Chadforpresi... Icon : (22 April 2015 - 04:38 PM) I don't like Gordon much. Not much of a receiver or blocker, ball security issues, tries to bounce outside too much, stuffed frequently. Gurley is in a league of his own
Chadforpresi... Icon : (22 April 2015 - 04:39 PM) Ray is pretty highly regarded. I'm betting he, Dupree, and Gregory will be our best options as well as edge rushers at 6, but I think that's too high for any of them
Chadforpresi... Icon : (22 April 2015 - 04:43 PM) Personally love Cooper, I know WR isn't our biggest need but he may be the most NFL ready guy in the Draft. If we stick to the 6th pick and Fowler, Beasley, and Mariota are gone, Cooper is the guy to get. I'd even take him over Beasley
Jetsfan115 Icon : (22 April 2015 - 05:45 PM) i don't mind cooper. decker isn't number 1 IMO and marshall is expensive and getting old
Jetsfan115 Icon : (22 April 2015 - 05:45 PM) and we never draft a WR high
Jetsfan115 Icon : (22 April 2015 - 05:45 PM) but o-line and QB are huge needs. i wouldn't take o-line 6th overall, but i think our 2nd or 3rd should be o-line
Jetsfan115 Icon : (22 April 2015 - 05:46 PM) we need an OLB as well. if we don't land a QB i'd like to see OLB adn O-line with 2 of our top 3 picks
Chadforpresi... Icon : (22 April 2015 - 08:16 PM) I agree on Deck, not a true #1 and he's had a checkered history with injuries. Marshall has 2, maybe 3 productive years left, which is why Cooper is an option
Chadforpresi... Icon : (22 April 2015 - 08:17 PM) And I agree with you on edge rusher & OL being bigger needs, but there really isn't a lineman I'd take at 6
Chadforpresi... Icon : (22 April 2015 - 08:19 PM) So the way I see it, assuming Winston and Mariota are taken when we're at 6, that Fowler and Cooper are our best choices, and I'd be stunned if Fowler drops. I wouldn't be surprised (or upset) if we land Cooper
NJAzrael71 Icon : (22 April 2015 - 08:47 PM) Apparently Tennessee wanted both of Cleveland's #1's and their 2nd rounder to move up to the #2 spot to get Mariota. Still think two 1st rounders are too much for Rivers? He makes us instant contenders and if we make a deep playoff run, it would really be this year's 1st and what equates to basically a 2nd rounder next year.
If not, get Cooper in the 1st and then grab Hundley in the 2nd and O-line in the 3rd.
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (22 April 2015 - 10:05 PM) I wouldn't be upset with Cooper, hes a stud
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (22 April 2015 - 10:06 PM) Not sure about Ray. Dupree is rising on the draft boards, ridiculously athletic for his size
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (22 April 2015 - 10:07 PM) Dupree is 6'4 270 and has a amazing get off and runs a 4.5
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (22 April 2015 - 10:09 PM) Problem is he doesn't have big sack numbers in college, I rather draft a productive guy high
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (22 April 2015 - 10:09 PM) Vic Beasley is insanely athletic as well and was hugely productive in college, good bet is that Beasley will be a 10+ sack guy in the NFL
NJAzrael71 Icon : (22 April 2015 - 10:12 PM) Beasley should be a stud but he gets caught up hand fighting if he doesn't beat his guy quickly. He'll likely end up as an OLB but we'll see
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (22 April 2015 - 10:15 PM) He'd be a good fit in our defense, because we could use that speed guy on the outside
Chadforpresi... Icon : (23 April 2015 - 06:27 AM) I'd love Rivers, but we should be able to get him without paying 2 first rounders
Chadforpresi... Icon : (23 April 2015 - 06:29 AM) Lot of buzz about Dupree going top 10, most mocks I see have us getting either Ray or Dupree at 6. I prefer Dupree, like you said insane athlete for his size
Chadforpresi... Icon : (23 April 2015 - 06:30 AM) I like Beasley as well but I have a strong feeling Washington will snag him. But he is a small dude, it'd be nice if he'd add some bulk (in Clemson reportedly played around 230)

.@LanceZierlein says on http://sports790.com that Shane Ray will need surgery on foot, 5 months recovery. "Could drop out of first"
Chaos Icon : (23 April 2015 - 10:14 AM) this should change up the top 10
Chadforpresi... Icon : (23 April 2015 - 12:16 PM) Damn that's big. If he drops out of round 1 that could be a massive bargain for whoever gets him round 2. Dupree now looks more like the edge rusher we'd get at 6

Jetsman05 Icon : (26 April 2015 - 06:58 AM) Vic Beasley is all speed. No moves, no power. Straight up the field. Could have some big games, then nothing in the next
Jetsman05 Icon : (26 April 2015 - 06:59 AM) If we don't get Mariota, we should be looking at Schreff or trading down, IMO.
Jetsman05 Icon : (26 April 2015 - 06:59 AM) A lot of good edge rushers in this draft... I wouldn't want to take Dupree that high.

If I was taking roids I would never take hgh. Way to many side effects. That is one of the worst steroids you can take.

If I were taking them Id probably take dianabol or dura decabolin something along those lines.

Not all roids are created equal. Just out of memory which has been years so Im not sure of the exact numbers but hgh has somewhere around 26 possible side effects where as dianabol and dura decabolin have around 4.

The purpose of roids are to make your body retain more water which builds mucle mass

Some have alot more side effects than others and some will cause your body to lose the water weight after you quit taking them and also not working out.Basically if you take them you should choose wisely. To many people dont really know what the side effects of what they are taking could be(even pro athletes).

Only know this because I used to read up on them for years when I was younger and bought a news letter for them. Never did buy them or use them though.I just wanted to know what Id be taking if I decided to

Well yeah, but Creatine is more energy then anything. Creatine gives you the kick in the ass you need the day after a tough ass work out, or game.

I used Creatine for a long period of time when I was in High School and then my short time at School.

Creatine gives you the energy to bust your ass in the gym more then you could without it, and you give the results to yourself by how much you're working out.

Legal, too.

When did Creatine become a roid? You can buy that at GNC.

Not sure about todays mixtures but I from what I remember your body can only hold so much Creatine and the rest goes in the toilet. There were other supplements you could take along with it to help the body digest more of it. Also you really have to use that in cycles to get the maximum effect from it.

Oh I think Dubb knows Creatine isn't a Roid.

It's perfectly legal.

I could be wrong, but that's how I've always looked at creatine

It doesn't give you energy it makes you retain water in a different way then roids does. It makes you grow faster and bigger by the water retention it also is a big factor in muscle repair. It also allows you to push more at the gym because it floods your body with creatine (which your body produces anyways) it just doubles and triples the dosage. I take it now, however I'm giving my liver a break, I like to cycle creatine. You take it and saturate your muscles/body with it. The biggest mistake in taking creatine is your water intake, you really need to be on a strict regimen of daily water intake because if not it won't flow through the body regularly or fully like it should and your body will deposit the stuff in other places making it "wasted material" then you'll piss it out and not reap the full reward from taking it.

The determining factors in creatine are growth and repair. However there are literally TONS of stuff on the market that give you the energy.

1 point I left out as to why you can pump more is because it rapidly slows the lactic acid build up (that burning you get when maxing out) so you pump and push more.

Creatine simply put is energy -> to the muscles -> stronger and better, stronger, more work outs.

"By allowing you to perform more work as a result of additional energy, increased protein synthesis is stimulated. Secondly, when an abundance of creatine phosphate is stored in the muscle, the muscle will hold more water in its cells and become what is known as "volumized" or "super-hydrated." The more volumized a muscle is, the more it will promote the synthesis of protein as well as deter protein breakdown."

It's not energy though bro. You're supposed to take it even on non workout days to keep your system full, when I take it on my non workout days it's not giving me energy and alertness that energy is supposed to give you.

It's just a supp that helps you peak harder by cutting off some of the lactic acid build up which allows you to go harder and repair quicker.

In a nutshell, creatine's function is to help to supply energy to muscle cells. It's believed that creatine works as a phosphate reservoir which is used for regenerating ATP (adenosine triphosphate) -- which you may remember from high school biology is the main fuel for the muscle in initial high-intensity muscle activity. When a muscle contracts, ATP loses some phosphate in the process of creating energy. Creatine is a source of fuel for re-supplying that lost phosphate which in turn is then used to create more ATP.

It also drives water into those muscles, which is why you see people getting bigger much quicker.

Correct, nice copy and paste job by the way!:banana019:

I just get thrown off when you say energy because it's not energy and even if some article says "energy" its in laymans terms.

Haha, wasn't worth my time to type out pretty much the same thing.

It's all about recooping. Bust your ass for 2 hours in a work out that would kill someone not using creatine, but if you're using it you can bust your ass in that workout, wake up and go do it again.

We're on the same page, I think?

Oh were on the same page. I got a little thrown off by the word "energy" I think of energy and think of eggs, red bull or a coffee... lol

But for the most part were on the same page, that last one is the most important part when you consider the workload in the gym. Too me thats the energy. When you max out at the gym you burn and burn badly, the creatine decreases that burning which allows you to do more. So in essence were on the same page just don't say the word ENERGY!! :grimace-32:

Aaron Wilson of the National Football Post reportsat least one unnamed NFL general manager isn't surprised by Houston Texans linebacker Brian Cushing's four-game suspension for violating the NFL steroid policy.

The personnel boss told AOL Fanhouse that his team thought that Cushing was a longtime steroid user when they evaluated him at the NFL scouting combine last year.

"We did our research on him before the draft last year and we concluded he was a chronic steroid user dating back to high school," the unnamed GM said. "More than a few people were surprised when he passed the steroid tests at the combine. I think the guy became a pro at masking it, until he was caught. I definitely would have taken my vote back on that award if I had one."

Cushing has said he tested positive for a non-steroidal substance with various reports stating that he tested positive for HCG.

He retained the NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year award following an Associated Press re-vote, but is no longer a second- team All-Pro.
lol at Cushing saying that he did not take anything and that its a medical error, then the guy on TV who spoke with doping investigators said there is noway he didn't take them, you can tell Cushing is a dumbass because hes lying and sounding dumb doing so. Saying that he thinks he has a medical condition which is why its showing, but the guy was saying that if it was a medical condition it would still be showing and not disappear.

Athletes always go into denial and try to pass the buck when they test positive. It would no doubt be more helpful for Cushing - who I'm surprised kept his ROY award, although I guess the news of his suspension came out a long time after the season ended - to have owned up and admitted his mistakes. The fact he is passing blame just makes me believe he's going to continue to try and skirt around the rules.
