Jets are doing jets related things also... THE KNICKS.
ganggreen2003 Icon : (Yesterday, 12:04 PM) he's a completely weak-minded individual
ganggreen2003 Icon : (Yesterday, 12:04 PM) already back to doing what he did last season THROWING INT's
ganggreen2003 Icon : (Yesterday, 12:04 PM) sucks that Garrard retired but I'd rather suffer with Geno going through growing pains than keeping Sanchez under center in 2013
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 12:33 PM) haha gg03 throwing in the towel on sanch!
mgjetman Icon : (Yesterday, 01:37 PM) What a way to make sporrts center already, Mark......
mgjetman Icon : (Yesterday, 01:39 PM) Sanch owns the #1 blooper of all time with that butt fumble also and to make matters worse he threw it right to a friggin Pat...
Jetsfan115 Icon : (Yesterday, 01:53 PM) buttfumble on thanksgiving was the low point of his career
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 01:55 PM) Teammates talking shut about Sanchez
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 02:11 PM) In case you haven't heard, because why would anyone report on the Giants, Nicks is also holding out
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 02:11 PM) That makes both Cruz and Nicks.
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 02:11 PM) But who cares, Sanchez threw 3 "interceptions"!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 02:59 PM) ?
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 02:59 PM) why would we give a f*** about the Giants?
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 03:04 PM) gg03 jimmies are riled
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 03:21 PM) You're not in NY. All the backpages are focused on Sanchez
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 03:21 PM) None of the NY media even mention Cruz or Nicks
Jetsfan115 Icon : (Yesterday, 03:40 PM) nicks isn't holding out. he's injured still and taking it easy. cruz is holding out. why it isn't a big ordeal IDK. it would be for us
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 04:02 PM) maybe because theyre not that far off.
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 04:02 PM) Cruz wants to return back, they'll figure it out.
Jetsfan115 Icon : (Yesterday, 04:41 PM) 3 mil a year off or 30% less then cruz wants. tahst alot of money to be off
Jetsfan115 Icon : (Yesterday, 04:41 PM) cruz doens't want to leave NY cause teh extra money he'll get in endorsements plus he knows taht they can RFA him this year and then Franchise next year so he might not be able to get a LTD for 3 years
Mr_Jet Icon : (Yesterday, 05:21 PM) Clemens11/Tebow15 (soon to be Smith7) said if we had just drafted Crabtree and Nicks and kept Clemens, we'd be good.
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 06:44 PM) No, he can't be Smith7
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 06:44 PM) his name is reserved for garbage QBs, we don't want Geno to be bad
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 06:44 PM) He can be McElroy14
extmenace Icon : (Yesterday, 06:51 PM) we're taking bridgewater next year with the number 1 pick and treating geno like a jimmy clausen.
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 06:53 PM) What makes Bridgewater better than Geno?
HurricaneJet32 Icon : (Yesterday, 07:12 PM) everything
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 07:56 PM) ^
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 08:16 PM) college players always get hyped up before the draft process, just wondering what makes him so much better.
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 08:19 PM) Stronger arm, plays in a pro system, better throwing motion, better athlete
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 08:19 PM) there's probably nothing Geno does right now that's better than what Teddy does
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 10:25 PM) Wouldn't it be funny with Bridgewater ends up having the type of season Barkley had?
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 07:48 AM) better athlete but never runs as well
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 07:48 AM) stronger arm but rarely throws deep
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 07:48 AM) I am trying to find this article, but Bridgewater had about the least amount of 40+ throws in college football
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 07:49 AM) I wouldn't surprise me if he wasn't viewed as highly next year. College players always get hyped up a year before the draft process. People change their opinions quickly.
Jetsman05 Icon : (Today, 07:56 AM) I'll put a good amount of money that Bridgewater is still highly regarded coming out next year.
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 08:00 AM) ok I found the chart
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 08:00 AM) Bridgewater had 0% of his passes go 40+ yards in college
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 08:02 AM) he could be, I'll wait though
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 08:02 AM) I doubt Smith will be as bad as Clausen anyways
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 08:03 AM) I remember watching Clausen in a NFL game and the guy couldn't even throw a spiral.
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 08:03 AM) Geno has been impressing teammates with how well he can spin the ball and sling it.
Jetsman05 Icon : (Today, 08:31 AM) I hope Geno turns out to be a f***ing monster

I like the ratings, our defense is strong, Pace at 87, Harris 90, Coleman 87, and Revis at 88 higher then I thought.

Our OL is strong too, Brick is the weak point, which is not true in real life, but w/e, hopefully he gets up to 88 by the end of the year.

This years madden is going to be sick, the graphics are way better. It looks so much better the field and environment, and the gameplay I heard is way better as well, less glitches and shit. I hope they fix the stamina problem on the OL, I hate in a drive where you have OL guys subbing, thats stupid.

that doesn't make sense. if panzy was a category he'd be ranked higher, wouldnt he? chad would also be the greatest QB in madden history.

I'm actually on a madden forum. They had community day yesterday for selected people to play the game and give feedback. So there are trailers/gameplay vids and pictures circulating the internet.

This years madden looks just downright nasty and trust me it takes a lot for me to credit E.A with anything.

These are the overall rankings for all players in the game.

NCAA 09 looks sick this year also.

I played last years one, it was alright but sucked compared to madden, this one actually looks really fun, like the old NCAA.

Man, I am pumped for these games!!

ill buy it anyway cus its the only nfl vid out, and i cant live without it, but i know Madden is still gunna suck. Madden rewards the skilless and punishes the skillfull. You make plays, next play there is a fumble when u dont even make a move or anything or the qb sits in the pocket and gets sacked after pressing the pass button 3 times. Then people u can destroy straight up use glitches and have one or two plays on both sides of the ball and get away with it most times.

Im tired of madden being unrealistic. thats plain n simple. forget the graphics forget the stadium forget all that nice shiny bells and whistles ea puts in to try and make u totally forget that the game is atrocious. e.g:

Playing franchise mode with the Jets, trade for Chad Johnson, and he avg.'s 3 drops per game, PER GAME. and these arent force throws where the Ocho Cinco gets laid out or sumthing, these are wide open routes were the ball is right on the money and either bounces off his chest or goes in his hands runs for a sec than falls out. He even has 95 in hands in that game and hen avg.s 3 drops per game, ive hated ea's passing game since almost the beginning of my madden playing experience, its TERRIBLE.

Another example on passing, lead a guy all the way to the ooutside on an out route and a guy throws inside. Now if i used Chad Pennington this would be quite understandable, but when im using arm stregnth qb's in the 90's this shouldnt happen. If anything he should throw the ball way out of bounds or sumthing to that affect if hes that inaccurate but when yr intending to throw outside and u throw inside? gimmie a break.

The run game i have no complaints really cept when u have a guy wrapped up a guy comes in to finish him off and magically the rb bulls over the oncoming guy and gets away from the lb and a 300 pound dt. that doesnt happen too much so cant say a lot bad bout that.

otherwise fumbles are still retarted cus sometimes u can recover and run and sometimes u cant still. If you challenge to say it was a TD when the ball was clearly over the white line it will NEVER give it to you. and still ea just updates graphgics that were better years prior but got worse when they stopped trying and need them back when people realize how crappy the gameplay is.

Look, gimme a dirt field with ugly looking goalposts, no refs and no stadium, and stick figures as players and ill be happy if the gameplay is good, true, and realistic. Is that too much to ask??

P.S. all glitchers r pu$$ys

i knew a while ago they changed it to him and i was happy, till i remebered who he was when i just saw that video, the anouncers SUCK this year, this might be the first year i turn off the anouncers cus ones dull and lulls me to sleep the others just annoying. Least the espn radio guy had some enthusiasm. crazy.gif

i cant wait for that new football game to come out that created its own tackling engine that is NASTY. I stumbled over it months ago and was reminded about it looking up madden 09 reviews, and that was sick looking gameplay. Very realistic tackles and running with technology FAR BEYOND anything EA is even close to. These people spit on ea in technology from what ive seen.

I agree, Glitchers are gay. I hate playing fags online that drop back like 50 yards and then make a perfect pass still, off their back foot. Its like the majority of people too, they just run straight back and then throw a perfect pass. Then when I play offense, they will play this 1 defense that completely stops everything I do.
Its a 3 down linemen, 3 LBs, and 5 DBs. Then they shift the DL in, and the LBs too. They have a all out blitz by the LBs, and you can't do anything because they break right through, and if you try to run, it stuffs you, if you pass you get sacked or rushed into a INT. Its the gayest defense alive.

i know exactly what your talking about, the gayest people are the ones who use that defense with the broncos cus then u have 2 shutdown corners and they use champ baily on offense, who is uncoverable.

I played a guy was winning with 10 seconds left, I had a prevent defense on, moved my enitre dbackfield back, and Champ Baily STILL burned everyone for a td, not even close. I lost like 28 to 24 cus of 4 bombs to champ baily. its redic.

and yea i drop back deeper only to get away from pass rush, i dont sprint backwards and run around and throw up some lucky charm like a lotta glitchers do wit mcnabb and young. but i feel your pain man def do.

I just want some straight up games, very rare though, luckily there are enough crappy glitchers whos ass is still kickable.

It doesn't matter about people who put champ at WR or Neuman at WR. All the in-game stuff I can lock down. People who pause glitch, timeout glich and kickoff glich are the ones I can't stand but there are ways to prevent most of the glitches. If you call onside kick everytime and audible out you'll negate the kickoff glitch. People who pause glitch can be negated by not pressing resume for a minute or so. However all of these things are a pain in the ass and shouldn't even be in the game. However they are but most are negateable.

QUOTE
Then people u can destroy straight up use glitches and have one or two plays on both sides of the ball and get away with it most times.

Only if your defense isn't up to par. I'll score 3 or 7 on almost every drive so if they are not getting in then they'll lose. There has VERY RARELY been an offense I couldn't stop, but yet again they have to stop my offense.

QUOTE
Im tired of madden being unrealistic. thats plain n simple. forget the graphics forget the stadium forget all that nice shiny bells and whistles ea puts in to try and make u totally forget that the game is atrocious. e.g:

I agree.. this has been my biggest gripe. However just like old xbox it took them a handful of years to get it right. It's only been 3 for NG (next gen). 08 would actually be a GREAT game if they didn't have the DE contain glitch and all the disconnection glitches. 09 is poised to be a great year. I think they'll be working extra hard just because Lord Favre is on the cover.

QUOTE
ive hated ea's passing game since almost the beginning of my madden playing experience, its TERRIBLE.

Again your opinion but it's not all that bad.

QUOTE
Another example on passing, lead a guy all the way to the ooutside on an out route and a guy throws inside

Again all avoidable and some of it is common sense. For 1, if your Q.B's accuracy is piss poor or even just decent then expect every pass not to be on the money every single time. Also, common sense logic is also you can't expect to put it where you want it if your moving in the pocket. Scrambling and not having your feet planted will result in overthrows and underthrows. Again pretty obvious. I play a friend of mine who has the best madden minds I've ever seen. He uses his niners exclusively and he is automatic with Alex smith. His pocket presense is insane and he never overthrows. What I find about people who have gripes with SOME of the things in madden is most of the time "it's their fault", you can't expect perfection if your feet are not planted before a throw, you can't expect accuracy if your throwing on the run.

Fatigue is another thing with madden so if your running the ball constantly without incorperating a 2 RB system so both RB's are fresh then expect to fumble. If you truck stick into a pile then you might fumble. Easy ways to negate that is running a 2 RB's system and in piles "cover up the ball".

QUOTE
Now if i used Chad Pennington this would be quite understandable, but when im using arm stregnth qb's in the 90's this shouldnt happen

This is what I'm saying. Chad is actually a very good madden Q.B. He can't scramble but his accuracy is 94. He was the 5th accuracy rating in madden. What your saying is backwards. Tavaris Jackson has a 98 THP (throw power) but that means nothing when your trying to throw into tight coverage on a post because thats were you need accuracy which he was none. Arm strength doesn't matter when your throwing routes (in madden). Chad is automatic within 50 yards.

So again most of your problems are not E.A's fault their yours and don't think I'm favoring E.A because I'm their worst critic but most of your problems are self inflicted.

nice find. cant believe how low we are? 76 overall?

Bro team overalls mean nothing in madden. Detriot is one of the upper echlon teams in madden and their overall is garbage. The Browns aren't rated that high but in madden their nice to use. I don't even pay attention to overalls with players because speed and awareness mean everything. I'll probably play Justin at 2 just because of the speed factor and keep my higher awareness guys like Poteat at nickel for middle coverage.

Gholston could be a 75 overall and he'd still start because his speed for a LB will be nasty. I'm think 86ish.

This is how I focus on my schemes.

DB's- speed and awareness
LB- speed rules reguardless of high awareness or not
DE- strength/shed block/speed
S- awareness over anything

WR- height/hands/speed- forget about overalls (for instance if you play with the Skins there is a 68 WR by the name of Anthony Mix. I start him because of his size, 6'5) overalls don't mean a thing.

Q.B- it doesn't matter this is all personal preference. Some people like scramblers others are pocket passers. In 08 throw power dosn't mean much because the D is pretty good at covering long. This is all personal preference.

RB- speed means everything here unless your name is Marion Barber.

TE- you play your best one.

Basically overalls mean nothing.
