So I said OK come get me nad bring me to the court house. (they are required in AZ to do so if requested). Needless to say I was excused.

Anyone else feel that the rule regarding catches is HORRENDOUS? CJ made the catch and got bumped by the DB. He got both feet down. He fell backwards and his knee was down. Then his ass was down. Then he rolls over and puts the ball on the carpet and it's ruled incomplete. This is unreal considering a RB can poke the ball over the plane for a micron of a second and then fumble and its still a TD. Lions were all but guaranteed to win considering they didn't even need the extra point to have the lead. This is the Tuck Rule Part II.

teh rule was amde a long time ago ebfore HD and all the angles os it made sense back then, however the wording doesn't leave much to the officials to make a judgement call and nowadays with all the cameras and the quality of them the officials should have some sort of judgement to make. and anyone who watches that would say he had possession
Get it done MT

first of all this is almost as bad as the fuckin tuck rule. I mean that was easily a TD and was robbed. Wat makes it worse its that after probably one of the most hard fought games I've ever seen the Lions play. To have it all taken away because of that? unfuckinreal. that's a fuckin joke.

They certainly got shafted in my eyes. I remember a couple years back the Giants were playing the Seahawks and Jeremy Shockey caught a pass in the endzone. After getting both his feet down he was immediately hit and the ball came loose, but the score still stood. In this situation, Johnson had both feet down as well as an arm and he fell on his rear with the ball under control before placing the ball on the floor. It was certainly more of a TD than the Shockey situation I remember.

No, the worst NFL rule is that a guy laying on the ground getting ax kicked by the kicker can get called for a roughing the kicker penalty. If I was a kicker I'd start hoping around the field after every kick since that dumbass ref apparently thinks you have to have an exaggerated-literal interpretation of the rules.
