Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 04:22 PM) Kareem Jackson is a decent player, I would rather go elsewhere for CB though> He has been a streaky player, some bad seasons some good
HarlemHxC814 Icon : (Yesterday, 06:23 PM) THE KNICKS
Chaos Icon : (Yesterday, 06:43 PM) @AdamSchefter: Filed to ESPN: Bills have notified LB Kiko Alonso he is going to be traded to Philadelphia for RB LeSean McCoy. Trade official next week.
Chaos Icon : (Yesterday, 06:43 PM) WOW. Rex is gearing up for ground and pound.
Chaos Icon : (Yesterday, 06:44 PM) Jets can sign Spiller now but they're going to need a new LB. Rex is gunning for David Harris.
HarlemHxC814 Icon : (Yesterday, 07:44 PM) Jets should trade Harris to Minnesota for Minnesota for AP
HarlemHxC814 Icon : (Yesterday, 07:44 PM) Throw in Ivory/Powell or a pick
ganggreen2003 Icon : (Yesterday, 07:45 PM) Damn they got Shady
ganggreen2003 Icon : (Yesterday, 07:45 PM) Do NOT give up Ivory
ganggreen2003 Icon : (Yesterday, 07:45 PM) Powell ok Ivory HELL NO
ganggreen2003 Icon : (Yesterday, 07:50 PM) Well that definitely opens the door for CJ Spiller to the JETS now that the Jills got Shady
ROBJETS Icon : (Today, 05:12 AM) Spiller is a joke. 99 % of the time he gets tackled for a loss or a 1 or 2 yard gain maximum. He breaks a run here and there. he had one good year in his whole career. their is a reason he is a backup and not the starter. I suggest you guys that believe Spiller has anything to offer go through the play by play game logs. I did and he is horrendous.
ROBJETS Icon : (Today, 05:14 AM) Spiller cannot break a tackle period. I broke down last years game logs of his runs in a thread last year. He isn't even a pass catching rb. Fred Jackson catches most of the running back passes.
ROBJETS Icon : (Today, 05:20 AM) Unless Spiller comes tremendously cheap no thank you. Wouldn't pay more than a one year deal worth 1 million at most. All he has is speed. Not even on Sproles level. His stats are inflated. For instance he has 10 runs in a game and 9 of them are losses are or 1-2 yard runs. Then he breaks one on the outside for 40-70 yards. Not reliable at all. Even when he break one he is guaranteed a td
ROBJETS Icon : (Today, 05:21 AM) Even in his 1200 yard rushing year he only had 6 tds rushing and 2 receiving
ROBJETS Icon : (Today, 05:23 AM) Spiller is only valuable as a special teams player. Period By year 2010 ) tds rshng 1 rcvng 283 yards rshng
ROBJETS Icon : (Today, 05:31 AM) meant 0 tds rushing in 2010, 2011 4 tds 561 yards rushing 2tds receiving, 2012 6tds 1244 rushing 2 tds receiving, 2013 2tds 933 yards rushing 0tds receiving, 2014 0tds 300 yards rushing 1td receiving.
ROBJETS Icon : (Today, 05:41 AM) His stats look decent on paper but if you actually go through the game logs of his career like I did his stats are extremely inflated. For instance one game last year he had 10 attempts for 8 yards another 4 attempts for -4 yards, another 6 attempts for 19 yards, another 10 attempts for 25 yards.Another game he had 12 games for 69 yards but 47 of it was on one play. Point is he sucks as a running back. Who wants a rb that gets stopped 99% of the time and breaks one play fir a long run. We need reliable backs not a slim chance of him breaking one

Jay Feely's Twitter comments on Chris Henry stir up trouble

Quote

Posted by Mike Florio on December 17, 2009 8:49 PM ET Jets kicker Jay Feely has post-football political aspirations; he makes no attempt to conceal them. But his comments regarding the late Chris Henry fail to demonstrate a high degree of political savvy.

Feely, with whom we've interacted in the past and who seems like a well-intentioned man and without question is a skilled kicker, had this to say on his Twitter page regarding Henry's death: "Chris Henry seemed to have turned his life around. But, you can't live on the brink of destruction without inevitably falling off the ledge."

Later, Feely realized that he probably shouldn't have said what he said.

"Maybe I did a poor job of expressing my sympathy while trying to look at the bigger picture of why this happened and how to avoid in future," Feely explained in a subsequent tweet.

A search of Feely's Twitter handle ("jayfeely") reveals a variety of responses, most of which express disagreement with his sentiments -- some of which express strong disagreement with his senitments. Mike Freeman of CBSSports.com has written that his Friday column "will prominently feature Jay Feely's crazy tweets."

This isn't about limiting Feely's ability to speak his mind. He has that absolute right -- and those who don't like what Feely says have the right to respond. The broader point here is that an active member of an NFL team not named the "Cincinnati Bengals" has deemed it prudent to chime in on the same day Chris Henry died with an opinion that Feely knew or should have known would be polarizing, at best.

So, Jay, we think you'll ultimately realize your stated goal of becoming President.

As long as the targeted jurisdiction is Del Boca Vista, Phase III.

I agree with him, if you live life on edge all day every day taking risks its gonna catch up. I'm extremely sympathetic and the Henry family and friends are in my prayers.

That being said this is why America is the best country on earth, guys like Dubb and others don't have to agree with what was said and thats ok.

Looks like there'll be a roughing the kicker penalty or two on Week 17.

I see what he is saying and completely agree, but the timing couldn't be worse. The last thing we need is a pumped up Cincy team playin us the last game of the season.

And if he does get roughed up by the Bengals, you can't really blame them for doing so. I'm happy for him to have an opinion, but putting such a thought into the public arena this soon after Henry's passing was uncalled for. Sometimes you should keep your thoughts to yourself.

By 2015 I see the NFL, NBA, and MLB all banning Twitter. Some athlete is going to say something REALLY stupid one day and the each team or the league's office are just going to tell each player to keep your thoughts to yourself and off the internet.

I don't understand why some people have to bring up the bad shit before they even have a funeral for the man. He hasn't even been dead for 72 hours and some people are all ready acting like they are the ones that get to decide if he gets to pass through the pearly gates.

There are a few things I have realized about Mr. Jet over a few topics.

1) He is a racist. By constantly using race as a battling tool.
2) He is an extreme Liberal. If you are on either extreme you are probabaly more wrong than right.
3) He is one of those people who will never admit fault, error or defeat.
4)His life sucks and he takes it out on people who don't share in his views.

And now we know why Feely got cut by Miami. He just couldn't keep his mouth shut. Way to be sensitive about the situation, jackass.

I don't know Chris Henry from a hole in the wall, I am not insinuating anything, I am just making a comment based on HIS previous actions, from his behavior during his college days to his days in the NFL. He has had serious issues handling conflict in his life, eventually if you cannot change your behavior when dealing with certain stimuli your going to suffer the consequences. If you wish to enlighten me by where you think I was going with this please do, thx.

P.S. I am a TRUE believer in second chances and in know way feel that this tragic incident is anything but that.

R.I.P. Mr. Henry

R.I.P. Mr. Henry

Jay Feeley is politically incorrect and that rubs some the wrong way. God forbid we hold others accountable for their actions. Chris Henry simply could not stay out of trouble and it ultimately led to his demise. I feel sad for Henry because, even though he was a moron, his life is precious. But I don't feel sorry for him, only his family.

SDubb's ignorant and thuglike remark ,"his bitch" seems to indicate that it is acceptable to address conflict resolution by acting like a neanderthal in public.

Don't worry about how I talk to my wife, it's figuratively speaking. Man you're a sensitive person aren't you, go be an alter boy.
