Jets are doing jets related things also... THE KNICKS.
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 01:55 PM) Teammates talking shut about Sanchez
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 02:11 PM) In case you haven't heard, because why would anyone report on the Giants, Nicks is also holding out
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 02:11 PM) That makes both Cruz and Nicks.
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 02:11 PM) But who cares, Sanchez threw 3 "interceptions"!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 02:59 PM) ?
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 02:59 PM) why would we give a f*** about the Giants?
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 03:04 PM) gg03 jimmies are riled
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 03:21 PM) You're not in NY. All the backpages are focused on Sanchez
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 03:21 PM) None of the NY media even mention Cruz or Nicks
Jetsfan115 Icon : (Yesterday, 03:40 PM) nicks isn't holding out. he's injured still and taking it easy. cruz is holding out. why it isn't a big ordeal IDK. it would be for us
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 04:02 PM) maybe because theyre not that far off.
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 04:02 PM) Cruz wants to return back, they'll figure it out.
Jetsfan115 Icon : (Yesterday, 04:41 PM) 3 mil a year off or 30% less then cruz wants. tahst alot of money to be off
Jetsfan115 Icon : (Yesterday, 04:41 PM) cruz doens't want to leave NY cause teh extra money he'll get in endorsements plus he knows taht they can RFA him this year and then Franchise next year so he might not be able to get a LTD for 3 years
Mr_Jet Icon : (Yesterday, 05:21 PM) Clemens11/Tebow15 (soon to be Smith7) said if we had just drafted Crabtree and Nicks and kept Clemens, we'd be good.
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 06:44 PM) No, he can't be Smith7
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 06:44 PM) his name is reserved for garbage QBs, we don't want Geno to be bad
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 06:44 PM) He can be McElroy14
extmenace Icon : (Yesterday, 06:51 PM) we're taking bridgewater next year with the number 1 pick and treating geno like a jimmy clausen.
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 06:53 PM) What makes Bridgewater better than Geno?
HurricaneJet32 Icon : (Yesterday, 07:12 PM) everything
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 07:56 PM) ^
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 08:16 PM) college players always get hyped up before the draft process, just wondering what makes him so much better.
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 08:19 PM) Stronger arm, plays in a pro system, better throwing motion, better athlete
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 08:19 PM) there's probably nothing Geno does right now that's better than what Teddy does
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 10:25 PM) Wouldn't it be funny with Bridgewater ends up having the type of season Barkley had?
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 07:48 AM) better athlete but never runs as well
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 07:48 AM) stronger arm but rarely throws deep
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 07:48 AM) I am trying to find this article, but Bridgewater had about the least amount of 40+ throws in college football
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 07:49 AM) I wouldn't surprise me if he wasn't viewed as highly next year. College players always get hyped up a year before the draft process. People change their opinions quickly.
Jetsman05 Icon : (Today, 07:56 AM) I'll put a good amount of money that Bridgewater is still highly regarded coming out next year.
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 08:00 AM) ok I found the chart
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 08:00 AM) Bridgewater had 0% of his passes go 40+ yards in college
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 08:02 AM) he could be, I'll wait though
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 08:02 AM) I doubt Smith will be as bad as Clausen anyways
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 08:03 AM) I remember watching Clausen in a NFL game and the guy couldn't even throw a spiral.
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 08:03 AM) Geno has been impressing teammates with how well he can spin the ball and sling it.
Jetsman05 Icon : (Today, 08:31 AM) I hope Geno turns out to be a f***ing monster
Jetsfan115 Icon : (Today, 10:52 AM) andrew luck was hyped up for like 3 years before he entered teh draft
Jetsman05 Icon : (Today, 11:34 AM) tehhhh
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 11:37 AM) it wasn't for 3 years and Andrew Luck is the best QB prospect to come out in years. Teddy Bridgewater most likely isn't Luck or RGIII
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 11:40 AM) I've only seen Bridgewater play once. That was against Florida, I actually watched that game.
Jetsman05 Icon : (Today, 12:12 PM) Teddy will be a good NFL QB I think
MikeGangGree... Icon : (Today, 12:52 PM) THE KNICKS

Anyone have any thoughts or knowledge if Revis will be covering Marshall?

I have been thinking about this matchup for weeks. If anyone else here has seen Marshall in action he is fast becoming an elite receiver and is looking to be the next Moss or TO from what I have seen this year.Hopefully without TO`s issues though.
This is his third year in the league and I have seen a good many Denver games over the years and I dont remember him standing out like he is this year. Maybe alot of his recent success has to do with the machuration of Cutler but either way Marshall has some mad skills.

Revis is shutdown but Marshall scares me.Marshall has Revis by four inches and thirty pounds and has hands like glue.

I am more interested in this matchup than any Revis has faced or will face all season.

Cutler is a great qb when he is on but Marshall is the only reason Denver scares me at all.I am sure the defense can shutdown the rest of Denver`s offense. I respect Marshall as a player but I hope Revis can make Marshall feel like he is Revis' bitch

He'll be a problem but Revis is the answer. Revis has covered Moss,Fitzgerald,Boldin,Chad Johnson so I think we'll be ok. However, it's not Marshall that scares me. What scares me is pass happy teams. Denver is pass happy and I can really see them lighting us up. They will now going in that they can't run. Once they are in pass mode we'll get lit up. We are horrible against the pass and Mike Shanahan will make Lowery his personal b*tch for the day. He'll pick on Barrett,Lowery and Poteat all afternoon. So Marshall is not really as much a concern as our inability to cover TE's (and they have a good one). Cutler will have a 400 yard game against our pass defense..

This game scares me

However, their defense is not exactly stout. If we can just run the ball effectively like we have all season(I mean, D-Slob won't be stopping it anytime soon) and have another game where we hold the ball for about 40 minutes, we will win.

We also have the Leon Effect.

These guys just got their tails handed to them by the Oakland Raiders at home (I think). There is no way we would have lost to Oakland at home. My biggest concern is that the jets will be flat after laying it all down for 2 big games in 10 days. We can afford one loss maybe 2 the rest of the way to assure a home playoff game. I have a feeling that we are not going to be just a wildcard and lose that game which is the BEST Pennington could have done under the best circumstances.

I agree that Revis should be the one covering Marshall. Law did brilliantly against Moss, but he has played him numerous times before so that would certainly have helped him. With Marshall, I doubt Law has much knowledge of playing him, even though he was in Kansas City for two years because Marshall only became a starter last year.
Revis has shown he can handle the elite receivers in the league, so I think we should be confident he can do a fine job covering Marshall.

Their passing attack is a handful though with Eddie Royal having a great rookie season, but if the D can stop their running game and force the Broncos into relying heavily on the pass then Cutler is prone to making mistakes, which our opportunistic D could capitalise on.

I think the game could be a pretty high scoring affair though. They did just lose to Oakland at home, but that's only going to mean they come into the Meadowlands with a chip on their shoulders.

With the return of Harris, our pass rush will be a notch better so I think Cutler may not have time to pass for 400 like you say Dubb. Jenkins alone can contain any running so thats gonna leave the LB's free to cover and pass rush.

It's one of the worst Ds in the league, especially against the run. DRob is their big run stopper!

tell me about it, i've been worried about this matchup since week 6 when champ baily mentioned how marshall has all the tools he need to practice with, he also mentioned that he have a hard time against him in practice too so if revis shut him down, revis is truly shut down
"can you feel whats about to happen on this field, can ya'll feel thay?"
