Jets are doing jets related things also... THE KNICKS.
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 12:04 AM) You know what I do? Not go to the fuckin games LOL
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 12:04 AM) And it's not just me because the Mets suck, Yankees can't sell out anymore at all
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 12:04 AM) Shit, even Mets vs Yankees wasn't sold out
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 12:04 AM) That never happened in the 90s
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 12:04 AM) ghetto fries
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 12:05 AM) whats amusing is at nationals stadium the staff is the worst
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 12:05 AM) they don't give a shit
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 12:05 AM) specially sunday morning
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 12:06 AM) How so?
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 12:06 AM) Do they make you watch the Nationals?
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 12:06 AM) every time they handed me my food or what not then i had to go to the register to pay i just walked away because the queue was too long
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 12:06 AM) people running the registers just go super slow
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 12:07 AM) no one there is in charge of making sure the customers are following the process
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 12:11 AM) Wait, you pay after you get your food?
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 12:11 AM) How does that even work?
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 12:11 AM) Everywhere you pay when you place your order
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 12:12 AM) well its decided getting some booze tomorrow afternoon and drinking every time i head lebron's head band referenced
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 12:12 AM) like i said the concession stands are a mess
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 12:12 AM) You might die
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 12:12 AM) there were multiple people behind the counter
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 12:13 AM) so you could just go up to it and ask for what you wanted and 1 out of the 5 people would be on a single register
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 12:13 AM) so eventually you were just handed your food
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 12:13 AM) expecting for someone to approach the register you were standing infront to charge you
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 12:13 AM) or you were led to believe maybe you had to go line up to the one that had a cashier with people already waiting on it
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 12:14 AM) so a lot of the times when i was just handed the food i requested i would stand there look around see them go back to being distracted on their boost mobile phones or whatever reason and walked away
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 12:14 AM) i got 6 pretzels like this for the group i was with and 3 hot dogs
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 12:15 AM) my ticket one time had like 5$ towards concessions or what not their scanner wasnt working at the register so it wasnt reading it right or she didnt know what she was doing. she tried to scan it 3 times then litterally just turned away so i was standing there asking if it was all good no one answered so i just walked away with the food
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 12:18 AM) probably doesn't help that they are hiring people from one of the worst parts of dc
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 12:19 AM) in fact all the stadiums in dc are in very low income areas probably to exploit this work force
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 12:31 AM) No stadiums are in low income areas because that's how they get municipal bonds to finance construction. "Look, we're giving black people jobs! Pay for our stadium!!!"
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 12:32 AM) right
HarlemHxC814 Icon : (Yesterday, 01:48 PM) New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez will face a lawsuit for allegedly shooting a man after an altercation at a Miami strip club.

TMZ.com broke news of this stunning development, as the lawsuit was filed in Florida federal court on Wednesday—five days prior to authorities searching Hernandez's Massachusetts home for an apparently unrelated homicide case.
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 02:41 PM) A well-placed source told Paul Lukas, who writes Uni Watch for ESPN.com, that Revis paid safety Mark Barron $50,000 to get the No. 24 from the second-year safety.
Mr_Jet Icon : (Yesterday, 04:06 PM) I've watched about 3 minutes of ESPN today and have already heard the word "headband" twice.
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 04:13 PM) yea i'm going to get hammered
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 05:29 PM) that left side of japan is no joke
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 05:33 PM) damn that was so karate
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 05:45 PM) http://i.minus.com/iqVziQ4MnbBdg.gif
Chaos Icon : (Yesterday, 06:57 PM) James Gandolfini passed away
Chaos Icon : (Yesterday, 06:58 PM) he was 51, suspected heart attack
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 07:01 PM) I guess that means no soprano movie
ganggreen2003 Icon : (Yesterday, 07:14 PM) he was also a JETS fan
Mr_Jet Icon : (Yesterday, 07:46 PM) That's a surprising death but him dying of a heart attack is not a surprise.
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 09:53 PM) Anyone had him in the pool?
santana Icon : (Today, 12:16 AM) nope

Didn't he admit to "unknowingly" taking steroids? That pretty much proves it there now doesn't it.

even though the record is tainted. you still have to give credit where its deserved. all the steriods in the world couldnt make an average joe hit that many homeruns. yeah barry probably had help but shit that is a lot of hrs.

i like to think this as a end to the steriod era. its coming to an end with this record maybe for that reason its in a diff class. arod should be comin up on it soon. im glad the chase is all over.

Like it or not, Barry is the new HR king. I think Hank Aaron should of been there and not on that big screen. That's shameful. I know you're about to lose your record. He'll regret not being there. Support the man.

And how did a Mets fan get that ball. He showed up with a mets jersey in the crowd. He took a beating with his face smashed up. But this kid got some money coming his way with that ball.

Well as nonchalantly as you can say that is the thing that bugs me. Thats the whole reason why his record sucks. I'm not showing gratitude to some schmuck and thats just the way it is. Nothing impressive about it. It's amazing what training can do under steroid use and other illegal performance inhancers.

To each is own, if people are going to choose to praise him for it then so be it. Praise away!! I respect people who did it the right way. L.T's T.D record last year was special. Thats a special guy doing it the right way. Not this bag of sh!t.

Anyone that thinks Bonds didn't use steroids is a moron. He's only admitted to it himself. He cheated. Congrats Bonds on cheating your way into infamy. How anyone could live with themselves and look themselves in the mirror knowing they are a cheater is beyond me. It takes a special person to be able to do that.

I agree 10000%. It's good to see people like LT who do amazing things the right way. He is the best RB of all time. I never thought I'd say that but it's quite apparent.

Aaron didn't know how long it was going to take for him to hit that home run, why should he have to put his life on hold and follow Bonds around?

Woohoo!! Baroid Bonds is the new home run king! In my opinion the guy is an asshole, him Maguire, Palmiero and all the other steroid induced freaks destroyed this game. And what makes it even more sick is that this guys is going to be a HOF'er...what a joke!

QUOTE (extmenace @ Aug 8 2007, 12:34 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
If bonds should have an astrick and his record is far from legit so is arron's old record. Why you may ask? If you have noticed...the record had been set in 3 different era's of baseball. Babe ruth got screwed and should be still far ahead of bonds in this chase and arron should have never owned it. for example if a ball hit a foul pole...it was considered foul...a homerun wasnt considered a home run unless it went into the bleachers...just not over the fence...pitchers were allowed to use forign substances for the "spit ball"....He also had less games to play per season. Back in his time home runs werent encouraged thus the proper rules for a homerun werent in place.

Arron on the other hand had all these new rule changes which encouraged he and the other players of his time to try and hit the homerun. Thus many of the homeruns arron hit would have never of counted for ruth. so maybe arron should have one of those nice big * next to his record as well. remember marris had an astrick next to his single season homerun record for a long while because he did it in more games.

And now tonight bonds breaks the record where it was more than obvious that as much as a 3rd of baseball and maybe even more were doing the exact same thing as he was doing. there werent any rules in place for steroids in baseball thus he wasnt breaking any of baseballs rules. it may be immoral but he wasnt breaking anything...he is a product of his era...just like ruth and arron were of theirs....

that is a great post and i especially agree with the last part about how he wasn't breaking the basball rules.

If something isn't a rule and someone does it to help him win, to me that's not doing anything wrong. Everyone is making Bonds the goat only because he is going to break the record. Why isn't everyone at mad at the other 3rd of the baseball players taht used steroids??? its only because Bonds is going to break the record. G.O.A.T Its pathetic that people would bad mouth Bonds when half of those people were watchiing him with amazement as he was hitting homeruns nowing that he was taking something. Now everyone wants to point fingers at him. Give me a break.
