Jets are doing jets related things also... THE KNICKS.
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 12:04 AM) Now I gotta drop $30 for a burger with fries
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 12:04 AM) You know what I do? Not go to the fuckin games LOL
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 12:04 AM) And it's not just me because the Mets suck, Yankees can't sell out anymore at all
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 12:04 AM) Shit, even Mets vs Yankees wasn't sold out
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 12:04 AM) That never happened in the 90s
santana Icon : (Today, 12:04 AM) ghetto fries
santana Icon : (Today, 12:05 AM) whats amusing is at nationals stadium the staff is the worst
santana Icon : (Today, 12:05 AM) they don't give a shit
santana Icon : (Today, 12:05 AM) specially sunday morning
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 12:06 AM) How so?
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 12:06 AM) Do they make you watch the Nationals?
santana Icon : (Today, 12:06 AM) every time they handed me my food or what not then i had to go to the register to pay i just walked away because the queue was too long
santana Icon : (Today, 12:06 AM) people running the registers just go super slow
santana Icon : (Today, 12:07 AM) no one there is in charge of making sure the customers are following the process
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 12:11 AM) Wait, you pay after you get your food?
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 12:11 AM) How does that even work?
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 12:11 AM) Everywhere you pay when you place your order
santana Icon : (Today, 12:12 AM) well its decided getting some booze tomorrow afternoon and drinking every time i head lebron's head band referenced
santana Icon : (Today, 12:12 AM) like i said the concession stands are a mess
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 12:12 AM) You might die
santana Icon : (Today, 12:12 AM) there were multiple people behind the counter
santana Icon : (Today, 12:13 AM) so you could just go up to it and ask for what you wanted and 1 out of the 5 people would be on a single register
santana Icon : (Today, 12:13 AM) so eventually you were just handed your food
santana Icon : (Today, 12:13 AM) expecting for someone to approach the register you were standing infront to charge you
santana Icon : (Today, 12:13 AM) or you were led to believe maybe you had to go line up to the one that had a cashier with people already waiting on it
santana Icon : (Today, 12:14 AM) so a lot of the times when i was just handed the food i requested i would stand there look around see them go back to being distracted on their boost mobile phones or whatever reason and walked away
santana Icon : (Today, 12:14 AM) i got 6 pretzels like this for the group i was with and 3 hot dogs
santana Icon : (Today, 12:15 AM) my ticket one time had like 5$ towards concessions or what not their scanner wasnt working at the register so it wasnt reading it right or she didnt know what she was doing. she tried to scan it 3 times then litterally just turned away so i was standing there asking if it was all good no one answered so i just walked away with the food
santana Icon : (Today, 12:18 AM) probably doesn't help that they are hiring people from one of the worst parts of dc
santana Icon : (Today, 12:19 AM) in fact all the stadiums in dc are in very low income areas probably to exploit this work force
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 12:31 AM) No stadiums are in low income areas because that's how they get municipal bonds to finance construction. "Look, we're giving black people jobs! Pay for our stadium!!!"
santana Icon : (Today, 12:32 AM) right
HarlemHxC814 Icon : (Today, 01:48 PM) New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez will face a lawsuit for allegedly shooting a man after an altercation at a Miami strip club.

TMZ.com broke news of this stunning development, as the lawsuit was filed in Florida federal court on Wednesday—five days prior to authorities searching Hernandez's Massachusetts home for an apparently unrelated homicide case.
santana Icon : (Today, 02:41 PM) A well-placed source told Paul Lukas, who writes Uni Watch for ESPN.com, that Revis paid safety Mark Barron $50,000 to get the No. 24 from the second-year safety.
Mr_Jet Icon : (Today, 04:06 PM) I've watched about 3 minutes of ESPN today and have already heard the word "headband" twice.
santana Icon : (Today, 04:13 PM) yea i'm going to get hammered
santana Icon : (Today, 05:29 PM) that left side of japan is no joke
santana Icon : (Today, 05:33 PM) damn that was so karate
santana Icon : (Today, 05:45 PM) http://i.minus.com/iqVziQ4MnbBdg.gif
Chaos Icon : (Today, 06:57 PM) James Gandolfini passed away
Chaos Icon : (Today, 06:58 PM) he was 51, suspected heart attack
santana Icon : (Today, 07:01 PM) I guess that means no soprano movie
ganggreen2003 Icon : (Today, 07:14 PM) he was also a JETS fan
Mr_Jet Icon : (Today, 07:46 PM) That's a surprising death but him dying of a heart attack is not a surprise.
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 09:53 PM) Anyone had him in the pool?

First, Herm Edwards wasn't a bad coach. He did what even Bill Parcells couldn't do: guide the Jets in to the playoffs for two consecutive years, anas well as two playoff victories. If you look at all of the Jets' past coaches besides Weeb Ewbank, he actually ranks right up there.

For Woody Johnson to refuse to pay Herm Edwards the money he wanted was stupid. To refuse to pay Pete Kendall the money he wanted was stupid (that's why Chad Pennington is injured right now). Woody Johnson is a tightwad and it is costing the team. I don't think the guy really cares that much about winning as much as he does saving money.

As far as the rest of the front office goes, Mike Tannenbaum and Eric Mangini, for blowing the whistle on Belichick, are idiots, especially during a game in which the Pats would have won anyway. Spying or not, in the first two games, the Jets defense has SUCKED. That's what the Jets should be focusing on (no turnovers or sacks, and not even any pressure on opposing QBs so far). Perhaps the base 3-4 D was the wrong idea. Anyway, this season is going to be just like every other season for Gang Green: a waste of time. Hiring Mangini was a mistake.

Ah, what the hell...

Herm did have a decent record as a Jets head coach even though it was a losing record (the 4-12 season killed it). But you are forgetting so many aspects about the team. Parcells took over a crap Jets team. He rebuilt the team from nothing to make them a playoff calibur team. Herm just tookover a playoff team and never got us to the next level like he should of. Herm is not a good head coach. Woody was smart to give him to the Chiefs. Look how it turned out for them.

Mangini has a plan for this team. Dynasty's are not built in 2 seasons. Give him time and have some patience. I am tired of everyone getting their panties in a bunch because we are 0-2 right now. Did anyone really expect to go to the Super Bowl this year? Take a chill pill and let Mangini build this team the way he wants it. Only then will we be a playoff team and then hopefully a super bowl team.

Have some faith Jets fans. Damn.

Just 1 thing. At todays date, and time. You cannot mention Mr. Bill Parcells' name, with any of the 2 coaches since Mr Bill Parcells in the same sentence, let alone compare them......

Although I have no way to prove it since the IP tracker is messing it up, I'm like 85% sure this is Evanston or Richkotite2006

Inpain, I have to disagree w/you on certain points. 1st, Herm was a good motivator-period-, he was not a disciplinarian at all (players did whatever they felt like doing whenever they felt like doing it), he was not a good playcaller, & his time management skills were the worst. Lastly, he inherited a playoff team, so I don't put too much credence into the fact that he had 2 consecutive playoff teams. Mangini has coached this team for ONLY 19 games (including the playoff game) & has a record of 10-9. I personally like Mangini & Tannenbaum, their both young & eager to succeed, committed to excellence, & most importantly have chemistry together. Give them at least 3-4 more seasons to see if their efforts have borne fruit before condemning them to the chopping block.

herm was really bad with clock managment and too conservative. the only disadvantage ive seen from mangini so far is that vilma's been a little less productive in the 3-4 but its a new system for him so thats a given, and also either way hes still dominant.

Mangini doesn't want his future QB injured to poor o-line play, I can see why. Chad's on his way out the door.

INPAIN has an opinion just as we have........we are 0-2 and there ain't much to brag about.
38 yrs and no Superbowl . coaches and their plans come and go , fans come and go but the money keeps on rollin in. Bill also built the cowboys and they are looking good.
Mangini is under the Microscope as far as I'm concerned.

Yes, of course.
Herman Edwards' superior coaching ability is displayed in Kansas City. bullshit.gif
Watch as Edwards' single handedly destroys that team.
The Jets could have been so much better the years Edwards' coached them.
