Now.. Cimini's logic is alittle skewed. I'm shocked that a man that covers the Jets FOR A LIVING isn't all that analytical. Mr Cimini... why does Chad throw a higher completion percentage?.. BECAUUUUUSE, Chad is a dink and dunk perfectionist. Clemens comp percentage would increase if he settled hitting 3 and 4 yard completions for a 3 an a half-hour game too. Sure Kellens % won't look as good on paper. I'm surprised Cimini is this "wet behind the ears".

I'll take a guy that opposing defense respect and don't cloud the box on which in turn will allow us to run better, I'll take a guy that has some mobility and can make plays on the run any day and twice on Sundays.

Georgia will win it, Stafford and Moreno are too much. Plus not to mention how great their OL is, I forget his name but their one OL is like a monster and probably will be a 1st or 2nd round pick. And They have a good defense too.

Tebow, Harvin, Moore, Murph, Rainey, Moody, Ingram, Hernandez, Thompson are too much. We also actually have a football coach, Richt is horrid.

They go on a stretch where they are @South Carolina, then across the country for an @Arizona State, to then come home to Bama.

Also play @Auburn late, and of course play UF in Jacksonville at the *beep*tail Bowl (they won't win)

Not to mention, if they survive that, they have the SEC Championship game. They have an above average OL, not great. Vance? He might be a top3 round pick. Asher Allen is their only playmaker on defense.

I just can't see them making it thru that schedule.

I dunno why any QB would come out their junior year, there are very few great junior QBs that make it in the NFL. Besides, it's better to have that degree if you turn out to be a bust.

I can tell you why this coming year, its because it is believed that this will be the last draft that there is not a rookie salary cap. So I would think you will see a ton of underclassman come out.

The part that confuses me about your argument is that according to Cimini, Clemen's average YPA is 12 vs Chads 10. With a 2 yard difference how can you honestly call Chad a dink and dunk artist while claiming Clemens is the opposite. That just makes no sense.

That being said, I agree with Cimini...Ill take 68% vs 52% ANY DAY OF THE WEEK.

Plus depending on whether you are a 'glass half full or half empty' type of guy then there are two ways to look at Clemens 4th quarter production. Either the man is clutch, or hes asleep for the first 3 quarters. If hes asleep for the first 3, then no thanks. "please refer to Washington vs Jets". Im not saying hes one or the other...Im just saying there are two ways you can look at this. I still need more time to come to a determination.

Acutally, I'm not even going to repeat myself. I'll just quote myself.

Chad only threw 5 balls ALL SEASON (last season ) over 25 yards. Hummm, lets see... As the defense sits prior to the snap there are about 15 to 20 yards from the line on scrimmage to the safeties. He only threw 3 balls outside of that. In essence, 95% of his balls thrown are right into the heart of the defense and thats IF, he's not dumping it 5 yards backwards to Leon or T.J in the flats.

Chads stats are skewed because he just lofts little 3 and 4 yarders around.

Negitives to the dink and dunk offense and please lets not confuse Chad Pennington football with Joe Montana west coast offense football. Chad is the very extreme of dink and dunk. I mean any more dink and we'll be dunking ourselves backwards. However not only is this offense not that extremely productive it also can hang people out to dry. Coles can thank Penny's little 7 yard floater for his concussion.

If all Chad does is hit 3 and 4 yard slants and curls not only is a good percentage of picks going for TD's (throwing into the heart of the defense) but thats what is going to get Cotch,Coles and anyone else for that matter KILLED.

This is another reason those stats are skewed.

Clemens never had the luxury of having a healthy Coles when he got his chance, so even further those stats are skewed. Cotchery is just not a #1 WR type guy. Clemens was throwing to Cotchery,McCareins,Baker and Wallace Wright..
