santana Icon : (02 January 2017 - 02:19 PM) texans coach? i doubt he gets fired
santana Icon : (02 January 2017 - 02:19 PM) but he would be ideal if the jets were to flush bowles out
santana Icon : (02 January 2017 - 04:36 PM) http://www.nj.com/je...trol_of_je.html
azjetfan Icon : (05 January 2017 - 09:54 PM) Sean Payton will get another HC gig. Obrien would be good.
azjetfan Icon : (09 January 2017 - 11:18 PM) Howard from Alabama seems legit. #88 TE
azjetfan Icon : (09 January 2017 - 11:20 PM) Williams the WR from Clemson looks like they are out to get him. He has taken some huge hits
vjdbbq Icon : (10 January 2017 - 07:12 AM) We'll take Williams in the first round .
Chadforpresi... Icon : (10 January 2017 - 10:48 AM) I'd love Howard in the 2nd round if he's still there. I like Williams a lot as well, but I just don't see WR being big enough of a need, and there should be better talent on the board at 6
Jetsfan115 Icon : (10 January 2017 - 07:21 PM) Raiders OC Musgrave not expected to return to OAK. what do you think about getting him? he did wonders with the oakland offense this year
Chadforpresi... Icon : (10 January 2017 - 07:39 PM) Definitely an appealing choice given with his history of progressing Carr. We need someone with a track record of grooming young QBs
MikeGangGree... Icon : (12 January 2017 - 12:36 PM) I want Watson now! after what he did Monday night I'm sold on him at QB. He moved the ball all night on Alabama and after hurts scored that TD he just told his team "Lets end this"
Jetsfan115 Icon : (12 January 2017 - 06:31 PM) An Ohio prosecutor says he wants to know what punishment Cincinnati Bengals player Adam "Pacman" Jones faces from the NFL before deciding how to proceed over Jones' latest arrest, Dan Sewell of the Associated Press reports..

Hamilton County Prosecutor Joe Deters tells WKRC-TV he's asking "what is the normal" for a player with multiple offenses and who's been suspended before.

An NFL spokesman said on Thursday that Jones' case is "under review" and declined to comment further.

Jones was jailed Jan. 3 on charges he head-butted police and spit on a nurse after his arrest for assault. Authorities say he was so combative he had to be placed in a restraint chair.

Jones says he anticipates the charges will be dismissed.
Jetsfan115 Icon : (12 January 2017 - 06:32 PM) we wont get watson. he's going 1st overall to the browns
azjetfan Icon : (12 January 2017 - 09:06 PM) Is Watson a product of Clemson's staff and supporting cast? Taj Boyd also put up some decent numbers if I remember correctly but he couldn't even make a scout team in the NFL.
azjetfan Icon : (12 January 2017 - 09:11 PM) From what I have read (although limited) he is not the highest ranked QB in the draft.
azjetfan Icon : (12 January 2017 - 09:11 PM) "No quarterback in this draft -- not Mitch Trubisky, not Watson, not DeShone Kizer -- is considered a sure thing. The folks at Scouts Inc. rank Trubisky, Watson and Kizer as the 21st, 38th and 46th prospects on their big board, respectively." ESPN
azjetfan Icon : (12 January 2017 - 09:12 PM) If we can get a decent return for Richardson we may be able to make a move into the mid teens to early 20s if the Brass really likes Watson.
azjetfan Icon : (12 January 2017 - 09:13 PM) Personally I don't think the jets have a clue on who they will take. We still have to hit FA and manage our roster
azjetfan Icon : (12 January 2017 - 11:46 PM) Jets to interview Broncos assistant Studesville for OC
Jetsfan115 Icon : (13 January 2017 - 01:28 PM) Why? seems like a weird choice
Jetsfan115 Icon : (13 January 2017 - 01:29 PM) Leonard Williams replacing Khalil Mack in Pro Bowl
Chadforpresi... Icon : (13 January 2017 - 09:49 PM) I'm not buying Watson, even after that championship game. Dude threw too many picks in his day
Chadforpresi... Icon : (13 January 2017 - 09:49 PM) I'm really curious to see what we get for Richardson, but I have a bad feeling his value is at an all time low between his crap season and bad attitude
azjetfan Icon : (14 January 2017 - 12:16 AM) I agree. He is a first round talent but a fourth round headache. We will be lucky to get a 2nd
Chadforpresi... Icon : (14 January 2017 - 08:41 AM) Yeah precisely. 2nd rounder would be a huge stretch. 3rd or 4th is more likely
vjdbbq Icon : (14 January 2017 - 02:18 PM) Send Sheldon someplace he will never see the playoffs ; like Jacksonville ; then he will have time to find da ho's .
azjetfan Icon : (14 January 2017 - 07:25 PM) R Sherman is getting torched by the Falcons.
vjdbbq Icon : (Yesterday, 09:37 AM) Pats vs Pitt - root for injuries
Jetsfan115 Icon : (Yesterday, 12:36 PM) GB-ATL game is gonna be a hell of a shootout. that throw rodgers made on 3rd and 20 with 12 seconds left in a tied game was ridiculous. 35 yards rolling out to his left a perfect placed ball on the sideline.
azjetfan Icon : (Yesterday, 10:50 PM) Winters resigned to 4 year deal. $7 million per year
Chadforpresi... Icon : (Yesterday, 10:51 PM) Seems like a slightly steep price but overall cool with it, he's turned into a good player and is still young. Just needs to stay healthy.

yeah well having common sense and an education usually helps you determine your self what you consider news to be important or not
plus their are other valuable sources.. one I'm into lately

www.therealnews.com

you seem to be someone who is into conspiracies.. is that why you have that alien there waving at me?

That last line is funny to me. I have been looking at alternative news since the 80's and have never trusted man's government since they shot JFK I was 7.
don't be fool by the education you have paid the conspirators to brain wash you on so many levels . do a google search of mkultra mind control you will be shocked to know that it took place right there out at montauk . also check social engineering they can control whole populations or group mind control.
there are 1000's of sites but we still have to be careful and sift through for a grain of truth.

Now that a "black" man is President, will black people stop blaming "the man" for holding them back and start doing what Bill Cosby said they should be doing?

PS Not that I like to proliferate stereotypes but did you guys hear that Obama wants to install a basketball court in the White House?! How f***ing funny is that? What's next? Instead of Airforce 1 he's going to get a tinted out Escalade with 22s and TVs in the headrests?

Ahhhh can't define staunch what should my small pea brain do? Attack the other person and change it to stench. YOU CAN'T EVEN SPELL REAGAN, stop while you are very far behind.

Wow I refer to a 'target population,' you proceed to not process what that means. If I didn't used to be a conservative I would swear they were all borderline Hellen Kellers
Did you really want this to become president--->

How dumb are you? I used stench because your post stinks. LOL Get it? I know what staunch is. Do you? Apparently not. So I misspelled Reagan. WOW. Explain to us dummies what "target" means. Where you getting the money ?? Your not a pea brain, your something else, I just have'nt figured out what. If you dont like being attacked then dont attack others. Now let me wipe off your cry baby tears. hehe

Okay so I've digested the election. Now I feel it's time for me to say something. Let me start off first by making it clear that I did not vote for Barack Obama, as I said previously, I'm worried about his lack of experience though I do like his potential. Frankly, overall I just didn't like the choices for president this time around. The great thing about this country is that you get to voice your opinion on who you want to see run your country, but you know what, for all of those people here that voted McCain like I did; tough f***ing shit. That's why there are elections. Whether you like it or not, come January, Barack Obama is going to be the president of the United States. Now whether or not he will become a good president or not remains to be seen obviously since he still has two and a half months before he enters the White House, but I think it's truly pathetic when I see idiots saying, writing, posting, or updating their facebook status' too shit like "We're screwed". Why, because your guy didn't win? Why? Has Obama proven he couldn't deliver yey? No he hasn't. If you think of yourself as an American, no matter who you voted for or how you feel, you owe it to your country to get behind your new president and back him up in these hard times. It's truly sad how divided our country is from we the American citizens, all the way up to where Republicans and Democrats are practically enemies when they are supposed to be two components of the same team. I don't care if you live here, I don't care if you're a legal citizen, to me if you're going to come down on Obama before he even takes office, without giving him a chance to prove himself in office, and show us why he should be President of the United States, then quite frankly, you're not a true American. And please by all means, if hes in office for several months and is failing to deliver, by all means, come down on him. But he deserves a chance to prove himself, so give him that.

Im sure you all heard about all the huge crowds of black people that happended everywhere once Obama was elected president right??

Okay, well after watching the news the other night, I found it pretty amazing how many of them DIDNT KNOW SHIT ABOUT THE WHOLE ELECTION AND ONLY VOTED FOR OBAMA CAUSE HE WAS BLACK. The reporter would go up to some of the guys and ask them trick questions to see if they actually paid any attention and ask " So, how do you feel about having a female as your vice president now?" Most of them replied with an answer such as " Its no big deal " or " Its all good " or " I have no problem with it "

I just find it funny how a lot of people ( not only black people ) only voted for Obama because he is black and paid NO attention as to what was actually going on.

This is not a racist post or anything so please dont think that. Im just sharing with you all what I watched the other night and wondering what you all thought about this..

I'm sure there were a number of people who voted Republican, who did so because they were uneasy about having a black president, as well though.

In elections there's always going to be people voting who don't have the slightest clue about the policies of each of the candidates.

Anyone who thinks Obama didn't get votes just because he was black is very naive person. But lets be fair, I'm sure there were also alot of people voting against him because he was black too. Did anyone besides me notice that pretty much all of Dixie voted McCain?

Ofcourse I know he got votes just cause he was black and I know he didnt get votes cause he was black. I just find it shocking how little some people pay attention to something so important you know?

It just blows my mind..

It is mind blowing but it should be stated, in truth, that more people voted in McCains favor because Obama was black and not in Obamas, so what you saw on TV with people not knowing much about Obama, that was a trap so Conservative TV can say it was a biased election.
The best example I can give you is this, I go to a farming school(for computers) and in one of my classes we needed to make a video with interviews about who the students were voting for. I tried to pull the same tricks and watching all the students videos I heard a wide range of responces. In all honesty, it was the blacks in the school who had the most intelligent answers, knowing about his policys and plans, and even when I[or someone else] would say 'So you're happy that he wants to stay in the war?' 11 out of 12 interviewed told me he wasn't for the war, they knew.

But then when the farm kids, each of which proudly displays a Confederate flag on their walls, were interviewed, I'd have to say about 20 responded that their voting for McCain cuz Obama was black.

I must truly say, people can say 'Im not being racist' or anything like that, but thats the only way it can be taken, because what your really saying is that black people are too stupid to vote, I mean...COME ON! You don't need to watch TV all day to know somethings wrong, so all long as someones offering a 'Change We Need' then thats all you need to know, we need change. I don't see how you can justify 'Im not being racist, but black people don't deserve to vote' when in all honesty, their being biased is not even equaling out how all the Dixiecrats were biasedly voting McCain. It seems like some people want the Three-Fifths Compromise re-instilled or something.

I also think as a bottom line, some of you just need to accept that Obama was the best candidate for the good of the country, and he won, and just get over it if you have any problems, just so we don't have this thread lingering until 2012.

With the whole change issue, one of the biggest criticisms - and a well founded one at that, is the fact at first he was being quite vague and ambiguous, using the 'change' dialogue to win over the masses.

Every politician who entered the nomination race was proposing change, even McCain. You don't win elections - particularly when the incumbent President/Prime Minister - is not up for re-election by espousing unchanged policies. It just doesn't work like that.

Obama has won me over though because in recent weeks he has made his policies more specific, and McCain has shot himself in the foot. However, I am yet to be 100% convinced of Obama. To me, change will be slow to see, particularly in economic circles, because of the situation America finds herself in currently.

Black people are giving intelligent answers in farming schools, voting and becoming Presidents. I think it's safe to say that they "caught up" and it's past time we scrape those racist affirmative action laws.

PS How does this affect me using the "N" word? Can I use it more freely now? Clearly a landslide vote for Obama shows that we're not racist as a whole, so when we use the "N" word as a whole, we use it in the post-modern term, ala Jay Z and all those other multimillionaires we grew up listening to. Right? S Dubbs? Mr Jet? Reg? Can we get an official ruling on this? Thanks!

Right? S Dubbs? Mr Jet? Reg? Can we get an official ruling on this? Thanks!

official ruling?

I also think as a bottom line, some of you just need to accept that Obama was the best candidate for the good of the country, and he won, and just get over it if you have any problems, just so we don't have this thread lingering until 2012.

Obama was not the best candidate for the good of the country.. HE WAS THE ONLY CANDIDATE. It didnt matter if Obama was black, white, orange, yellow, red or whatever.. McCain was NEVER going to win. it was over before this whole election even started. There was no way we the people were going to have another republican as our president after what has happened over the past few years. Our ecomony when to SHIT. And thats why McCain lost. It didnt matter what he said or what he promised he was going to do. Its not because people looked at mcCain like he was another Bush. Its because he is a republican. Plain and simple.

Now Obama said change is going to come. And thats all we needed to hear. Cause this country needs it. HOW is he going to bring change? WHAT does he plan to change? Its funny, everyone is all pumped up and happy that change is coming. Okay good for you, you should be happy. But do any of you even know what kinda changes he plans on making? Its just funny because if you go up to someone and ask why they voted for Obama or why they are happy he is our next president.. I can promise you 99% of those people will say cause he brings change to our country.. And then you ask what kinda changes does he plan to make, 90 % of those people wont have a fuckin clue..

If you ask me, this election was wack. Neither McCain or Obama is the right man for the Job. But of the two, I am Glad Obama won. As he has the most promise to turn the country around. But, he has a huge task ahead of him and im hoping for the best. And thats all we can hope for. And im on his side with whatever he decides to do. Hes going to need all of us to help make this country better.

I agree with almost everything you have said here, except I am not glad he won instead of McCain. But I will support him for now and hope the "change" is the kind I am hoping for. But I cant help but wonder how many of the Obama supporters would have supported McCain if he had won...

Do I have to make you look foolish in two different threads now? I have two words to answer your baseless "whitle guilt" claim. Cynthia McKinney. She was on the ballot in all 50 states and D.C. Her skin is darker than Obama's (should have meant more guilt votes right?) She also is a woman so she should have got some votes because of "male guilt." If all this were the case McKinney should have won in a landslide. To take a saying from our old buddy Kobeskool

Obama > McCain, just accept it.

By the way, you might want to keep yourself stocked with some good lube for the next 8 years. If Obama is as good at basketball as people say he is, he probably has alot of stamina.

I didn't know I blamed "the man" for holding me back. Hell I didn't even know I was being held back. Thanks for informing me. If you think having a black man as President will get rid of racism on either side you're sadly mistaken. There will always be racism as long as we continue to sweep it under the rug and ignore it. You should stop watching those Homie D. Clown sketches on those In Living Color reruns. I haven't heard one black person ever in real life call white people "the man." This isn't 1991.

Oh yeah and about the basketball court in the White House let's look at our past few Presidents and see if you can imagine any of them playing basketball on even a regular basis. Bush 43 likes baseball and could care less about basketball, Clinton was young but a fat guy, Bush 41, Reagan, Carter, Ford, Nixon, and Johnson were all old men by the time they became President. Kennedy was young but had really bad back problems. Eisenhower and Truman were old and Roosevelt was in a wheelchair. I don't see any of our Presidents from the past 70 years enjoying playing a game you have to do a lot of running back and forth to play. That's why they've played golf.

Ofcourse I know he got votes just cause he was black and I know he didnt get votes cause he was black. I just find it shocking how little some people pay attention to something so important you know?

It just blows my mind..

Yeah it blew my mind too in 2000 when the more "experienced" guy (Al Gore) lost to the less "experienced" guy (George W. Bush) because a large group of people (faux-Christians) voted for somebody that they saw as being one of them (Bush says he is a born again Christian).

This isn't anything new dude. Americans don't pay attention until their wallets start getting lighter.

Let me let you in on a little secret before you continue to whine about Affirmative action....come close...closer.....closer.....AFFIRMATIVE ACTION HELPS MORE WOMEN THAN BLACK PEOPLE!!! But then again it's much easier to ignore Jessica Quinn and believe the reason I can't get into the college of my choice is because Tyrone Jenkins took my spot. It's funny how people of all ethnic groups have been kept out of universities because of things like "legacies" but we get our panties all in a bunch over affirmative action.

I'll take the bait. You can use the "N" word all you want. Go ahead and knock yourself out. Just remember when you call me (and I'm just speaking for myself here) that word, I'm going to ask you not to call me that word ever again. But if you insist on continuing to call me the "N" word, I'm going to knock your ass out. But that's just me and it doesn't matter to me if it ends with an "a" or an "er." That also goes for black people and Latinos and everybody else too.

Jay Z can say whatever he wants because he figured out like Diddy and Dr. Dre did, that if he has his own record label with 10 rappers under him all using the "N" word, a portion of the sells from each one of those rappers will go to him. Making himself even richer as a label owner than he would be just by remaining a rapper alone. Jay Z knew that those suburban white kids who want to be cool, would be his way of becoming a multimillionaire. Something white record label owners have known and profited from since the 1980s.

There are a few things I have realized about Mr. Jet over a few topics.

1) He is a racist. By constantly using race as a battling tool.
2) He is an extreme Liberal. If you are on either extreme you are probabaly more wrong than right.
3) He is one of those people who will never admit fault, error or defeat.
4)His life sucks and he takes it out on people who don't share in his views.

That's great. Lets scrap the portion of affirmative action for blacks (although you play it down, it is a significant leg up when you can get into the same school with a 900 SAT score that requires your peer to score 1200 or when you show up to an interview along with 6 other qualified people but the employer MUST hire you if everything else is equal) and let the women continue to reap the same benefits until Condie Rice runs for President.

Would you knock Jay Z out if he called you a *beep*?
