RetireChrebet Icon : (03 June 2016 - 03:37 AM) You know your fucked when the biggest offseason story is can we convince a journeyman QB whom singlehandedly threw us out of the playoffs last year to sign a deal worth way more than his actual value!
MikeGangGree... Icon : (03 June 2016 - 09:59 AM) Ok jets brothers I need fantasy football help. Who should I keep in my keepers league. We have to decide by July
MikeGangGree... Icon : (03 June 2016 - 10:00 AM) Should I keep Cam Gurley or Bell?
MikeGangGree... Icon : (03 June 2016 - 10:01 AM) Cam had a monster year last year and in our league it's 6 points per PassTd and cam is getting his best WR back.
MikeGangGree... Icon : (03 June 2016 - 10:01 AM) Gurley was a monster last year as a rookie
MikeGangGree... Icon : (03 June 2016 - 10:03 AM) Bell missed most of the year with a injury but it's also a PPR league. In only 6 games last year he =100 points
MikeGangGree... Icon : (03 June 2016 - 10:04 AM) Cam also had 45 total TDs last year
Jetsfan115 Icon : (03 June 2016 - 10:50 AM) I'd keep bell
Jetsfan115 Icon : (03 June 2016 - 10:50 AM) there are maybe like 5 #1 fantasy RBs at best and you need to start at least 2
Jetsfan115 Icon : (03 June 2016 - 10:50 AM) QBs are easier to find. I had cam in 2 leagues and drafted him way late. RBs are impossible to find late
MikeGangGree... Icon : (04 June 2016 - 07:53 PM) FIRE FITZPATRICK
MikeGangGree... Icon : (04 June 2016 - 07:53 PM) That Damn dirty street thug
MikeGangGree... Icon : (05 June 2016 - 09:43 PM) In other news the NBA finals is like A NFL team Playing a college football team.
Jetsfan115 Icon : (06 June 2016 - 11:23 AM) line is in. jets are favorites for 5 games, pick for 2, and underdog for 9
MikeGangGree... Icon : (08 June 2016 - 04:56 PM) We play better as a underdog
santana Icon : (12 June 2016 - 03:54 PM) JETS JETS JETS
santana Icon : (13 June 2016 - 09:28 AM) Update on the #Jets situation with Ryan Fitzpatrick: Nothing. … Just nothing. Doesn't seem like things will change heading into minicamp.
Jetsfan115 Icon : (13 June 2016 - 10:39 AM) yeah every day i check for an update and every day, nothing
vjdbbq Icon : (14 June 2016 - 05:43 AM) Where's Rob and his ass ?
Mario Icon : (20 June 2016 - 06:21 PM) Any Jets fan in the Kansas city, Missouri area, that will be going to the game on the 25th of September?
vjdbbq Icon : (22 June 2016 - 07:29 AM) No Mario ; you will be there alone .
MikeGangGree... Icon : (25 June 2016 - 07:15 PM) FIRE FITZPATRICK
MikeGangGree... Icon : (30 June 2016 - 12:00 PM) Sheldon Richardson suspended for 1 game for violating league substance abuse policy
ganggreen2003 Icon : (15 July 2016 - 04:06 PM) The JETS shouldn't of signed wilkerson to such a big contract
ganggreen2003 Icon : (15 July 2016 - 04:07 PM) he doesn't deserve $17 mil/year cause he is coming off an injury...he should of earned it by playing this year as the Franchise tag and then if he played lights out then you open the vault
MikeGangGree... Icon : (15 July 2016 - 04:21 PM) WOOOOOOOO
RetireChrebet Icon : (15 July 2016 - 04:58 PM) How much guaranteed money? also does this mean hes here for 6 years since he's tagged? how does that work?
MikeGangGree... Icon : (15 July 2016 - 10:20 PM) Now cut that street thug Wilkerson!!
NJAzrael71 Icon : (16 July 2016 - 03:47 AM) 54 million guaranteed
NJAzrael71 Icon : (16 July 2016 - 03:48 AM) 54 guaranteed against injury but 37 in straight guaranteed money without injury
NJAzrael71 Icon : (16 July 2016 - 03:49 AM) Should've waited till after the season to see how he comes off the injury but I guess they figure he wouldn't have signed if they waited another year
vjdbbq Icon : (17 July 2016 - 07:32 PM) Where is ROB and his ass ?
Jetsfan115 Icon : (18 July 2016 - 10:27 AM) guess that means richardson is gone after this season. Maybe we can franchise and trade him
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 08:52 AM) whos running fantasy football league this year? brotana?
Jetsfan115 Icon : (Yesterday, 10:25 AM) darron lee still isn't signed... greedy street thug lol
MikeGangGree... Icon : (Yesterday, 05:31 PM) Rich is under contract for next year and we used a team option for 17 already so he's a jet for 2 more year's for sure unless we trade him.

Anyone else find it funny that the logic after last night coming out of the media is that:

a)The Jets were exposed and the offense is bad
b)The Ravens dominated the game
c)The Ravens are a great team by beating a team that everyone is slamming

The Ravens are getting blown up everywhere, while the Jets are getting killed (and mostly deservedly so). What I can't figure out is how the Ravens, who barely scored and needed a team committing over a dozen penalties for over a hundred yards to win, are that much a better team. I mean, we are a great defense, but they controlled the ball almost the entire game and still only had an averagely productive game.

I'm sick of the Ravens. They're hyped every season as being one step away and they always finish like that, just shy of the playoffs or falling short of the Super Bowl. They're like a less hyped version of the Chargers.

Also, for the record, the story that sparked me on this is Don Banks' story for SI. http://sportsillustr...ings/index.html

He also says in there that losing Jenkins is a huge loss for us. I guess he didn't notice that we played as well without him as we did in that game and went to the AFC championship without him last season.

Exterminate all rational thought, that is the conclusion I have come to

I thought the Jets looked way better on defense, they were out there for most of the game and were dominating the Ravens, the penalties hurt and bailed the Ravens out. Hopefully this was just one of those games, I know the refs were known for calling a lot of penalties last year. Rex said it perfectly, there are aggressive penalties and there are stupid penalties, you got to eliminate the stupid ones.

I thought the Braylon Edwards "running into the kicker" penalty was absolute BULLSHIT. Edwards almost had the block, he was diving for it, he didn't run into the kicker, the kicker as soon as his kicking leg was coming down and touched Edwards dropped down, it was so phony and complete bullshit. That rule is so dumb, I can see actually running into the kicker which is dangerous, but what Edwards did really? That is just not allowing them to play football and just dictating the game by penalties.. That penalty was huge since we lost 10-9, would of been a 9-6 win. Kickers are so f***ing annoying, biggest pansies on the field.

The Ravens are what I thought they were. They had the 3rd best defense last year and it showed. Jets nuumber one defense was better.
Penalties killed us but Ravens have a great qb under center Jets didnt. So their offense is better

The Ravens also have 3 solid vet WRs that knew what to do against single coverage. There's not many other WR corps in the league like that.

As a Dolphins fan, of course its great to get a laugh at the Jets. But more than anything its just because of all the talking they did. If they had kept quiet and played the same way, they wouldn't be getting killed as bad as they are now.

Of course its any given Sunday, but I don't like the chances of the Dolphins playing the Ravens so tight.

What did the Ravens do well last night? Our offensive gameplan was non existant, but LT still managed something like 5 YPC. We targeted our WR a whopping 3 times the entire night! The one turnover the Ravens got, was when Greene ran into Slaughson and fumbled. On the other side of the ball, the Ravens needed the refs to move the ball. If it wasn't for the penalties, we'd have given up 6 points... at most.

They did a decent job of picking up the blitz, making a decent throw and giving the Jets DBs the choice of PI or completed passes.

No, the Ravens needed your guys in single coverage because of the blitzes to commit PI to move the ball, or make nice throws and catches against that single coverage to move the ball.

I agree. The one area where they didn't completely suck was not giving up a lot of sacks. Point taken, considering we didn't have our best pass rusher and our defense was on the field for 3/4 of the game, I doubt that the Ravens should take turns giving each other Gatorade sponge baths. As far as those PI calls, a couple were legit but there were a few that could've gone either way. That PI call on Wilson to move the ball to the 1 was complete BS. Even Gruden thought so.
