Jetsfan0099 you were right. Brick is our most improved player this year. Yes he gave up a sack yesterday, but he had to handle Haynesworth and Vanden bosch on the play. I was just listening to Sirius, Adam Shein and Marty Schott had Tony Richardson on. Marty, of course, talks to his son quite a bit and he asked Tony if Brick was the most improved player on the line. Tony said he was always the last guy in weight room in the offseason (as you said jetsfan0099) and he is without a doubt having the best season of his career. He went on to say with the turnover on the line it was a given it was going to be the last entity of the team to gel.

They have offically gelled.

What did Schein say? He said how Brick was terrible this year and the reason for our offensive line problems at the beginning of the season.

Our OL is looking good, I can't believe how good they are playing right now. Its like it just clicked and they have been dominant. Thats the chemistry working at its best, bringing in Faneca and Woody helped with that, as they both stressed chemistry on the OL. Thats why my avatar is still this picture, because I felt our season was going to ride on these big boys backs.

I love the fact Brick and Mangold are playing so well, both are 24 yrs old. Both are going to be Jets for a long time. I believe we have to get Long term contracts to Leon and Mangold next season? Leon is a FA after next season, Mangold has 2 more seasons right? But they should get Mangold one as soon as possible for a cheaper deal.
