Just two quick comments in fairness.

1. Anthony Fasano is far from a weak TE, and he owns us on a regular basis.

2. Special teams is an important part of the game, so although i hear what you're saying, you also cant make it seem like a fluke. If you dont show up for special teams, you get beat, its still a loss. Special teams isnt break time, although some think it is. Special teams always has momentum shifting capability, and thats what happened in those games.

Yea specials teams is very important. We have one of the better units in the league and have had top quality special teams since Westoff has been here. But what a coincidence, Tedd freakin' Ginn of all people return 2 on our unit. Everythings clicking for us defensively the 2nd game. Wildcat gets pwned and they have zero offense. All the sudden Shonn Greene fumbles and it's returned for a score, then Ginn catches the holy ghost and goes off for 2 KO returns on our unit. Of course we sh*t the bed the one game, it's against the squid. 9 times out of 10 that doesn't happen (to any team in the NFL Giving up 2 KO returns in 1 game) . They scored 2 FG's offensively but LUCKILY for their 2 fluke KO returns and FF TD they SQUEAKED by. Just like they squeaked by the first time on a last second T.D.

Yea, like that will happen again.

Whatever!, if they can't see that both wins were squeakers then they need a catscan. Maybe you as well.

As you say, first off, Revis does NOT have two years left before the Jets option to buy back. He has the 2010 season ONLY prior to the 2 years of buyback at 5 & 15 million respectively. Once again, learn to read before making yourself look bad.

Secondly, I didnt devalue Leon. You overvalued him. What are you gonna do next? Say Clemens deserves a new lucrative contract worth 4.5 million per year? Right now I'd rather read posts by Mr Frosty than you. At least his posts have a measure of intelligence behind them rather than simple player love.

True, but this is new territory for Tannenbaum because I can't remember a player of such a calibre as Revis threatening to hold out since he became GM. With those guys you've named it was Tannenbaum that won out, so history does kind of suggest he'll be looking to do the same with Darrelle.
One thing is for sure though - the next year and a half will see our GM's mettle really tested with the numerous key players seeing their contracts winding down. But it does show you how well the team have drafted.
