HarlemHxC814 Icon : (Yesterday, 04:00 PM) Tehhhh
Jetsfan115 Icon : (Yesterday, 04:12 PM) chuck norris said tebow is a great QB. i'm so conflicted becuase tebow sucks but on the other hand if chuck norris said it, it must be true lol
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 09:21 PM) Geno was not the favorite to win the heisman going into the year lol
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 09:21 PM) you don't watch college football, stop
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 09:23 PM) He might not even of been in the second tier of players
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 09:25 PM) I've read a ton of articles and all had him as the favorite
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 09:25 PM) Who was the favorite then?
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 09:27 PM) "Smith was already going to be on most Heisman preseason lists, but a 407-yard, 6-TD performance in the Orange Bowl win over Clemson only solidified him as an elite passer. He can make every throw on the field and has a plethora of talented receivers coming back. Since this team will likely be playing in the Big 12, which has had the uncanny knack for inflating quarterback numbers recently, Smith and head coach Dana Holgorsen are going to leave opposing defenses charred and crippled on most Saturdays."
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 09:27 PM) That's from a Jan 2012 article
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 09:27 PM) You can google shit from 14 months ago and find a f*** ton of these

SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 09:32 PM) He was 4th according to Vegas odds in April 2012
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 09:53 PM) 4th makes him the favorite?
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 09:53 PM) you said he was the favorite
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 09:53 PM) he wasn't anything near the favorite
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 09:54 PM) he reached his pinnacle in the heisman race in the early part of last season
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 09:54 PM) at that point he was the favorite
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 09:56 PM) also, what a basketball game
MikeGangGree... Icon : (Yesterday, 10:21 PM) 4 point game
MikeGangGree... Icon : (Yesterday, 10:21 PM) maybe the pacers are that good
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 12:36 AM) I said that his time last year, he was the favorite. I misspoke. He was 3rd or 4th. He certainly wasn't "not even in the 2nd tier" like you claimed
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 12:36 AM) Take your medicine Matty
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 12:36 AM) Maybe you should watch more college football instead of talking about watching college football
Jetsman05 Icon : (Today, 06:46 AM) No he wasn't 3rd or 4th
Jetsman05 Icon : (Today, 06:47 AM) He was the 4th favorite in vegas, making him no where near the favorite
Jetsman05 Icon : (Today, 06:47 AM) Barkley had 3/2 odds, Geno was 9-1
Jetsman05 Icon : (Today, 06:48 AM) It's whatever
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 10:50 AM) Manish leaving jets beat
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 10:51 AM) About time
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 11:22 AM) Was he "not even in the 2nd tier"? No. STFU
Jetsman05 Icon : (Today, 11:25 AM) Was he the favorite?
Jetsman05 Icon : (Today, 11:26 AM) Or even close to the favorite?
Jetsman05 Icon : (Today, 11:27 AM) Nice Manish leaving? Good shit
HarlemHxC814 Icon : (Today, 11:43 AM) SHJ, your boy EJ leads a very sad life
Jetsman05 Icon : (Today, 11:57 AM) haha why do you say that
HarlemHxC814 Icon : (Today, 12:03 PM) I'm friends with SHJ on Facebook and I replied "TEH KNICKS" then EJ recognized my name and started commenting saying shit
HarlemHxC814 Icon : (Today, 12:04 PM) He then goes "yeah and f*** the Knicks" I wanted to tell him he doesn't know what that joke is because he's banned

??? are feelin' ok? Stokley???? A WR is the least of our worries.

i disagree. we don't have a true slot WR. smith is still raw and can't pass j-mac on the depth chart, j-mac is onlt good for deep balls and dropped 2 game tying TDs from clemens, stucky got hurt. we do need a WR. but also o-line and DT
Get it done MT

Leon would be a better slot guy than J-drop. I have a feeling Stuckey was gonna pass him til he went on IR. If j-mac drops too many more passes like that, I hope we get someone else. But still, the lines are of bigger need. Oline is the biggest concern, and it was going into the offseason, and it was going into the season.

Your theory may have substance and is entirely possible but it is to early to make those kind of theories because you are pretty much basing the whole thing against performances against two of the best defenses in the league.
The team may yet be better than we have seen so far.

Do I believe we are a playofff team this year? No.
As bad as 4-12?No.

As far as the statements of this sounding down to earth and hitting close to home.....

Common people. It is to damn early for that crap. You are talking about two teams that are said to be possible Superbowl contenders.I would at least give it four full games before I would start making full on assumptions about the entire season.S-Dub?Common man!You are usually pretty logical. What are you falling into this crap so early for man.

For assumption sake as you stated......

1)Even if the Jets were to lose all 16 games I would seriously doubt Mangini would be fired off one bad season.

He did take the team to the playoffs last year.We have yet to see how he will yet shape the team.If the team doesnt start looking better in another two years I would say axe him.

2)Get rid of J-Suck no matter what.

He hasnt panned out and is just hurting the team.Even if he is just released it is ok.

3)I believe the team needs to strictly go for o-line and d-line in the drafts and waivers.

I think most of the rest of the team will look better if we have those to problems fixed.

we were dominated 6 of the 8 qrts totally useless even helpless. In the pats game we continually rush with 3 men vs 5 men giving Brady all the time he needed to find 1 of 4 recievers vs 7 men.

when Mangini starts winning then he will get the praise he deserves but not before .
how many players are left from edwards or parcels teams the answer is not many but few.

True.
I never said praise the man.I said quit talking this 4-12 crap.Dont be happy about the start but dont already say the season is a wash after 2 games against legit contenders.Have at least a little faith in your team.

We did look bad both games but the team almost came back and pulled the game out last week.So basically the gloom and doom crap about the whole season can only be based on one game.

There are teams that went 0-2 and even made the playoffs.Hell Houston went 0-4 then 8-0. 12-4
On the flipside Miami went 7-0 then 2-7 9-7

Basically anything is possible but we dont need supposed pesimistic views on a what if about a 4-12 season after two damn games.Only brings moral down more

Yeah we did make Brady look good but he is arguably one of if not the best qb ever with maybe the leagues best offensive line.

Boller did have two out of three winning seasons as a starter with the Ravens so it isnt like some scrub beat us.In my view he plays kind of Penintonesqe. He looks good sometimes and crappy the next.At least the Ravens were smart enough as a city to try another winning qb but also keep Boller as a just in case

The point is that anything is possible we could go 0-16 or maybe come back and get our crap together and have a winning season. No one can predict a 4-12 season after two games.I guess this why we were voted shittiest fans in the league because of this kind of faithlessness in our team

I would be willing to bet SignalZero isnt the next Nostradomus and he probably isnt some millionare who has made a fortune off betting on sporting events.I am not trying to step on toes but as far as I am concerned Signal Zero cant be a very good team fan to try and force his bleak outlooks on life toward the rest of us.Shame on you guys for falling into his depressed life.
If you guys already know the team is going to be 4-12 then why even watch the games the rest of the season.
