HarlemHxC814 Icon : (25 March 2015 - 07:10 AM) My brother is moving to London next year...so I have a reason to be over there

ROBJETS Icon : (26 March 2015 - 05:56 AM) Az bitches!!!
ROBJETS Icon : (26 March 2015 - 06:01 AM) I dont know about all that. As bad as we get over sports the Brits get far worse. You might suffer a huge beat down if you say the wrong thing there. Well maybe not being its televised to the U.S.. Security probably be pretty tight.
ROBJETS Icon : (26 March 2015 - 06:03 AM) Well...... the good thing is I know who to mooch off of now if I go to London.
JSOTF Icon : (26 March 2015 - 06:47 AM) hahahaha, it isnt European Football!
ROBJETS Icon : (26 March 2015 - 07:04 AM) Ive seen a lot of videos. Most countries go psycho over their soccer teams. Ive seen some serious very bloody beat downs. Fans stabbing the players and refs, etc. And they say we are bad in the U.S. not even close to that.
ROBJETS Icon : (26 March 2015 - 07:06 AM) I think one was in Africa....a fan stormed the field and was knifing everyone in sight after his team lost
ROBJETS Icon : (26 March 2015 - 07:08 AM) Hell even in mma when the Brits come over they are all cocky as hell. Big time cocky like they are going to easily destroy everyone they face cocky.

ROBJETS Icon : (27 March 2015 - 02:37 AM) London is 4 hours ahead of east coast U.S. Bellator prelims are 7pm Friday night U.S. East Coast time and the main card is 9pm So just add 4 hours to that if you can catch either. Im sure you can catch a stream or use a U.S. VPN if you dont have access to Spike.com. You guys might get Bellator on another channel their just like with the UFC.
ROBJETS Icon : (27 March 2015 - 02:47 AM) Anyway only reason I mentioned it was because of your sense of humor. The last Bellator 134 was called the British Invasion. If you watch mma Might want to add this site to your favorites http://www.mmauk.net...y/bellatornews/
ROBJETS Icon : (27 March 2015 - 02:55 AM) There was one of those hour long shows about the upcoming event featuring the fighters the prior week to Bellator 134 and all 4 of the Brits were cocky as hell. Yelling "The British are coming!!!!"
ROBJETS Icon : (27 March 2015 - 02:57 AM) By the way 135 is tonight if you are interested. I used to watch pretty much all the televised mma now I stick with Bellator and UFC only
ROBJETS Icon : (27 March 2015 - 03:07 AM) that last link is a UK mma site. Only reason i added it. http://www.sherdog.com/ is pretty much the best mma site on the net for everything mma

I'm always looking for the classics maybe others here are too. Here's what I just bumped in to. I'm not going to post the links to the games because that may be a violation of T.O.S. of this site and I want to be on this forum this season and beyond without being suspended or banned. Instead Ill post a link to the Location where the game links are found, that should get around any T.O.S violation

THE FOLLOWING 8 GAMES ARE CONDENSED VERSIONS OF THE GAMES OR HIGHLIGHT SHOWS (NOT FULL GAME) BUT ALL YOU NEED TO SEE

1986 AFC DIVISIONAL PLAYOFF JETS @ BROWNS (THIS IS A ONE HOUR NFL NETWORK HIGHLIGHT SHOW OF THE GAME)
The snake bitten franchise bowl, yep it lives up to it's name, a late stupid penalty gives new life to the team that is running out of time. Great game with a great finish.

1980 AFC DIVISIONAL PLAYOFF RAIDERS @ BROWNS (THIS IS A CONDENSED VERSION OF THE GAME MOST PLAYS ARE SHOWN)
This was supposed to be the Browns year. Not too many people gave the Raiders a chance in this below freezing classic game. Browns fans will never forget this game

1980 AFC DIVISIONAL PLAYOFF BILLS @ CHARGERS (THIS IS A 20 CONDENSED VERSION OF THE GAME ALL BIG PLAYS ARE SHOWN)
An exciting playoff game that goes down to the wire

1980 WEEK 14 BROWNS @ VIKINGS (THIS IS A CONDENSED VERSION OF THE GAME)
The Browns who were known as the "Cardiac Kids" in 1980 for there amazing comebacks, Have this game in the bag, right?
see if Minnesota can pull off they own version of an amazing comeback.

1998 DIVISIONAL PLAYOFF PACKERS @ 49ERS (A TEN MINUTE VIDEO SHOWING THE 49ERS FINAL DRIVE)
Bret Farve has done it again, a late touchdown pass proves once again why he is the 49er killer, but there is still two minutes
left. Time for the Niners to have one last desperation drive

1981 NFC CHAMPIONSHIP COWBOYS @ 49ERS (A ONE HOUR NFL NETWORK HIGHLIGHT SHOW OF THE GAME)
Most 49ers fans will tell you this was the biggest win in the history of the 49ers, I agree

1985 MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL BEARS @ DOLPHINS (CONDENSED VERSION IT STOPS AT END OF THIRD QUARTER, BUT NOT TO MUCH ELSE HAPPENS AFTER THAT ANYWAY)
The Bears look like there going undefeated, the only team that has a chance to stop them is the only team that has ever accomplished that feat.

1981 AFC WILDCARD PLAYOFF BILLS @ JETS (ALL MAJOR PLAYS SHOWN FAST AND FERIOUS)
I was lucky enough to watch this game when it was played but unlucky enough to only have highlights of it. One of the best ever.

If anyone has any of these game in the full version please let me know, thanks

Jets debut on 'Hard Knocks' generating 'Super' buzz

Jenny Vrentas/The Star-Ledger

Posted Image

In his decade as president of HBO Sports, Ross Greenburg has learned a thing or two about closing a deal. So in March, he took Jets owner Woody Johnson and general manager Mike Tannenbaum with him to Arlington, Texas.

The trio of executives watched Manny Pacquiao defend his world welterweight crown. And there in Cowboys Stadium — future host of Super Bowl XLV, where the Jets vow to be in February — they toasted to the sixth season of "Hard Knocks."

"Everything seems to be fitting," Greenburg said last week.

The Jets' quest for the Super Bowl will no doubt fuel their season of the quick-turnaround reality series, which premieres Aug. 11 on HBO. Last season, which featured the Bengals, averaged 3.4 million viewers per week.

The attention for the Jets has so far exceeded any of the prior seasons, Greenburg said, which is why the network put together a 12-minute preview for the first time, airing tonight at 11.

The Jets didn't want to sign on last year, with a rookie head coach and rookie quarterback. But Greenburg — who was a 13-year-old Jets fan at Super Bowl III — got the ball rolling for 2010 at a December breakfast meeting with Johnson and Tannenbaum at the Regency Hotel in New York.

"And then, when the (postseason) run happened," Greenburg said, 'it was, 'Rex wants to show the world who these Jets are.' "

There will be plenty to show when players — and the 24-person NFL Films crew — report to training camp in Cortland, N.Y., Sunday. Last week in Mt. Laurel, Greenburg and his cohorts at NFL Films did a position-by-position, player-by-player breakdown to plot out story lines.

Possibilities include the fullback position, where 38-year-old Tony Richardson will bring along rookie John Conner, and the battle at left guard. Also on the show's radar: the assimilation of former AFC East rival Jason Taylor into the team and fan base; veteran running back LaDainian Tomlinson trying to prove he still has it; and the interactions between Ryan and the throng of New York-area media.

And, of course, there's the contract impasse between the team and Darrelle Revis. If the All-Pro cornerback decides to hold out, NFL Films has arranged for a crew to be with him, as was done with Bengals first-round pick >Andre Smith last season.

By now the show has a good feel for what footage from negotiations can be used and what can't, Greenburg said. In 2007, they cut sensitive parts of the contract talks between the Chiefs and running back Larry Johnson that had the potential to jeopardize the deal.

Producers are also careful with scenes involving injuries to players, because of potential grievances. Teams do have veto power, but Greenburg says he can count on one hand the number of times it has been used in the previous five seasons.

No matter what happens with Revis, that story line won't take over the show.

"A holdout isn't at the core of what Hard Knocks is about," Greenburg said. "It's boring actually, a bunch of talking heads on the phone. It's not Rex shouting out obscenities on the practice field — which, thank goodness, it's HBO."

First time I ever watched the show last night so I have no basis but I thought it was awesome. Rex dropping an F Bomb every 40 seconds. Tanny looking like a used car sales man. Joe Namath looking exactly like a old version of Justin Beiber... also, how cute is his daughter?
