Analysis: Titans vs. Solid Defenses
Posted on November 18th, 2008 by Andrew Weiss Just a couple of statistics to add to the discussion. The Titans have played three games against arguably good defenses (especially against the run). These were against Minnesota, Chicago and Baltimore. In these games their average rushing per game was 95.3 yards. Their overall offense in these three games was an average of 267.6 yards.
In these three games, the opposition committed eight turnovers. Still, they won two of the games by only a field goal. The exception, the Vikings game, ended 30-17 after four Minnesota turnovers.
