THREE MORE SPOTS FOR FANTASY FOOTBALL: http://nyjetsfan.com...ndpost&p=356805
Mr_Jet Icon : (28 June 2015 - 11:41 AM) You never know, he could be as good as Gasol brothers or Dirk. Honestly the Knicks picking at #4 did the same thing the 3 teams picking ahead of them did. Picked a 19 year who could go boom or bust.
Mr_Jet Icon : (28 June 2015 - 11:45 AM) Porzingis seems to have the "I'm going to prove them wrong" type of attitude needed to overcome people's doubts about him. Hopefully he'll have the work ethic that goes along with that attitude.
azjetfan Icon : (28 June 2015 - 10:17 PM) In other news I decided to shave the dome. Since the hair was falling out anyway I figured I would show it who's boss

santana Icon : (02 July 2015 - 07:55 PM) things were going too well for the jets this off season

MikeGangGree... Icon : (23 July 2015 - 09:35 PM) WOOOOOOO

Chaos Icon : (30 July 2015 - 05:55 PM) https://twitter.com/...885423357390848
Chaos Icon : (30 July 2015 - 05:56 PM) God dammit Richardson. Jets need to pay Mo. Richardson is turning into a huge liability.
Jetsfan115 Icon : (30 July 2015 - 06:17 PM) good thing we drafted williams. thats why you take BPA
jets4life Icon : (30 July 2015 - 07:54 PM) Mike Freeman of the B/R has spoken to three NFL sources who all said they think Jets DE Sheldon Richardson Will Never Play Another Down In The Nfl following this arrest.

Freeman’s sources all pointed to the 12-year child and the loaded handgun in the car as two major concerns regarding the incident.
We’ll have more details regarding Richardson as the news is available.
ganggreen2003 Icon : (30 July 2015 - 08:44 PM) do we need to get rid of sheldon?
ganggreen2003 Icon : (30 July 2015 - 08:44 PM) wtf was he thinking driving 143 mph
azjetfan Icon : (30 July 2015 - 09:19 PM) My guess would be by the time he is done with all his suspensions he will not be under contract anymore.
azjetfan Icon : (30 July 2015 - 09:20 PM) The child and gun will do him in.
azjetfan Icon : (30 July 2015 - 09:20 PM) Was he charged with child endangerment?
MikeGangGree... Icon : (30 July 2015 - 10:53 PM) Why o why
Chaos Icon : (31 July 2015 - 07:29 AM) i think he was only charged with resisting arrest
Chaos Icon : (31 July 2015 - 07:29 AM) he isn't going anywhere. wife beaters get second chances and he won't?
Chaos Icon : (31 July 2015 - 07:29 AM) i'm sure he's going to be suspended for more than 4 games though
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (31 July 2015 - 10:16 AM) Richardson is a moron
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (31 July 2015 - 10:16 AM) Good thing we drafted Williams
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (31 July 2015 - 10:17 AM) Makes the decision easier to pay Wilkerson, someone who knows how to not get into trouble off the field
ROBJETS Icon : (01 August 2015 - 09:45 AM) put in full screen and turn up the volume.. One of the best music videos Ive ever seen. You might want the old lady seeing it though and definitely not the kids. No nudity but Butt galore!!!!
ROBJETS Icon : (01 August 2015 - 09:45 AM) https://www.facebook...?type=2&theater
ROBJETS Icon : (01 August 2015 - 09:46 AM) meant might not want your woman seeing it
MikeGangGree... Icon : (02 August 2015 - 03:16 PM) Now Wilkerson might be hurt...... f***
azjetfan Icon : (Yesterday, 10:20 PM) I'm almost regretting cutting the cord. Since canceling my Direct TV I have been pretty happy with Netflix sling TV and a $30 antenna. Now that football season is around the corner I am itching. It's just so hard to spend $100plus a month to watch a 3 hour game.
azjetfan Icon : (Yesterday, 10:21 PM) I'll try streaming when it's not on my locals which I assume will be quite a bit.

Anyone here watch Ultimate Fighting besides me here? If so, who's your pick for the fight tonight? Liddell or Couture? I'm rooting for Liddell by Judges Decision.

It used to be so much better. I have UFC 1-4 on tape and its crazy. I seen like the first 8 or so but then stopped because they weren’t coming on PPV anymore but then all of a sudden I seen like UFC number 30 and it all changed. Back at the beginning there was no weight class. I seen 2 fight that put skinny guys (like 150-170 pounds) against sumo wrestlers (300-350lbs) it was crazy. People got messed up badly. One guy broke his hand from hitting the other guy on the back of the head so much and the ref didn’t stop it. Then when he broke his hand he started elbowing the guy. And in another fight this guy was on the groung on hos hands and knees trying to get up and the other guy kickeh him in the mouth and a couple of his teeth went flying out. My friends though it was faked until they seen that. I don’t like it too much anymore its become kinda a spectacle like wrestling and sadly boxing. I’m really young (20 years old) but I miss the good old days. I used to watch mike Tyson box since I was a kid and he was mighty mike Tyson. Now he is a phsyco and hardly as good as he was. Its really sad to watch sports u used to love get changed and u start losing interest. I hope the NFL doesn’t do anything like that.

No I haven’t. I still like it but not like I used to. Not worth paying 45 dollars on PPV for it. I can watch them later on the fox sports channels or rent them from netflix. I don’t know if u seen the originals but u should. They are way better

Jetsfan115,

I am not calling you out or anything like that.
I agree that some of the older fights were a little more violent, gruesome and sickening, but the UFC is attempting to be a respected sport. You may not see a 500 lb sumo wrestler fighting a 100 lb kickboxer, but you will see equally matched fighters beating each other almost senseless.
I spent the 34 dollars to see the fights, they showed a total of 7 fights and a highlight from another fight, it was well worth the money. Im not telling you to run out and buy it, but it was better than any boxing or wrestling ppv....

I do agree its still a better sport then boxing has turned into but its not the same. There is a lot less action. Its like watching a baseball game compared to a football game. Baseball you’ll sit and wait for stuff to happen. That’s what it turned into instead of what it was. I think that the fighters are skilled and very well trained but it just doesn’t appeal to me like it used to.

i saw the fight and i liked it alot. i was rooting for liddell because he is from my hometown of santa barbara. i wish that it had lasted longer than 1st round knockout but i'm glad that liddell got the belt finally.

jetfan115 is right that they used to be better. they still are better then watching boxing though. imo. they dropped the price down to $30 dollars so between my brother in law and i we can swing pretty much every fight they have.

i think the best one was the very first fight with that crazy dude from las vegas. the guy with retard strength. he had this crazy grin the whole time. even when his mouth was bludgeoned and bloody he was still grinning. its retard strength if i've ever seen it. the kind of fight where you respect the guy on how much of a beating he can take and not of his actual fighting ability. i was laughing my ass off.

we ordered the pride match that was last weekend and i didn't like it. the guys would only strike for maybe 3 seconds and then go to the ground. it had a few shining moments but it was mostly just boring. i like ufc better because of the octagon over the square ring with ropes. in the octagon you can smash the guy up against the cage but in pride they call time and make you move back to the middle of the ring. in ufc it just seems like more of a pit fight.

liddell said that he was going to win belts in pride tournaments now that he got the title from coutour. i'd probably pay to see liddell in pride but other than that pride doesn't interest me much.
