Chris Johnson’s visit with #Jets today went well, from what it sounded like. It’s over now. Nothing final yet, other teams still circling
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 08:25 PM) I think he's just stating the obvious but whatever it's an update
2JBallar01 Icon : (Today, 10:58 AM) CJ wants 2year, $10 million deal. Jets offered muti year deal, 3-4 mill a year
Jetsfan115 Icon : (Today, 10:59 AM) so he wants 2 year 10 mil and we offered what 4 years 12-15 mil?
2JBallar01 Icon : (Today, 11:07 AM) @emesola: Chris Johnson is seeking approximately 2 years, $10 million. Idzik is not budging over $3-4 mil/year it seems. #Jets #JetsTwitter
2JBallar01 Icon : (Today, 11:08 AM) Kristian Dyer has confirmed that Idzik offered a multi-year deal, we're looking at $3-4M per, as Esola said.
santana Icon : (Today, 11:08 AM) Sidney rice coming through
2JBallar01 Icon : (Today, 11:08 AM) I'm guessing 2 years 6 mill is what was offered
santana Icon : (Today, 11:12 AM)

The current market rate for a starting running back is roughly $3M per year. Idzik is offering slightly more than that, and Johnson is seeking a good chunk more.
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 11:34 AM) this is negotiations, Johnson would like to sign here but will try to gauge his value more
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 11:34 AM) He was at the Knicks/Nets game yesterday
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 11:36 AM) Idk about the numbers, I read an article that said that the Jets offered a "attractive" deal to Johnson and that it was always a longshot that he would sign yesterday, but the Jets believe the deal is market value for him

Great prediction!

I thought everyone knew the Raiders suck (except for Pete Prisco). I would have also thought that you guys knew that Jordan is overrated, not to mention that the Raiders OL sucks evern worse.

I do understand your hatred for a division rival, so totally not ranking on you for that.

Jordan, overrated?!?!

Shut the hell up...

You have really no clue what Jordan can do, you have never really watched this guy play a football game, so you best not be calling him overrated. Lets see you go out every Sunday, and do what he has done.

So just shut up, and watch your team lose Sunday...

I have watched him play (the little he has played). Do you think you only get NFL sunday ticket in NY?

Also, are you one of those fans that thinks that only professional athletes can provide an opinion on players? If so, what the F are you doing?

Lastly, based on the first game, I have more of a clue than you.

WOW, MAChiefs said nothing offensive and yet you guys have a big temper with him, gee.
Actually, Jordan is a little overrated, you have fantasy people picking him in the first round, which is something. EVERYONE is saying he'll get 1400 yards, but I think he might be a disappoint this year, I mean, he'd take on a quarter of work and now he's a starter, and I'm not sure if one can just handle that over night.

The little he has played during his career he has...

262 Attempts, 1,277 yards, and thats a career ypg of 4.9. So I gotta say that is damn good, and that you have no *beep*en clue what the hell you are talking about.

I definatly know what the hell I am talking about, obviously you have no damn clue what the hell you are talking about.

And if you think you can talk shit on this board, you are dead wrong...

Jordan is one of the most overrated players in the league right now. When he rushes for 1400 yards, he'll be a 1400 yard back. RIght now he is 1330 shy of that number.

Only 15 weeks to go!

With that logic, Blaylock is better than Martin because he has a 4.6 ypc average. Yeah, I am the one that doesn't have a clue.

Overrated, is being hyped to be the next great running back before you have started one season. Listening to the media, they are hyping Jordan as the Raiders savior more than Moss. He is a good back, not a great back. That is my definition of overrated.

Also, I can tell by your signature that you don't want people talkin shit, I am just stating the obvious.

Again, if you think your going to be the last one to talk shit, you are dead wrong. The only people that hype Lamont Jordan knows what he can, and will be. I think is ypc was 3.9 on Thursday, correct me if im wrong. That is still pretty damn good, considering how fast defense is these days.

People can talk shit all they want, I am just stating that I am a Yankee fan, and that the Red Sox are garbage. Now if you want to defend your Royals I definatly hope you do so. Considering their one of the worst teams in baseball.

So dude, please do not talk shit anymore, because I gotta go watch the Jets win today.
