Jets are doing jets related things also... THE KNICKS.
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 11:59 PM) yeah but hes white and a patriot
santana Icon : (Today, 12:00 AM) goodell is busy banning handbags from stadiums
santana Icon : (Today, 12:00 AM) this country is priming its self for a massive protest this handbag shit is retarded
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 12:01 AM) They are so f***ing stupid
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 12:01 AM) Like people need more reasons to stay at home for the game
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 12:02 AM) Honestly, at this point, the only way I'd go to an NFL game was A. Free tickets B. Tickets were close enough to the field that I felt like I could heckle a player and be heard
santana Icon : (Today, 12:02 AM) its not stupid its actually genius
santana Icon : (Today, 12:02 AM) the problem is i know for sure the evil genius behind it is dan snyder and other owners pushing for this shit
santana Icon : (Today, 12:02 AM) they want their new stadiums to inhale your money from the minute you enter its zipcode
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 12:03 AM) Genius in the sense that you force people to spend more money
santana Icon : (Today, 12:03 AM) right
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 12:03 AM) Baseball stadiums started doing this since right after 9/11
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 12:03 AM) I used to go to Mets games as a kid with a subway hero
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 12:04 AM) Now I gotta drop $30 for a burger with fries
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 12:04 AM) You know what I do? Not go to the fuckin games LOL
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 12:04 AM) And it's not just me because the Mets suck, Yankees can't sell out anymore at all
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 12:04 AM) Shit, even Mets vs Yankees wasn't sold out
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 12:04 AM) That never happened in the 90s
santana Icon : (Today, 12:04 AM) ghetto fries
santana Icon : (Today, 12:05 AM) whats amusing is at nationals stadium the staff is the worst
santana Icon : (Today, 12:05 AM) they don't give a shit
santana Icon : (Today, 12:05 AM) specially sunday morning
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 12:06 AM) How so?
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 12:06 AM) Do they make you watch the Nationals?
santana Icon : (Today, 12:06 AM) every time they handed me my food or what not then i had to go to the register to pay i just walked away because the queue was too long
santana Icon : (Today, 12:06 AM) people running the registers just go super slow
santana Icon : (Today, 12:07 AM) no one there is in charge of making sure the customers are following the process
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 12:11 AM) Wait, you pay after you get your food?
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 12:11 AM) How does that even work?
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 12:11 AM) Everywhere you pay when you place your order
santana Icon : (Today, 12:12 AM) well its decided getting some booze tomorrow afternoon and drinking every time i head lebron's head band referenced
santana Icon : (Today, 12:12 AM) like i said the concession stands are a mess
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 12:12 AM) You might die
santana Icon : (Today, 12:12 AM) there were multiple people behind the counter
santana Icon : (Today, 12:13 AM) so you could just go up to it and ask for what you wanted and 1 out of the 5 people would be on a single register
santana Icon : (Today, 12:13 AM) so eventually you were just handed your food
santana Icon : (Today, 12:13 AM) expecting for someone to approach the register you were standing infront to charge you
santana Icon : (Today, 12:13 AM) or you were led to believe maybe you had to go line up to the one that had a cashier with people already waiting on it
santana Icon : (Today, 12:14 AM) so a lot of the times when i was just handed the food i requested i would stand there look around see them go back to being distracted on their boost mobile phones or whatever reason and walked away
santana Icon : (Today, 12:14 AM) i got 6 pretzels like this for the group i was with and 3 hot dogs
santana Icon : (Today, 12:15 AM) my ticket one time had like 5$ towards concessions or what not their scanner wasnt working at the register so it wasnt reading it right or she didnt know what she was doing. she tried to scan it 3 times then litterally just turned away so i was standing there asking if it was all good no one answered so i just walked away with the food
santana Icon : (Today, 12:18 AM) probably doesn't help that they are hiring people from one of the worst parts of dc
santana Icon : (Today, 12:19 AM) in fact all the stadiums in dc are in very low income areas probably to exploit this work force
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 12:31 AM) No stadiums are in low income areas because that's how they get municipal bonds to finance construction. "Look, we're giving black people jobs! Pay for our stadium!!!"
santana Icon : (Today, 12:32 AM) right

1. Titans (10-0) (1): Kerry Collins leads impressive second-half comeback against Jags to keep Titans unbeaten in advance of Sunday’s home game against the Jets. Looks like Boland might have his work cut out trying to concentrate on the game. Btw, Boland live chat at 11 a.m. today. Be there.

2. Giants (9-1) (2): So much for the Ravens being able to contain the Giants’ running game, which churned out 207 yards and two TDs in a 30-10 walkover.

3. Panthers (8-2) (3): Panthers struggle a bit to get past Lions, but maintain one-game lead in NFC South.

4. Stillers (7-3) (4): So, did you have the Steelers to cover? :-)

5. Buccaneers (7-3) (5): Terrific effort against the Vikings at home, as ever-efficient Jeff Garcia leads the way to keep Bucs within striking distance of Panthers and stay in control of wild card race.

6. Jets (7-3) (12): Maybe Brett Favre was getting a little carried away when he put his win over the Patriots at or near the top of his list of big games, but his excitement was understandable. Jets take huge step in beating arch rivals on road in prime time.

7. Cardinals (7-3) (11): Long-suffering Cardinals fan Chicago Norm still has his doubts, but Cardinals are getting ready to sell playoff tix.

8. Colts (6-4) (10): That’s three wins in their last four games for a Colts team still hanging in despite injuries and early-season suckiness. (Can I use that word? … Well, I just did. That’s been a goal of mine for quite some time now.)

9. Patriots (6-4) (6): After losing to Jets at home, another big AFC East game for Pats: on the road against the 6-4 Dolphins.

10. Ravens (6-4) (7): Ray Lewis & Co. succumb to the elements: Earth, Wind and Fire.

11. Cowboys (6-4) (14): Tony Romo is back and all is right with the Cowboys. At least in a narrow victory at Washington.

12. Falcons (6-4) (8): Defense fails Falcons in second half against Broncos.

13. Redskins (6-4) (9): Back down to earth for Redskins? It wasn’t long ago they were 4-1.

14. Dolphins (6-4) (17): Dolphins really putting our no-such-thing-as-winning-ugly theory to the test. Chad Pennington barely ekes out home win against Raiders.

15. Broncos (6-4) (18): Jay Cutler finds a way in the fourth quarter in Hot ‘Lanta, as Broncos now enjoy two-game lead in AFC West.

16. Iggles (5-4-1) (13): So, games can really end in a tie? Donovan McNabb learns something new every day.

17. Packers (5-5) (19): Aaron Rodgers is solid, Ryan Grant is brilliant, and the defense is even better in a home rout of Da Bears.

18. Vikings (5-5) (16): After dispiriting loss in Tampa, Vikes now await word on possible suspensions of key defensive linemen.

19. Bears (5-5) (15): So much for Kyle Orton as savior.

20. Saints (5-5) (21): Saints do just enough to beat Chiefs on the road. Even so, this team looks dead in the water.

21. Jaguars (4-6) (23): Jags were close to upset of Titans. Just not close enough.

22. Browns (4-6) (25): Brady Quinn looks solid again in leading Browns to victory over Bills.

23. Bills (5-5) (20): Wide right from 47 yards out. Sound familiar, Bills’ fans?

24. Chargers (4-6) (22): No offense in the ‘Burgh.

25. 49ers (3-7) (27): Mike Singletary gets first win as head coach as Niners thump woeful Rams.

26. Texans (3-7) (24): Defense gets carved up by Peyton Manning.

27. Seahawks (2-8) (26): Matt Hasselbeck’s return doesn’t help Seahawks against surging Cardinals.

28. Bengals (1-8-1) (28): Bengals now 9-2-1 in last 12 at home against NFC teams. That’s about the only bright spot for this woebegone franchise. Woebegone – who the hell do I think I am, Garrison Keillor?

29. Chiefs (1-9) (29): Only question now is whether Carl Peterson and Herman Edwards make it to next season.

30. Raiders (2-8) (31): Jim Fassel would love to coach the Raiders. This question is: why?

31. Rams (2-8) (30): Highly unlikely Jim Haslett comes back next season.

32. Lions (0-10) (32): I’ve had enough with these guys. How many years has it been trying to come up with one-liners about the worst team in football? I’m done.
“We know we’re better than you, we don’t give a f*ck if you know it or not, we don’t give a sh*t if you give us your best game, we’re gonna give you our best game and we’re gonna beat the f*ck outta ya. How’s that?”

I still think they're better than the Stillers but this is pretty fair.

I really don't think the Bucs are that good, I think the Jets should be 5 actually, but I'll take 6 until we beat the Titans cool.gif

I'm not complaining at 6. I think all seems fair right now. The Bucs are a bit high but like I said. Everything seems pretty on par.

Agreed. This year, you could argue that there's no one team in the NFL who are leaps and bounds better than the rest. Obviously the Titans are undefeated, but they've not been destroying teams.

It's shaping up to be one interesting January because it's so close, I don't think the seeding will determine much.
