I think my english teacher thinks our class is a bunch of tards this year. Last year we read Tuesdays with Morrie by Mitch Albom, pretty good book about Mitchs' former professor and battle with ALS. This year, Speak WTF I don't care about some girl getting raped when she was drunk at a party.
Books I've read on my own recently.
Alice Cooper Golf Monster-Chronicles Alice Coopers life struggle with alcoholism and addiction to golf. Very good book, it was very "candid" it seemed like nothing was off limits from his childhood to waking up by vomiting blood
Being Sugar Ray- Wasn't a big fan of the book(I didn't end up finishing it) but was pretty cool another autobiography about the life of Sugar Ray Robinson
and
A Fighters Heart by Sam Sheridan- In this book Sam travels around the world to train with some of the most notable camps and teams in various martial arts, he went to Thailand for I believe a month had a thai fight, went to Militich Fighting Systems in Iowa to train with Greats Matt Hughes, Tim Sylvia, and the rest of the MFS fighters and took an ammy fight in MMA. He also traveled to other parts of the world(Brazil during the prime BTT and Chute Boxe era) Very good book gave a ton of insight into what fighters and the teams go through on a daily basis, the struggles to survive and excel to the comrade the team mates share.
