RetireChrebet Icon : (26 August 2014 - 08:33 PM) Dimitri suspended for the rest of preseason. I'm sorry, I know we are bone dry at corner these days but they should have cut this prick on the spot . He's going to get torched regardless this year and I'd rather cut ties with any potential cancerous attitutudes before the season even starts.
RetireChrebet Icon : (26 August 2014 - 08:34 PM) Where I come from you take responsibility for your actions. Not showing up for a game is cowardly and selfish. f*** him
RetireChrebet Icon : (26 August 2014 - 08:36 PM) Also he doesn't know what the acronym AWOL means so he's also an idiot. No wonder he's never been anything but a journeyman corner is this league.
azjetfan Icon : (26 August 2014 - 09:11 PM) So how do you really feel?
RetireChrebet Icon : (26 August 2014 - 11:18 PM) I think my last three posts pretty much summarize how I feel haha. He's making 1.5 mill this year and no call no shows because his feeling are hurt. Would rather you play corner azjetfan than this guy

bleedsgreen Icon : (27 August 2014 - 12:21 PM) Hill is such a disappointment. I really was hopping for so much when he scored 2 TDs his first game
MikeGangGree... Icon : (27 August 2014 - 03:11 PM) We need to get the J-E-T-S chant back this year to the way it was
MikeGangGree... Icon : (27 August 2014 - 03:13 PM) idk if any of u guys went to any of the games last year[Im sure some of u did] but im not a fan of the drumline leading the chant
MikeGangGree... Icon : (27 August 2014 - 03:14 PM) its not the same as 70,000 people doing it during every kickoff and after every score
Jetsfan115 Icon : (27 August 2014 - 05:43 PM) injuries and poor QB play aren't good for a WR to develop
Jetsman05 Icon : (27 August 2014 - 06:08 PM) 115 and Hill. Lol!
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (27 August 2014 - 10:18 PM) the excuses, Hill is just a terrible football player. no debate, just a fact. guy is soft as shit as well
Jetsfan115 Icon : (Yesterday, 10:43 AM) right cause all our other WRs were lighting it up
HarlemHxC814 Icon : (Yesterday, 07:04 PM) Hill is useless bro lol
ROBJETS Icon : (Yesterday, 09:05 PM) All I can say I streamed this game and if anyone thinks about recording it from NFL Network at 4pm Eastern Saturday.....DONT!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ROBJETS Icon : (Yesterday, 09:07 PM) This game was pure sh1t. Even though it was back up players the Jets got totally destroyed in this game. After seeing this game Im really worried about the Jets starting core because these backup guys looked like they shouldn't have even been on the field at all. I just hope the starters are 3000 times better than these guys that played in game 4
ROBJETS Icon : (Yesterday, 09:09 PM) The Jets got horse f*cked by the Eagles in this game.
ganggreen2003 Icon : (Yesterday, 09:24 PM) we are hosed in the secondary
ganggreen2003 Icon : (Yesterday, 09:26 PM) we need to cut this assclown patterson
ganggreen2003 Icon : (Yesterday, 09:34 PM) did Hill get cut yet?
ROBJETS Icon : (Yesterday, 09:36 PM) lol. We might need to look at the Eagles cuts for possible 2nd and 3rd stringers
ROBJETS Icon : (Yesterday, 09:36 PM) If they keep ZHill after this game I will be shocked.
ROBJETS Icon : (Yesterday, 09:38 PM) Philly gave us a worse ass whipping than Detroit gave Buffalo. only difference is we scored
ROBJETS Icon : (Yesterday, 09:42 PM) Im just wondering what manning will put up on our secondary? 70?
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 10:12 PM) who cares about getting destroyed in a preseason game, especially the 4th one. Most of these guys won't even make the team
ganggreen2003 Icon : (Yesterday, 10:15 PM) Hill cut yet?
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 10:18 PM) FIRE IDZIK
HarlemHxC814 Icon : (Yesterday, 10:21 PM) Yeah this game means nothing...except to Stephen Hill (who fumbled lol) and 115
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 10:23 PM) Hill is a bum, hes pretty much never shown much football skill. The Jets fucked up big time taking him over Alshon Jeffery.
HarlemHxC814 Icon : (Yesterday, 10:29 PM) I'm still pissed off about that
ROBJETS Icon : (Yesterday, 10:43 PM) Its not that Im worried about the preseason game itself. i could care less about that. Its the fact of how bad we got destroyed. And some of the guys will be on the team and others on the fringe so getting destroyed like that doesnt fill me with confidence
ROBJETS Icon : (Yesterday, 10:44 PM) It would be one thing if it was just the second half or 4th quarter but this was the whole game. especially getting destroyed in the 1st quarter and at least part of the 2nd where a lot of the guys will be on the team
ROBJETS Icon : (Yesterday, 10:48 PM) 2nd and 3rd stringers making the team had something to prove and even our 2nd stringers got owned so yes Im very concerned. The first stringers need breaks and also if some of them get injured they need to step up. So no after this performance start to finish Im very concerned

Damn, Woke up and just saw it scroll across the board on ESPN. I bet we got him pretty cheap....I hope we did.

Lets see if the change of scenery gets this guy playing like he did 2 years ago.

Braylons Role In New York

Braylon Edwards | Browns

ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter reports the Browns have traded Braylon Edwards to the Jets.

The current No. 1 receiver in New York is Jerricho Cotchery, but with Edwards, it's possible Cotchery will be demoted to the No. 2 receiver role with Edwards assuming the top spot. It's also like that Chansi Stuckey will lose touches.

This move may also push the Jets to throw more often. Only the Panthers, 49ers and Falcons have thrown fewer passes, partly because of coach Rex Ryan's defensive mindset, and also because the Jets start a rookie QB in Mark Sanchez.

Edwards comes to New York on the heels of allegations that he punched LeBron James's friend in Cleveland. It's possible that, with the pull James has in Cleveland, this incident made the trade imminent. Plus, if it turns out to be true, Edward could miss time serving a suspension.

i don't know if i should be happy or mad. i guess it all depends on what we gave up to get him.

I can't imagine it is to expensive. Im guessing a 4th rounder...maybe a 4th or 5th and a 7th.

He has not played great since his break out season...but either have the browns in general. This is pretty interesting trade for an already interesting season.

As much as I liked Stuckey, there is no comparison...as long as Braylon gets his act together he is a legitimate number 1 WR.

I think Rex Ryan might be the kind of coach to let Edwards be himself but still keep him in line and playing hard.

Wow...

Braylon Edwards won't have to share Cleveland with LeBron James anymore.

Sources told FOXSports.com the Jets have traded WR Chansi Stuckey, LB Jason Trusnik and two draft picks to the Browns for Edwards.

The Jets haven't discussed working out a new deal for Edwards.

Edwards, the third overall pick in the 2005 draft, is currently being investigated for an alleged altercation with a promoter who is friends with Cavs star James in Cleveland Sunday night.

He has 10 catches for 139 yards and no touchdowns in four games this season. The Browns are 0-4.

Damn, Chansi is gone? I liked stuckey.

Well he will have to learn to be a model player.New York as a whole wont deal with his crap for to long.

Keyshawn was in his prime ahen the Jets got rid of him and Burress was benched for his actions with the Giants.
The New York teams wont put up with it. Im sure Rex wont either. Just remembering how Buddy got nuts all the time Im sure there is plenty of that fire in Rex so Im sure he has good control of the team as a whole

Only thing I worry about with Edwards is that he drops alot of balls. Im pretty sure off memory that he led the league in dropped passes last year. Not a good thing.

On the other hand he is great after the catch. Just hope his hands dont cost us a game. With weak hands in mind Im not sure he deserves the number one spot over Cotchery. I guess we shall see

Yea I really liked Chansi too. He was starting to make rediculous plays this year. Braylon better be the player we all know he can be or at least close to it. Cus if he is just mediocre then this deal is gunna come out sour with a guy like Chansi being the coast, and Trusnick was making plays on special teams.

Like Hurricane said, if Braylon Edwards turns back in the braylon edwards of 2 years ago then yea Chansi doesnt even come close, but if Edwards fails, then losing a guy like chansi just makes it hurt worse.

Im not making any judgements yet. when i just saw the trade i was happy, now i know the cost im a lil sad to see stuckey go, but im still overall happy to see if we can have Edwards shine again and have Cotchery's consistancy on the other side to compliment it, and Keller inbetween that.

i think this is actually a really good trade. With teh trade I think clowney, who was really good in the pre season, will finally get a lot more reps as the number #3 WR. i don't know bout u but trading Stuckey, Trusnik, and probably a 5th round or higher pick isn't bad at all.

3rd round, 5th round, Stuckey, and Trunsnik.....kind of a lot.

It's a bit much but we still have our 1st and 2nd, trusnick was good depth but not a major loss. losing Stuckey kind of bothers me though.

This tell me that Clowney is going to get an increase and play in the slot.

This is a great move. We use Clowneys speed in the slot and get Braylon on the outside with Cotchery.

I'm really liking this move. Unfortunately someone has to take the fall. It's fun Stuck!

Great trade, backups and 2nd day picks. This is just like the Sanchez deal.
