I appreciate your insight, my dude. But you're still missing the point some. What I'm talking about isn't an isolated incident restricted to this post and this post alone. It's that you have a tendency to spout off at the fingertips about why the PS3 sucks when you clearly have no frame of reference. If you said, "I prefer the 360 because..." then I wouldn't have anything combative to say. But when you say the PS3 sucks, the games are bad, and then back it up with tired cliches, then it gets old... REALLY fast.
You say you like Ninja Gaiden, when God of War is of the same mold. It's pure hack and slash, jump high, get combos, summon powers, and fend off hordes of baddies. It's the story and concept of God of War that makes it >>>>
You prefer RPGs, and that's cool. But as far as FPS and sports games. It's really a toss up between systems. I have more family on PS3 and the number is growing. So after my beloved 360 got banned, the choice was clear.
Either way, seems like your blu-ray preference has a lot to do with your laptop capabilities. Personally, I love popping on the surround sound and spinning the disc off 5.1 DTS.
All in all, point is you haven't just used what you like better. You've made it a point to go in PS3 threads and remind us that you hate the PS3. And remind us that you like the 360. And post articles pushing the 360 v. PS3 agenda. That's why santana questioned you, and kinda why I got at you too. It's not isolated, bro.
Regardless, if you've been lucky enough that your 360 never burned out, then congrats. My little brother has had 4 of them drop. I had one. Only reason I got a new PS3 is because I upgraded to the quieter SLIM with the 120 GB hard drive that I'm about to swap out for a 500GB after I fill it out with movies and music.

i appreciate you can keep things civil and discuss. as far as god of war and ninja gaiden goes. there is a ton of games like it. devil may cry is one, bayonetta, prince of persia tahts to name a few but none gave me the challange or excitment of ninja gaiden. its by far my favorite action game. games today are too easy to beat on single player. there all made for multiplayer. ninja gaiden is regarded as one of the toughest modern day games to beat. it really feels like an accomplish to beat. devil may cry didn't give me that sense of accomplishment. it was ok but nothing close. so yeah its the same mold but one was done way better in my opnion. gears if war and resident evil 5 are both 3PS (and i know gears is xbox only) but resident evil 5 is way better. i thought gears was so so at best. since NG is out on PS3 now if u like action gamessi highly recommend it. best action game on any system in a long time
and FYI i posted those articles a long time ago. i barely ever post in here at all recently. i usually stick to the 50 yard line forum only. the only post i made was the controller one becuase comeon the controller is the same for over 15 years its outdated. that annoys me. sorry but its lazy on sonys part. but if you like it then its familiar and comfortable and i can't hate on that. point is hardware wise the 360 does have a proven edge on performance but its soooo slight its not even worth mentioning. i could really care less about who thinks what is better. just offering my opinion which is basically what a forum is. its for peopole to discuss opinions on things.
and my 360 did RROD as i mention in my last post. which is why i like apples reliability better then MS but i feel more omfortable with windows. funny when i made a post where i said how i really liked my mac people called me a MS hater. even though i tried explaining that it was a work laptop and i run windows on my personal laptop. but everyone wants to attack anyone who has a different opinion. cause its the internet so you can lol. i don't see the point.
and yes i love my laptop. it has a 5.1 sorround sound card in it with HDMI output. so i download blu ray movies (about 7GB per movie as an AVI compared to about 700MB for a dvd file as an avi) and i get blu ray sound and video on my TV and sorroundsound system. thats why i splurged for an 1100 dell studio laptop. i custom picked what i wanted. i like digital. its the future. i threw away all my CDs since i have them stored on my laptop. i haven't bught a blu ray ever and i haven't brough a dvd in over 2 or 3 years. i don't use netflix or anything. so for my buying one wouldn't make sense. i'm not flamiing the system cause whats teh point? i have nothing against the PS3 i loved my PS2 ntil teh xbox came out. but MS stepped up and made sony step up and the result is all the gamers won. we got 2 powerful systems with online play built in hard drive and ent centers.
oh and 1 more reason i prefer the xbox360? windows media center. it links wirelessly with my laptop as well to play everything so if i don't wanna plug in my laptop to my tv i can use it to stream movies off my laptop while i do other things. IDK if you ever treid using windows media center but its great. and with att u-verse internet i get between 12-17MBPS download speed on wireless so its really smooth. if you haven't used it try it. works well with vista or 7 easily. no setup required. one of teh few things MS has done right.
in the end the 360 is the right system FOR ME. by far. i'm not saying it steh right system for everyone. if someone was goign to ask for an opinion i'd tell them to get a 360 unless tehy wanted a blu ray player. just my opinion. u can't hate me for that teh same way i don't hate on santana for liking the PS3
