SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 02:08 PM) Me and my wife stayed at the Mirage but we had a rental so we just came and went, we only went clubbing on the strip. I didn't gamble a penny in those casinos
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 02:09 PM) I knew something felt off I had a lot more fun at some salsa cantina spot that had a deal on coronas as opposed to any of the higher end bars in the casinos
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 02:09 PM) The strip sucks. Unless you work there, anyone who lives in vegas never actually goes there. It's like Times Square
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 02:10 PM) Yeah the clubs were nice but all the bull shit and bars surrounding the pathways of the casinos were all some bull shit
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 02:10 PM) I found a shit load of ill strip joints about 20 min away and was just chilling there
azjetfan Icon : (Yesterday, 02:23 PM) When I lived in Tucson I used to go to Vegas every year for Interbike. Never really liked it. Not my thing. Rather be in the mountains or on the beach or golf course. the people force handing those flyers are crazy sometimes.

HarlemHxC814 Icon : (Yesterday, 03:44 PM) I hope the case drags on as long as it can...trying to minimize being at work as much as possible lol
azjetfan Icon : (Yesterday, 03:44 PM) I am the opposite. I say right from the get go " If its gotten to this point they must be guilty
azjetfan Icon : (Yesterday, 03:45 PM) I am gone in 15 minutes everytime
azjetfan Icon : (Yesterday, 03:46 PM) The judge gave me crap once but I said I was unwilling to tell a lie

HarlemHxC814 Icon : (Yesterday, 03:51 PM) I come from a very political family so I dropped that card thinking that they would excuse me
azjetfan Icon : (Yesterday, 03:51 PM) I was called to jury duty in AZ after I moved to WI. When I said I moved to WI they said since I still had a AZ DL and owned a home there I had to come. So I said OK come get me nad bring me to the court house. (they are required in AZ to do so if requested). Needless to say I was excused.
HarlemHxC814 Icon : (Yesterday, 03:51 PM) my grandfather was a high ranking judge in NY and so is my uncle currently

HarlemHxC814 Icon : (Yesterday, 03:53 PM) yeah I dont blame you
azjetfan Icon : (Yesterday, 03:53 PM) Although they would have to give me a hotel room and board for that
HarlemHxC814 Icon : (Yesterday, 03:53 PM) my boss is up my ass about not accepting the money they give you

azjetfan Icon : (Yesterday, 03:54 PM) Could have been a mini vaca
azjetfan Icon : (Yesterday, 03:54 PM) Isnt it like $4 a day or something?
azjetfan Icon : (Yesterday, 03:55 PM) I think in AZ it is enough for lunch or something
HarlemHxC814 Icon : (Yesterday, 03:56 PM) $40 here in NYC
HarlemHxC814 Icon : (Yesterday, 03:57 PM) per day
azjetfan Icon : (Yesterday, 03:57 PM) What is that... Cab fare
HarlemHxC814 Icon : (Yesterday, 04:50 PM) damn well should be
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 04:53 PM) Sounds like it may not be as bad with Goodson. I could see him ending up with a 4 game suspension for possession, the gun charges probably going to the other guy.
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 05:44 PM) WHERE SHOULD I GET DINNER FROM
Jetsfan115 Icon : (Yesterday, 05:49 PM) i'd order a steak from idzik but he'd just give me a hamburger and try to pass it off as steak and when i cought him in the act he'd gie me a million dollars to make up for it

Aaron Glenn retires as a Texan
Posted by Mike Florio on July 27, 2010 8:26 PM ET
After 15 seasons, veteran defensive back Aaron Glenn finally is calling it quits. On Wednesday, he'll sign a one-day contract with one of the various teams with which he played.

He'll retire with the Texans. The team made the announcement earlier this evening.

Glenn has picked the Texans even though he spent only three seasons with the team. In contrast, he was a member of the Jets for eight years. He also spent two seasons with the Cowboys, one with the Jaguars, and one with the Saints. Glenn last played in 2008, landing on injured reserve in late November.

Picked 12th overall by the Pete Carroll-coached Jets in 1994, Glenn was a member of the first Texans team in 2002. He qualified for the Pro Bowl that year, for the third and final time of his career.

How do you retire with the only team in all of the four major sports to NOT ever make the playoffs over the team that you spent 8 yrs with and made a deep post season run with? WTF? One too many hits for Glenn.
I will not be forgotten. This is my time to shine. I've got the scars to prove it. Only the strong survive.

I had the same reaction when Reggie Jackson went into the hall as a Yankee, he only spent about 5 yrs with them. May be it has something to do with Glenn being left open for the expansion draft. If a team doesn't protect you during an expansion draft you can interpret it as they don't value you. Considering this would you retire as a Jet if you felt that way?

The Jets are the one to blame here Glenn was a stand up guy parcells cut him and glenn tried to get back with the team but it never happened so he had to go look for another team . I remember when he ran back an INT against us that yr right down our sideline.

Interesting article !
Glenn made his choice, that's fine.
As far as I see it, It is very rare for a
Pro-athlete to start and finish his career with one team !
Now, It's all about how much money I can get before I retire.
I am sure Glenn did not
(for one minute ) give a rat's butt what some fan in New York think's about his retirement!

Bingo!! He was extremely upset when the Jets exposed him to that expansion draft...but at the time his contract had the jets hands tied! Parcells gave out a couple of contracts that had the next couple of regimes in cap hell, since the contracts escalated....Marcus Coleman being another one of those...

Having stated that, Aaron Glenn was an excellent Jet! If I'm not mistaken, he was the 1st round pick by Pete Carroll in his 1 year stint here...

If Herm didn't like him for his type of defense scheme he could have been traded for pics or someone Herm liked more. Glenn had to have taken it personally because he wasn't an average player.

Wasn't Glenn a Texas native? If so, maybe he took pride in being part of the creation of a new Texas team. He can say he was one of the first players in a franchise in his home state...not too shabby. He might have particularly enjoyed his time there, his teammates, coaches, owner...whatever.

You guys are being ridiculous to hate on the guy for this...it's his choice.

If you think this is bad you should check what other boards think about him.

However he was born in Texas. Humble, Texas as a matter of fact. He gets a pass.
