring need". Also, as far as secondary goes...we have dyson and rhodes both solid...and i STILL say we have to be patient with miller...this guy has ALL the tools and im hoping coleman or smith step up at the other safety this year. Again, a corner opposite dyson is a need but....we need d-linemen bad. we need an true 3/4 OLB to play opposite thomas. we need a new right side to our oline, and we also need a true fullback.

FINALLY!!!! A REAL BIG BOY!!!

DE is the highest priority which is why if the Jets have to they will trade up to take Adam Carriker.
