when i heard people talking about the bugs in the new madden, the first thing that came to mind was the usual ball stopping in mid air a foot away from a guy, or a weird fall after someone is tackled, or something along those lines. ive been playing the game for a few days now and i've already encountered two of the worst things ive ever see in my entire life ina video game

Bug #1
i'm on my own 40 and playing zone.barrett had the flats. the other team was throwing to the HB out of the backfield and barrett jumped it and picked it off. im running towards the end zone, when i got caught up to and tackled at about the other team's 10, but there was a facemask penalty on the tackle. NEXT PLAY I'M ON MY OWN 1 YARD LINE!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bug#2
i'm on the 12 yard line and i throw the ball to jolley on a corner. he catches the ball about 5 yards into the end zone but it was a little low and he had to dive for it. the other team challenged the play, so i'm thinkin that it hit the ground and that's what theyre challenging about. they say the play was overturned and the next play, its first down ON THE ONE YARD LINE. the play was no where near the 1 yard line and the challenge couldnt possibly have been about whether he broke the plane, BECAUSE HE WAS 5 YARDS INTO THE ENDZONE

the bugs are crazy. besides that, good game. takes some getting used to

Yeah my bug is- The quarter defense which i run exclusively on second and third downs. Usually I blitz like the extra slot safety or corner in a cover 2 and if it is a pass play then its usually defended, and if they run its only a gain of two to three yards. In real life it would get eaten up by any back that knew how to run. That kinda pisses me off even though i use it all the time.

Another bug is the slide protection. I.E. on a pa bootleg where the qb slides to the right I slide protect rigth. That way the ol wil push forward left , blocking the dl to my opposite side. But I find that any way i slide protect(left, right, crowd, inside) The DEs always make it around the outside, rendering my play action useless

I played against someone who had philly and he got in in 2 seconds every play. I don’t know how but he was untouched the whole time every time. And in madden the QB never evades a sack
