mgjetman Icon : (23 May 2016 - 02:01 PM) Geno really needs to go away. Double f**k Geno.
Jetsfan115 Icon : (23 May 2016 - 02:21 PM) Fitzpatrick said he wants to play for the jets and that he won't retire
HarlemHxC814 Icon : (23 May 2016 - 06:50 PM) This street thug Darron Lee hasn't signed yet
MikeGangGree... Icon : (25 May 2016 - 05:32 PM) that damn dirty street thug
Jetsfan115 Icon : (31 May 2016 - 10:28 AM) jets offered fitz 3 years 24 million dollar deal. 12 million for 2016 and 6 million each for 2017 and 2018. fitz is unhappy with the 2017 and 2018 number
MikeGangGree... Icon : (01 June 2016 - 01:45 PM) Street thug
MikeGangGree... Icon : (01 June 2016 - 01:47 PM) I really don't like Devin Smith he cost us 2 games last season with his hands of stone
Jetsfan115 Icon : (01 June 2016 - 04:27 PM) he's a rookie
Jetsfan115 Icon : (01 June 2016 - 04:27 PM) i'm more concerned we really don't have a slot WR. all of our guys are outside guys
Jetsfan115 Icon : (01 June 2016 - 04:27 PM) i wonder if amaro is gonna be a big slit guy and blocker for us
Jetsfan115 Icon : (01 June 2016 - 04:27 PM) slot
MikeGangGree... Icon : (01 June 2016 - 09:22 PM) Sources told NY daily news.Fitzpatrick is about to sign 1 year deal
MikeGangGree... Icon : (01 June 2016 - 10:06 PM) We didn't have a slot WR last year also. I do Amaro steps up I really do like him
MikeGangGree... Icon : (02 June 2016 - 09:46 AM) Ok so the jets won't take the deal. My question is why?? 1 year 12 million when they are already offering him 12 million in his first year
Jetsfan115 Icon : (02 June 2016 - 01:24 PM) 2 reasons, 1st off for salary cap relief this year. we have no cap room this year but plenty next year. a multi year deal and backload the contract and 2, why pay a guy 12 mil for 1 year with no guarentee and go thorugh this again
Jetsfan115 Icon : (02 June 2016 - 01:24 PM) fitz said he'd take a 1 year deal but jets don't want that
Jetsfan115 Icon : (02 June 2016 - 01:25 PM) they should offer him a 3 years for 30 mil. 12 this year (half in the signing bonus for cap relief) 10 mil next year and 8 mil the 3rd year. 1st 2 years guarenteed (22 mil)
RetireChrebet Icon : (03 June 2016 - 03:37 AM) You know your fucked when the biggest offseason story is can we convince a journeyman QB whom singlehandedly threw us out of the playoffs last year to sign a deal worth way more than his actual value!
MikeGangGree... Icon : (03 June 2016 - 09:59 AM) Ok jets brothers I need fantasy football help. Who should I keep in my keepers league. We have to decide by July
MikeGangGree... Icon : (03 June 2016 - 10:00 AM) Should I keep Cam Gurley or Bell?
MikeGangGree... Icon : (03 June 2016 - 10:01 AM) Cam had a monster year last year and in our league it's 6 points per PassTd and cam is getting his best WR back.
MikeGangGree... Icon : (03 June 2016 - 10:01 AM) Gurley was a monster last year as a rookie
MikeGangGree... Icon : (03 June 2016 - 10:03 AM) Bell missed most of the year with a injury but it's also a PPR league. In only 6 games last year he =100 points
MikeGangGree... Icon : (03 June 2016 - 10:04 AM) Cam also had 45 total TDs last year
Jetsfan115 Icon : (03 June 2016 - 10:50 AM) I'd keep bell
Jetsfan115 Icon : (03 June 2016 - 10:50 AM) there are maybe like 5 #1 fantasy RBs at best and you need to start at least 2
Jetsfan115 Icon : (03 June 2016 - 10:50 AM) QBs are easier to find. I had cam in 2 leagues and drafted him way late. RBs are impossible to find late

Jets consider deal for unhappy receiver Marshall
September 1, 2009
By BOB GLAUBER

The Jets are seriously exploring the possibility of trading for Broncos receiver Brandon Marshall, according to a league source familiar with the Jets' situation.

Marshall, who was suspended Friday by the Broncos for conduct detrimental to the team, is one of the most talented but troubled receivers in the game. He has expressed a desire for a new contract through much of the offseason and preseason and also has asked to be traded.

Although coach Rex Ryan repeatedly has said he is satisfied with his receivers, the Jets have taken a look at acquiring an established receiver. Jerricho Cotchery is the Jets' only proven veteran receiver.

It is believed the Broncos would want a first-round draft pick in any deal for Marshall, but it is unlikely the Jets would pay that high a price.

Marshall had 104 catches for 1,265 yards and six touchdowns last season. In 2007, he had 102 catches for 1,325 yards and seven TDs.

The Broncos have indicated that they have no plans to trade Marshall, 25, who was suspended for the team's final two preseason games after a series of run-ins with the team. During pre-practice warm-ups last Wednesday, Marshall walked while the rest of the team ran. He then punted a ball away from a ball boy instead of handing it to him. And he swatted down a pass thrown to him. His actions were caught on video and broadcast by a local television station.

"We tried to handle this situation with Brandon as privately and professionally as we could throughout the entire process with he and his agent, Kennard McGuire," Denver coach Josh McDaniels said on Friday. "This morning, we made the decision as an organization to go ahead and suspend Brandon and that suspension will last through Sept. 5."

If Marshall is traded, he almost certainly would be given a new contract. He is due to make $2.2 million this season.

Guys it was Mort Anderson on Mike & Mike earlier and he announced Jets offered Broncos 2nd & 5th Round. At this point its at Marshall's hands to accept, tentative contract making 9 Million a year. Trust me, I'm not gonna make anything up... I barely come here anyway! I'm looking everywhere too and I can't find a link source... stay tuned! I'm trying, I'm trying!!!

Last year you would have ripped Mangini for not going and getting talent, now your upset about it. If true, this is a steal.

This isn't about talent...this is about a guy acting like a teenage bitch and getting rewarded 9 million dollars for it. It's the wrong idea...we should be rewarding the Leon Washington's of the world who are working there ass of in camp...not the malcontent's who punt balls away from ball boys in practice.

ESPN Adam Schefter just was talking saying that the Jets are considering a deal, and the Broncos want to trade Brandon Marshall and are more aggressive than people think.

The Broncos really have no leverage here, they have a guy who will not play for them. He has 1 yr left on his contract, if they don't trade him they get nothing for him as he hits FA next year.

The same reasoning was used as a justification as to why Moss would fail in NE. Marshall is a top 5 WR in the league, if you have a shot to get him, then do it. If he fucks up, you void his contract.

Yeah it's that easy isn't it. I'm not saying he wouldn't catch a lot of passes and TDs and whatnot. But where the f*** is the self respect in people anymore!!!??? I'm serious...what the f***!?

Here's a quote from his teammate in Denver, "It's offensive a little bit," tight end Daniel Graham said of Marshall's actions in practice. "Everybody is out here working hard towards our ultimate goal. To have a teammate like that do what he's doing right now is disappointing to the rest of the guys. But we're still focused on what our goal is."

And it is...it's pathetic that everyone is so willing to drop everything for this guy when he isn't even willing to catch a ball in practice. What a f***ing baby.

The guy is a head case. However, that type of talent will give our offense the balance it needs and more. This team is loaded-lets see what Sanchez can do?

Its the NFL, every team has a bunch of D-bags and prima donnas, and I could care less about that if we win. The Jets aren't around to create role models, they are around to entertain people, specifically me. Marshall would make this team far better for many years to come and the Jets can get him for half-price right now.

Yes, wanting Marshall on the Jets is equivalent to selling my daughter into prostitution. Good analogy.
