Hey, for those of us not yet in college, list the 5 colleges you'd like to go to the most. For me, I wanna be up in the Northeast, I gotta stay close to my NY roots. Yet, my ultimate dream would be to play baseball for a college team (any non-community college for that matter), so with that said, I'd choose any of these 5:
1. Columbia.
2. Syracuse.
3. Penn State.
4. Harvard.
5. USC (SoCal, they have a good baseball program and are good in academics, plus you can't shovel up sunshine there in Cali).

I'm applying this year and hope to go to either Oxford or LSE (London School of Economics) for my undergrad degree. Then I hope to do a journalism Masters in the States (either Columbia, Northwestern or Syracuse).

Rutgers, Elmira, Clemson, Penn State. Not really 100% sure yet but I know Rutgers is my #1 option.

Good Luck Smeds! All you could do is be yourself and do your best during those 3 days of interviews! My son Vilmatime seems to be leaning towards Penn State then Rutgers but did apply to 8 colleges here in the states. His H.S. average is in the low 90's and he did well on the SAT's, plus runs track and plays lacrosse which colleges over here look at (extracuricular activities). I'm proud of all you young guys on the board that are sticking with your education! Keep it up guys, you won't regret it in the long run!!

Cheers buddy and good luck to VT too! Is he off to college after this year too? I'm guessing he could be in line for a scholarship, or at least partial one, because of his sporting talent, right?

This is his senior year. He has become a talented cross country track runner, and he was in the weight room tonight when we spoke over the phone getting ready for the upcoming lacrosse season. If he does get a partial scholarship it will be due to his 90+ overall average while also playing 2 sports. Colleges realize the amount of time needed to play sports and how hard it is to keep a 90+ average while doing so.

Thats all I would need! One brother from another mother being corrupted into writing 3am drunken posts! Add in the fact that he just got his Honda Prelude that has previously been clocked at 130mph! Sorry son, I have to seperate the 2 of you guys!! Plus that car wouldn't hold up against any deer run ins! cool2.gif
