Jets are doing jets related things also... THE KNICKS.
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 03:21 PM) You're not in NY. All the backpages are focused on Sanchez
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 03:21 PM) None of the NY media even mention Cruz or Nicks
Jetsfan115 Icon : (Yesterday, 03:40 PM) nicks isn't holding out. he's injured still and taking it easy. cruz is holding out. why it isn't a big ordeal IDK. it would be for us
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 04:02 PM) maybe because theyre not that far off.
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 04:02 PM) Cruz wants to return back, they'll figure it out.
Jetsfan115 Icon : (Yesterday, 04:41 PM) 3 mil a year off or 30% less then cruz wants. tahst alot of money to be off
Jetsfan115 Icon : (Yesterday, 04:41 PM) cruz doens't want to leave NY cause teh extra money he'll get in endorsements plus he knows taht they can RFA him this year and then Franchise next year so he might not be able to get a LTD for 3 years
Mr_Jet Icon : (Yesterday, 05:21 PM) Clemens11/Tebow15 (soon to be Smith7) said if we had just drafted Crabtree and Nicks and kept Clemens, we'd be good.
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 06:44 PM) No, he can't be Smith7
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 06:44 PM) his name is reserved for garbage QBs, we don't want Geno to be bad
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 06:44 PM) He can be McElroy14
extmenace Icon : (Yesterday, 06:51 PM) we're taking bridgewater next year with the number 1 pick and treating geno like a jimmy clausen.
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 06:53 PM) What makes Bridgewater better than Geno?
HurricaneJet32 Icon : (Yesterday, 07:12 PM) everything
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 07:56 PM) ^
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 08:16 PM) college players always get hyped up before the draft process, just wondering what makes him so much better.
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 08:19 PM) Stronger arm, plays in a pro system, better throwing motion, better athlete
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 08:19 PM) there's probably nothing Geno does right now that's better than what Teddy does
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 10:25 PM) Wouldn't it be funny with Bridgewater ends up having the type of season Barkley had?
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 07:48 AM) better athlete but never runs as well
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 07:48 AM) stronger arm but rarely throws deep
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 07:48 AM) I am trying to find this article, but Bridgewater had about the least amount of 40+ throws in college football
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 07:49 AM) I wouldn't surprise me if he wasn't viewed as highly next year. College players always get hyped up a year before the draft process. People change their opinions quickly.
Jetsman05 Icon : (Today, 07:56 AM) I'll put a good amount of money that Bridgewater is still highly regarded coming out next year.
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 08:00 AM) ok I found the chart
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 08:00 AM) Bridgewater had 0% of his passes go 40+ yards in college
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 08:02 AM) he could be, I'll wait though
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 08:02 AM) I doubt Smith will be as bad as Clausen anyways
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 08:03 AM) I remember watching Clausen in a NFL game and the guy couldn't even throw a spiral.
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 08:03 AM) Geno has been impressing teammates with how well he can spin the ball and sling it.
Jetsman05 Icon : (Today, 08:31 AM) I hope Geno turns out to be a f***ing monster
Jetsfan115 Icon : (Today, 10:52 AM) andrew luck was hyped up for like 3 years before he entered teh draft
Jetsman05 Icon : (Today, 11:34 AM) tehhhh
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 11:37 AM) it wasn't for 3 years and Andrew Luck is the best QB prospect to come out in years. Teddy Bridgewater most likely isn't Luck or RGIII
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 11:40 AM) I've only seen Bridgewater play once. That was against Florida, I actually watched that game.
Jetsman05 Icon : (Today, 12:12 PM) Teddy will be a good NFL QB I think
MikeGangGree... Icon : (Today, 12:52 PM) THE KNICKS
Jetsman05 Icon : (Today, 01:21 PM) THE. KNICKS.
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 02:43 PM) Geno was the favorite to win the Heisman this time last year
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 02:44 PM) He was also a Top 5 pick this time last year
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 02:44 PM) If he came out in 2012, he might have gotten drafted before RG3
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 02:56 PM) TEH KNICKS
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 03:25 PM) noway he would have been drafted before RGIII
HarlemHxC814 Icon : (Today, 04:00 PM) Tehhhh
Jetsfan115 Icon : (Today, 04:12 PM) chuck norris said tebow is a great QB. i'm so conflicted becuase tebow sucks but on the other hand if chuck norris said it, it must be true lol

Anyone here watch Ultimate Fighting besides me here? If so, who's your pick for the fight tonight? Liddell or Couture? I'm rooting for Liddell by Judges Decision.

It used to be so much better. I have UFC 1-4 on tape and its crazy. I seen like the first 8 or so but then stopped because they weren’t coming on PPV anymore but then all of a sudden I seen like UFC number 30 and it all changed. Back at the beginning there was no weight class. I seen 2 fight that put skinny guys (like 150-170 pounds) against sumo wrestlers (300-350lbs) it was crazy. People got messed up badly. One guy broke his hand from hitting the other guy on the back of the head so much and the ref didn’t stop it. Then when he broke his hand he started elbowing the guy. And in another fight this guy was on the groung on hos hands and knees trying to get up and the other guy kickeh him in the mouth and a couple of his teeth went flying out. My friends though it was faked until they seen that. I don’t like it too much anymore its become kinda a spectacle like wrestling and sadly boxing. I’m really young (20 years old) but I miss the good old days. I used to watch mike Tyson box since I was a kid and he was mighty mike Tyson. Now he is a phsyco and hardly as good as he was. Its really sad to watch sports u used to love get changed and u start losing interest. I hope the NFL doesn’t do anything like that.

No I haven’t. I still like it but not like I used to. Not worth paying 45 dollars on PPV for it. I can watch them later on the fox sports channels or rent them from netflix. I don’t know if u seen the originals but u should. They are way better

Jetsfan115,

I am not calling you out or anything like that.
I agree that some of the older fights were a little more violent, gruesome and sickening, but the UFC is attempting to be a respected sport. You may not see a 500 lb sumo wrestler fighting a 100 lb kickboxer, but you will see equally matched fighters beating each other almost senseless.
I spent the 34 dollars to see the fights, they showed a total of 7 fights and a highlight from another fight, it was well worth the money. Im not telling you to run out and buy it, but it was better than any boxing or wrestling ppv....

I do agree its still a better sport then boxing has turned into but its not the same. There is a lot less action. Its like watching a baseball game compared to a football game. Baseball you’ll sit and wait for stuff to happen. That’s what it turned into instead of what it was. I think that the fighters are skilled and very well trained but it just doesn’t appeal to me like it used to.

i saw the fight and i liked it alot. i was rooting for liddell because he is from my hometown of santa barbara. i wish that it had lasted longer than 1st round knockout but i'm glad that liddell got the belt finally.

jetfan115 is right that they used to be better. they still are better then watching boxing though. imo. they dropped the price down to $30 dollars so between my brother in law and i we can swing pretty much every fight they have.

i think the best one was the very first fight with that crazy dude from las vegas. the guy with retard strength. he had this crazy grin the whole time. even when his mouth was bludgeoned and bloody he was still grinning. its retard strength if i've ever seen it. the kind of fight where you respect the guy on how much of a beating he can take and not of his actual fighting ability. i was laughing my ass off.

we ordered the pride match that was last weekend and i didn't like it. the guys would only strike for maybe 3 seconds and then go to the ground. it had a few shining moments but it was mostly just boring. i like ufc better because of the octagon over the square ring with ropes. in the octagon you can smash the guy up against the cage but in pride they call time and make you move back to the middle of the ring. in ufc it just seems like more of a pit fight.

liddell said that he was going to win belts in pride tournaments now that he got the title from coutour. i'd probably pay to see liddell in pride but other than that pride doesn't interest me much.
