Chaos Icon : (Today, 09:21 PM) wtf do they do in the locker room during the half?
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 09:21 PM) this is over, if we had gotten that TD and were up 20-17 it may have been different. Rex keeps blitzing even though Cutler is shredding it
Chaos Icon : (Today, 09:22 PM) "we started poorly in the first. let's try that again in the third!"
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 09:22 PM) Phillip Adams blew that, hes garbage
Chaos Icon : (Today, 09:22 PM) rex has too. jets got no corners that can keep up.
mgjetman Icon : (Today, 09:22 PM) Double coverage on the guy without the ball.
Chaos Icon : (Today, 09:23 PM) idzik screwed up this offseason by not signing a decent cb
Chaos Icon : (Today, 09:23 PM) no depth and a dude who's a fragile china doll
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 09:23 PM) blitzing is leaving CBs 1 on 1 and we don't have the corners for that
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 09:24 PM) The Bears WRs are really good, all big guys who dominate 1 on 1
mgjetman Icon : (Today, 09:24 PM) Can anyone remember the last special teams play that went over 50 yrds ? Me neiter..
ganggreen2003 Icon : (Today, 09:24 PM) we still in this
ganggreen2003 Icon : (Today, 09:25 PM) WE ARE GOING TO WIN!!!!
Chaos Icon : (Today, 09:25 PM) Folk's FGs count?
ganggreen2003 Icon : (Today, 09:25 PM) CMON GENO!!!!
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 09:25 PM) honestly, I rather sign a guy like Champ Bailey or Asante Samuel to play than watch someone like Phillip Adams.
ganggreen2003 Icon : (Today, 09:26 PM) JETS ball
ganggreen2003 Icon : (Today, 09:26 PM) wow we got lucky
ganggreen2003 Icon : (Today, 09:27 PM) Nelson needs to stop with that holding the ball like a loaf of bread
Canuck Jet Icon : (Today, 09:27 PM) that's 2 on Nelson
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 09:27 PM) The Bears are going all out after the run because we have no one that can beat them outside. Missing Decker hurts
ganggreen2003 Icon : (Today, 09:27 PM) f*** JACE
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 09:28 PM) He has to catch that
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 09:28 PM) this is pathetic.
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 09:28 PM) Jets blew their chances
santana Icon : (Today, 09:29 PM) Amaro cut
Chaos Icon : (Today, 09:29 PM) holmes needs to run it in for a TD to cap off this damn night
mgjetman Icon : (Today, 09:30 PM) Only on the JETS does a TE drop the ball.
santana Icon : (Today, 09:31 PM) Man that throw wasn't that bad
santana Icon : (Today, 09:31 PM) I thought amaro was a catching tight end
ganggreen2003 Icon : (Today, 09:32 PM) CMON D!!!!
ganggreen2003 Icon : (Today, 09:33 PM) NICE STOP

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- New York Jets nose tackle Kris Jenkins, who injured his surgically repaired left knee in the first quarter of Monday night's season opener against the Baltimore Ravens, will have an MRI exam Tuesday morning to determine the extent of the damage. There's a 50-50 chance he will be lost for the season, according to a person familiar with the injury.

Jenkins, who underwent reconstructive surgery on the same knee in October, was poised for a rebound season. He lost more than 30 pounds, reporting to camp in terrific shape. But on the Jets' sixth defensive play, he was caught in a pileup while trying to tackle Willis McGahee.

The Jets showed immediate concern, as players hovered over Jenkins as he received treatment from the Jets' doctors. He walked off the field under his own power, but he walked very slowly to the sideline. He was taken to the locker room and wasn't available after the game.

"I have no idea what the extent of the injury is, so I'm hopeful that it's not serious, but clearly it was enough for him not to return to the game," coach Rex Ryan said. "We're definitely hoping that he'll be OK."

If there's no damage to the ACL, Jenkins could miss only a few weeks. But if the ACL is torn, he'll be looking at more surgery.

Jenkins, 32, was injured last season in Week 6. His ACL surgery required a graft that involved a hamstring tendon. If this is another season-ending injury, Jenkins might consider retirement. He has admitted that he had fleeting thoughts of retirement while rehabbing his last knee injury

If Jenkins is out for an extended period, the Jets will be thin on the defensive line. Sione Pouha and Mike Devito would be the top interior linemen, with little depth. Ryan called Pouha, who had two fumble recoveries, "one of the best unknown players in the league."

The Jets overcame Jenkins' injury last season, still managing to finish with the No. 1 overall defense. But it will be a lot harder to do it without him.

If his season is over he will probably retire since he was set on it this year.

I don't think it was his ACL. He walked off fine, I'm guessing it's a sprain.

Judging by his facial expressions as he walked off though it gave the impression it was something serious. Hopefully you're right though and that he can come back. He's a great teammate and a great player at a position where we are desperately thin.

I disagree. I thought that the defense didn't miss a beat. Pouha played great.

Unfortunately your right. If he can't play he'll retire most certainly.

Haha, so if you walk off the field it can't be an ACL?

I've seen people run, jump and carry on fine with a torn ACL. It's not abnormal at all.
