Azjetfan is the nyjetsfan #1 pick
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (02 May 2015 - 03:22 PM) He has more upside for a 7th rounder than anyone else
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (02 May 2015 - 03:22 PM) He can start right away at RT
HarlemHxC814 Icon : (02 May 2015 - 03:29 PM) He said he won't sign
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (02 May 2015 - 03:32 PM) so he doesn't want to be drafted?
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (02 May 2015 - 03:33 PM) If Collins doesn't get drafted, he can't enter next years draft. He can only if he is drafted and sits out. So I guess he has to go undrafted
V DidDy 210 Icon : (02 May 2015 - 03:41 PM) going undrafted makes the most sense for collins
V DidDy 210 Icon : (02 May 2015 - 03:41 PM) but for teams, drafting him and dealing with his holdout makes more sense
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (02 May 2015 - 04:19 PM) Zac Stacy was traded to us for our 7th
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (02 May 2015 - 04:21 PM) Jets also drafted a NT with our other 7th
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (02 May 2015 - 04:21 PM) 6'4 330 DL who is very strong
V DidDy 210 Icon : (02 May 2015 - 04:25 PM) zac stacy for a 7th
V DidDy 210 Icon : (02 May 2015 - 04:25 PM) well can't complain about that
MikeGangGree... Icon : (02 May 2015 - 04:29 PM) So we have 4 rbs now
V DidDy 210 Icon : (02 May 2015 - 04:31 PM) still would have rather taken a runner on collins but i can't complain with depth
V DidDy 210 Icon : (02 May 2015 - 04:32 PM) i mean they can't expect to carry 4 rb though no?
azjetfan Icon : (02 May 2015 - 05:50 PM) Collins would have been a waste. He would not have signed. At least we have something to show for our pick. Worst case scenario is we trade or release one of our backs.
azjetfan Icon : (02 May 2015 - 05:56 PM) I know it's hard to tell without seeing a win loss record yet but this regime seems really on point.
azjetfan Icon : (02 May 2015 - 05:56 PM) For the first time in my life I can say I feel comfortable with the people making the decisions.
azjetfan Icon : (02 May 2015 - 05:57 PM) I was close with Parcells but he seemed like a short term fixer and didn't care about the long term
MikeGangGree... Icon : (02 May 2015 - 06:57 PM) SUCK FOR THE DUCK
MikeGangGree... Icon : (02 May 2015 - 06:57 PM) .......oh wait
santana Icon : (03 May 2015 - 01:13 AM) Well that was a disappointment
Chadforpresi... Icon : (03 May 2015 - 01:24 AM) I like getting Stacy for our 7th rounder, assuming he can handle the fact he won't be a feature back (yikes)
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (03 May 2015 - 09:31 AM) I like the trade, hes a quality back and adds more depth to our backfield
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (03 May 2015 - 09:32 AM) Macc has pretty much killed it this offseason
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (03 May 2015 - 09:32 AM) He has turned this roster around, he has added talent and competition all over.
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (03 May 2015 - 09:33 AM) We still aren't great at QB, but our overall football team is good. We have a realistic shot at making a playoff run
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (03 May 2015 - 09:33 AM) We may have the best defense in football. We have a great DL and secondary, that is gonna be tough on offenses when you can stop the run, pressure the QB, and blanket the receivers
ganggreen2003 Icon : (03 May 2015 - 09:23 PM) ok now it's time for this team to take all this talent and do something anything below a 10-6 season will be a disappointment
ganggreen2003 Icon : (03 May 2015 - 09:24 PM) the only still glaring issue is QB
ganggreen2003 Icon : (03 May 2015 - 09:25 PM) we got the WR problem solved, we got probably one of the best Defenses in the game and we have addressed the OL but QB will still be the glaring issue
Chaos Icon : (04 May 2015 - 09:34 AM) jets cleaning house
azjetfan Icon : (04 May 2015 - 05:57 PM) I'm excited about this year. Could be a good year for the Jets.
ganggreen2003 Icon : (04 May 2015 - 07:32 PM) weird how they cleaned house in the scouting department after such a successful draft and off-season so far
azjetfan Icon : (04 May 2015 - 07:36 PM) I assume they didn't bring much to the table
santana Icon : (04 May 2015 - 08:41 PM) Have to clean the table
santana Icon : (04 May 2015 - 09:08 PM) Fuck the rangers
santana Icon : (04 May 2015 - 09:08 PM) face off dominated holtby gtfo
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (04 May 2015 - 09:18 PM) La'el Collins is meeting with Rex Ryan tonight
MikeGangGree... Icon : (Yesterday, 12:31 AM) FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH!
Chaos Icon : (Yesterday, 05:41 AM) Damn that'd make up for the Bills not having a first rounder
azjetfan Icon : (Yesterday, 10:59 AM) They didn't sign him yet. It's just a visit.
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 01:49 PM) Uefa time
ROBJETS Icon : (Yesterday, 11:56 PM) Not sure if anyone saw this on the MSN home page but might be something worth looking into for the offensive line

We just completed a conference call with "Ocho Cinco" -- aka Chad Johnson, the Bengals' wide receiver. You know the upcoming game doesn't have much juice when Johnson, one of the biggest mouths in the NFL, decides to back off on the trash talking. He says he won't go back to being Chad (bulletin-board quotes, crazy touchdown celebrations, etc.) until the Bengals (1-4) are back to .500. That'll be 2008.
Asked in jest if he'd like to play for the Jets, Johnson said, "That would be cool. I'd spice up the Big Apple."

Im sure his with fun, determined, confident attitude isnt he wouldnt be what we consider a "Mangini guy". Id kill to have him, hes everything thats right about the NFL. Im just afraid Mangini only wants guys who show up and dont talk and just follow orders all day. Oh and be nice at all times. (Im frustrated right now, sorry if I come off as being too negative but hey, were 1-5)

Chad Johnson is definitely a Mangini guy. The guy loves football and works his ass off. He's one of the more passionate players in the game he just has an electric personality. I love the guy and he would be great to have for any organization. He's good for football. Amazing player, amazing athlete and an amazing person. I'd love to have him.

I don't take that as being negative AC, it is what it is! And the 5 core Jet Values ARE going to hurt this team even more in the long run, like I've been posting since before this sorry ass season started!!!

I think you'll see the Jets take some risk on some not perfect players soon. I think at first they wanted to take all the good guys to build the team around, then when you have a strong locker room you can add some not so perfect players and have the strong locker room keep them in line.
That would be awesome to have Chad Johnson, thats what we really need on offense or defense, some kind of player that brings a swagger to the team. Someone who can make plays, walks the walk. A NFL icon. We lack talent, I really hope with our high draft pick we can draft some kind of stud.

Mangini won't change his broken down QB, what would make you think that he will change his 5 core Jet values???

He will make a QB change when he feels the season is over, he isnt going to change the QB when they are still in contention. I think after this game against the Bengals when we lose Chad will be pulled as the starter and Clemens will be the starter against the Bills, atleast I am hopeing!!

Yep, we're probably the most boring team in the NFL right now. There's nothing really that sets the team apart from everyone else....

I don't know, those Giants fans are pretty awful.

What good would he be if he does not have a QB that can throw more than 10 yards down field...

Well luckily for me Im in Toms River now, I lived in AC through high school though and youre right I hate them, theyre extreemely obnoxious and they think no matter what the eagles are gonna win the bowl. funny thing is that south jersey actually split me. Im a Phillies and Sixers fan but on the other hand Im a Jets and Devils fan. So if I cant get along with Philly peoples in one thing we can always get along in somethin else.

Trust me on this one, Philly fans are the worst. The only other fans who could even give them a run for their money are boston fans.

I'll take your word for it, and yes Boston fans are unbelievably awful.

Jets fans are pretty bad as well. Who would cheer for their QB to get hurt? I am not a Chad Pennington fan by all means but that was just the worst reaction in all of football.

Oakland would be #1 on that list thought. I been to the playoff games they treated us like shit throwing beer bottles at jets fans cursing infront of there 8 year old kids at jets fans it was one of those type of games if you have a family *i dont* then dont go to Oakland.

#3 would be Cleveland fans *browns fans* i remember what happen a coupe years back when the fans threw bottles at the Jags players and refs another disgusting and embassing display

I hear Oakland is a terrible place to go watch your away team, although I've never been there I'd like to go watch a Jets game there.

I lived in Pennsylvania for a while and I have to agree that Eagles fans are the worst that I've seen. They taunted Brett Favre immediately after his dad died, how CLASSLESS can you get? Especially to Brett Favre!!!
