Hahaha, theres something that bothers me when they have a huge budget and they could have cast a much more attractive women but they didn't. Ala Stranger than Fiction, Will Ferrell's love interest in that movie looked more Bob Hope than hot chick.
BTW, HHF just notified me that they are making a 4th movie. Why, why, why

The ifrst one did have a huge budget, I'd imdb it but i'm lazy. http://www.imdb.com
secondly, no she doesn't have to be gorgeous but attractive would be nice. You think if Rosie O'Donnell was Mary Jane that those movies would have made as much moneyb as they did? Hell no. Looks and Sexuality are the most influential factors in female casting, it may be shallow but its true

Doubt what, the budget or the fact that looks are the deciding factor most of the time...
Spider-Man(2002) Estimated Budget: $139,000,000 after final cut so not including post-production er go "estimated"
http://imdb.com/titl...145487/business
Where as other box office boomers with extremely BETTER casting like "The Departed" had a budget of $90,000,000 or
"The Good Shepherd": $85,000,000 (estimated)
"Dreamgirls":$70,000,000 (estimated)
All of those movies blow spiderman out of the water in terms of casting and look how low their budgets are. All the computer-animated-horrendously-fake-looking graphics soaked up all the funds so they had to settle with nobody actors like JK Simmons and wash-up Willem Dafoe. In truth Spiderman has one of the largest budgets for an unanimated movie of all time.

i said it was casted good though so i don't get your point. lets put it in football terms
if a team has 30 mil to spend are they better getting a big named washed up athlete for the whole 30 mil. or somebody who does a great job for cheaper but isn't a big name? thought so

Huh that kind of proves my point. Willem Dafoe is washed up where as you have a cast of people like Eddie Murphy and Jamie fox on a movie that has a budget of half owhat it cost to make apiderman. That may be the shallow bombs talking but im pretty sure no
