Okay so on June 8th the USA is playing Argentina in a soccer game at the swamp. 20,000 tickets have been sold already before regular tickets went on sale to the public and fans around that area usually wait until rosters are announced before buying their tickets; so there should be several thousand walk ups and a 60,000-Sellout crowd has been deemed likely. Now I'm going with a friend who is working til three that afternoon so I cant exactly leave really early to get good parking and I want to avoid the mess during football sundays that is likely to occur due to the construction.

Can someone please tell me how the hell I would be able to obtain a parking pass?

Not only DID we stand a chance, but WE came closest to scoring. Not to mention, the US supporters (myself included) completely drowned out the people in sky blue and white. Mind you the crowed was 75/25 in favor of Argentina. Actually my friend and I were joking, we wondered how many of them have A) Actually were from Argentina, cool.gif How many have actually been to Argentina, C) How many can name the capital of Argentina, and D) How many actually have any Argentine blood in them whatsoever. We guess, only a few. It kinda got annoying to see white people with New York accents wearing Messi shirts. I wish we could have more national pride in this country.

shut up.

usa soccer blows. tongue.gif <3

the front runners had nothing to cheer about anyway. I honestly felt sorry for the crowd that showed up. its a shame when such a big game is half assed like it was.

much better action in the euro cup right now. we need to start a thread for some heated discussions.

We should, but I get the feeling that no one cares enough. Actually I'll start one and see how far it goes.
