Im no tree hugger, but I saw this and figured Id share, how many of you guys live in apartment complexes that have stacks of like ten high sitting in the hallway waiting to be thrown away?

I totally agree and will forward on to many friends. It ridiculous the amount of phone books pumped out, I get three different ones. (PIGS) and really dont even use them. Everyone has a cell phone and it is easier to look a number up on line than leafing through a 10 lb. useless piece of shit. Great Idea!!!!!!!!!!

They don't actually go into forests any more to cut down trees. The papers comes from trees grown on tree farms. We have more forestation than we did 100 years ago.

unless you live in California , maybe we should send the phones books to the white house congress and the supreme court house then until there is no available space .
Becuase that place is a much bigger waste.
