Rex said he expects Revis and Pace to return next game. And we also get Holmes into the mix on offense, really excited about that.

I am excited about Revis returning, our pass defense will be so much better with him. Man you really appreciate the talent he has when you see these CBs on our team not turning to the ball in the air or getting beat in coverage. Wilson is having a tough start to the season, I still believe in him though just a REALLY tough position to play as a rookie.

Pace is also a welcomed addition, he improves the run defense and pass rush.

Preseason I was wondering how Braylon would respond to the threat of Holmes. I'm thinking he is out in front if we only keep one of them now. If He can continue to stretch defenses Holmes will have the chance to eat teams alive underneath. Imagine Keller and Braylon drawing safties down field and leaving the middle open for Santonio. The play of those two guys through these first four games is going to really open up things as the season develops.

Exterminate all rational thought, that is the conclusion I have come to

I saw Buffalo as a potential banana skin, but after that performance it was stupid to believe that. And with Santonio, Revis and Pace all set to return there's even more reason for optimism.
Next week no doubt will be tough - I'd probably call it the toughest contest yet considering the Vikings have a balanced offense that can beat you both on the ground and through the air; thankfully Revis should be back as Wilson needs less pressure on his shoulders after a couple difficult performances.
Hopefully Sanchez and Holmes can both be on the same page from the off too. 0099 pointed out in another thread that Cotchery hasn't been involved much so far, but he has the same amount of catches as Braylon. And you figure he'll become even more of a threat as teams will have three quality receivers and one in-form TE to cover. I don't see any of our receiving threats pushing for the league lead in receptions, but that matters little if they all make noticeable contributions themselves.

I think you are going to be shocked by season's end just how much better Holmes is than Edwards. I really like Edwards and think he is turning himself into a nice possession receiver. Given that we have Cotchery already I think they are redundant a bit. Edwards certainly is a better playmaker (read big play) receiver, but if Holmes is that guy and better, like I think we will all see that he is, than Edwards is the odd man out. Really I think if Edwards can somehow prove he is better than Cotchery at being a possession receiver than I thin Cotchery should be let go because he no longer has any real break away ability, but I doubt that scenario will happen.

Overall with Pace, Revis, and Holmes coming back for this Monday I would bet everything on a Jets Monday night redemption against Lord Favre and his Purple People Pussies.
