ganggreen2003 Icon : (Yesterday, 12:04 PM) he's a completely weak-minded individual
ganggreen2003 Icon : (Yesterday, 12:04 PM) already back to doing what he did last season THROWING INT's
ganggreen2003 Icon : (Yesterday, 12:04 PM) sucks that Garrard retired but I'd rather suffer with Geno going through growing pains than keeping Sanchez under center in 2013
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 12:33 PM) haha gg03 throwing in the towel on sanch!
mgjetman Icon : (Yesterday, 01:37 PM) What a way to make sporrts center already, Mark......
mgjetman Icon : (Yesterday, 01:39 PM) Sanch owns the #1 blooper of all time with that butt fumble also and to make matters worse he threw it right to a friggin Pat...
Jetsfan115 Icon : (Yesterday, 01:53 PM) buttfumble on thanksgiving was the low point of his career
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 01:55 PM) Teammates talking shut about Sanchez
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 02:11 PM) In case you haven't heard, because why would anyone report on the Giants, Nicks is also holding out
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 02:11 PM) That makes both Cruz and Nicks.
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 02:11 PM) But who cares, Sanchez threw 3 "interceptions"!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 02:59 PM) ?
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 02:59 PM) why would we give a f*** about the Giants?
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 03:04 PM) gg03 jimmies are riled
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 03:21 PM) You're not in NY. All the backpages are focused on Sanchez
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 03:21 PM) None of the NY media even mention Cruz or Nicks
Jetsfan115 Icon : (Yesterday, 03:40 PM) nicks isn't holding out. he's injured still and taking it easy. cruz is holding out. why it isn't a big ordeal IDK. it would be for us
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 04:02 PM) maybe because theyre not that far off.
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 04:02 PM) Cruz wants to return back, they'll figure it out.
Jetsfan115 Icon : (Yesterday, 04:41 PM) 3 mil a year off or 30% less then cruz wants. tahst alot of money to be off
Jetsfan115 Icon : (Yesterday, 04:41 PM) cruz doens't want to leave NY cause teh extra money he'll get in endorsements plus he knows taht they can RFA him this year and then Franchise next year so he might not be able to get a LTD for 3 years
Mr_Jet Icon : (Yesterday, 05:21 PM) Clemens11/Tebow15 (soon to be Smith7) said if we had just drafted Crabtree and Nicks and kept Clemens, we'd be good.
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 06:44 PM) No, he can't be Smith7
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 06:44 PM) his name is reserved for garbage QBs, we don't want Geno to be bad
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 06:44 PM) He can be McElroy14
extmenace Icon : (Yesterday, 06:51 PM) we're taking bridgewater next year with the number 1 pick and treating geno like a jimmy clausen.
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 06:53 PM) What makes Bridgewater better than Geno?
HurricaneJet32 Icon : (Yesterday, 07:12 PM) everything
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 07:56 PM) ^
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 08:16 PM) college players always get hyped up before the draft process, just wondering what makes him so much better.
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 08:19 PM) Stronger arm, plays in a pro system, better throwing motion, better athlete
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 08:19 PM) there's probably nothing Geno does right now that's better than what Teddy does
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 10:25 PM) Wouldn't it be funny with Bridgewater ends up having the type of season Barkley had?
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 07:48 AM) better athlete but never runs as well
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 07:48 AM) stronger arm but rarely throws deep
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 07:48 AM) I am trying to find this article, but Bridgewater had about the least amount of 40+ throws in college football
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 07:49 AM) I wouldn't surprise me if he wasn't viewed as highly next year. College players always get hyped up a year before the draft process. People change their opinions quickly.
Jetsman05 Icon : (Today, 07:56 AM) I'll put a good amount of money that Bridgewater is still highly regarded coming out next year.
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 08:00 AM) ok I found the chart
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 08:00 AM) Bridgewater had 0% of his passes go 40+ yards in college
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 08:02 AM) he could be, I'll wait though
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 08:02 AM) I doubt Smith will be as bad as Clausen anyways
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 08:03 AM) I remember watching Clausen in a NFL game and the guy couldn't even throw a spiral.
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 08:03 AM) Geno has been impressing teammates with how well he can spin the ball and sling it.
Jetsman05 Icon : (Today, 08:31 AM) I hope Geno turns out to be a f***ing monster

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- Just think, Jets fans. If Darrelle Revis were still holding out, Kyle Wilson would be your starting cornerback.

And after his performance on Monday night, that's a scary thought.

The highly touted rookie struggled mightily in his NFL debut, committing a costly pass-interference penalty late in the first half and getting torched by Anquan Boldin all night in the Jets' 10-9 loss to the Ravens.

Of course, you can't put the blame for the Jets' ugly loss entirely on Wilson. Fellow corner Antonio Cromartie committed four penalties and overall, the Jets were flagged 14 times for a back-breaking 125 yards. But it was Wilson's miscues that seemed to come at the most inopportune times for the Jets.

"Today was a joke," Rex Ryan said of the penalties from his defensive backs. "[The Ravens] just threw it up there -- shoot, I don't blame them. Hope for a completion or a penalty."

Against Wilson, the Ravens got both.

Wilson committed a defensive holding penalty after David Harris stopped Ray Rice for no gain on a third-and-28 from the Jets 47. The penalty gave Baltimore a first down on a drive that ultimately ended with a Willis McGahee fumble, but it was only the beginning of a long night for Wilson.

With Baltimore facing a third and 10 from the Jets 23 with 56 seconds o go in the first half, Wilson was flagged for a pass interference call in the end zone, giving the Ravens the ball at the Jets' 1 yard-line. McGahee punched it in three plays later to give the Ravens a 7-6 lead at the half.

And it didn't get much better for Wilson after halftime.

With the Ravens facing a third and 7 from their own 11, Flacco hit Boldin for a 38-yard gain after he snuck behind Wilson on single coverage. Three plays later, Flacco found Boldin -- again covered by Wilson -- for a 27-yard gain, putting the Ravens at the Jets' 15 and setting up their final field goal of the game.

So forget "Hard Knocks." It was a hard-knock life for Wilson in his first game as a pro.

"Obviously I just have to go back and work on my technique," Wilson said after the game. "I just have to adjust to the way the game's being played."

And quickly. Wilson has only three practices to get things sorted out this week before Wes Welker, Randy Moss and the Patriots invade the New Meadowlands Arena on Sunday.

Wilson, drafted 29th overall by the Jets in April, worked as the starting corner opposite Cromartie during Revis' 36-day holdout. After Revis came back, the Jets felt comfortable putting Wilson in as the nickel corner.

"I thought the young man played well,” Ryan said of his rookie's maiden performance on Monday night.

It's a statement coach may rethink that after he watches the game tape on Tuesday.

Darrelle Revis is the best and it shows!
