We definately should have kept Leon. I said it before and I'm saying it again. His injured leg is really slowing him down from scoring 2 kickoff return tds, while breaking tackles. And it weasnt like they were 99 and 101 yarders or anything. Yea, definately lost a step, comon. And i dont wanna hear he was still a risk or any of that bs. And if we kept Leon we still could have drafted Conner with our 4th or even traded back, drafted Conner and gotten another pick to add some depth to our roster.Leon aside, I woulda cut McKnight over Woodhead. McKnight doesn't even play special teams, he is a complete waste of a roster spot. The only reason he is still on the team is the fact that he is a rookie and he MIGHT do something later, nothing close to what Woodhead or Leon can do though. Woodhead at least was on special teams and actually made plays there, and he was running well. He scored on a 20 yard run for the Pats in his first week with them! and he had a nice run after that. McKnight doesnt break away from anyone and fumbles. He came into mini camp out of shape, didnt learn his lesson, and came to training camp and failed the conditioning test. You have to be kidding me. McKnight has proven he clearly doesnt care so why should we? I dont care if hes a rookie, he is lazy and unimpressive in the carries he got in the preseason. He is a waste and should have never been drafted. But again, even with that mistake(coupled with shipping out Leon) we could have fixed it by keeping Woodhead, but nope, keep the lazy waste of a player and let him collect his checks for doing absolutely nothing. As for Vlad, we knew what we were getting into. Hes a physical specimen but raw. He needs time to develop. But at least its a learning thing with him because he is still new to the sport and the guard position and not just a lazy guy who doesnt care. At least he hasnt shown that.
